Terrible long wait time. Came at 530pm to wait for a queue number. Clinic opens 6pm. Was told dr comes only at 7pm. But dr did not show up even at 8pm!!!! 2.5 hours wait and patients were getting frustrated and everyone felt their time was wasted. Do not come here unless you have a lot of time to spare.

The doctor here really explain in details, very responsible and friendly. The only thing that upset me is the long waiting time, but the fee here is rather cheap compared with other nearby clinics.

My family & I have been with Doctor Yap since he started his clinic many years back. Never turn back. GPs of his calibre who are have his patients at heart & are not greedy is very rare!

Dr Yap is a detailed, responsible & ethical doctor. He can handle toddlers as well. I had been bringing my children to him when they were as young as 6 months old.
Very affordable and effective. The queue would be long. I usually take a queue number and return home. Call the clinic to check on the current queue number and bring children there when it is a few numbers away. Usually around 15 minutes per patient.

I have been going to this doctor for many years starting with the time I lived in Bukit Timah. Even after moving out to Yew Tee, I find that doctors of his calibre are hard to find so I still try to visit him. He's very committed to his patients, caring, kind and not greedy to over-charge patients with the opportunity. The long waiting times are a sign of the time he takes to understand the history of each patient and proof of satisfied clients who keep returning to him. I wish him all the best.

Very respobsible doctor. Waiting time is a bit long but that wont stop me from revisiting him.

Indeed, I agree very much with Shuli's experience and have been going to him for years. The long waiting time is only evident of how much attention he gives each patients. The much cheaper consultation fee and the great attention he gives would certainly result in longer queues and waiting time. If it was truly as terrible as others claim it to be, there would be no reason why Dr Yap would have such a crowd on a daily basis. Some people may think he is heartless for rejecting patients past a certain timing, but little do they know that he works beyond the stipulated times. I remember when he first started the clinic it would run from 8-1230 and then the afternoon shift would start at 2, but the last patient he would see would be at 1330 behind those closed shutters. Great caring doctor for anyone willing to wait!

The waiting time may be long but that is only because Dr Yap is really a good and earnest doctor. He is very concise with his advice and doesn't dismiss your conditions with the attitude of many doctors these days. He also charges less than half what most clinics these days charge and doesn't try to force medications on you that you don't need just to bump up his fee (again, unlike many doctors these days). Literally cheap and good - naturally there will be a long wait, but definitely worth it the wait.

Really lousy place. I go there at 4:15pm and they say that they won't accept anymore patients as they are closing at 4:30pm.
If so, they could have indicated that registration closes at maybe 4pm or 4:15pm to be safe.
For a patient to come all the way and not be accepted, it just goes to show they don't care about the patients, but about themselves. As a clinic, how can this be? Shouldn't patients be the first priority.
It was not like there were 10 people registering at 4:15pm. It was only me.
Also, the woman at the counter was very rude. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. Try the other 3-4 clinics just opposite the road.
