Good coffee and the food is not bad. The prices are a little steep and it can get quite crowded during the weekend. Worth a visit at least once.

Decent eggs ben and latte. They probably work their staff too hard cos my server got the order for coffee wrong three times. LOL. But its still a nice brunch place near the canal. Do make sure to make reservations if you are interested cos its a small place.

Good experience. One of the nice hipsterish places. I love the coffee. I'm ok with the food. I ordered the toast this time though and it was pretty good. I really liked the jam that came with it. The butter was a good temperature. Overall one of my nicer experiences. Very polite and friendly and attentive staff.

Good location on a very nice and fully pedestrian river side district. The coffee was interesting, made of Tiger nut milk and orange peel... for the other items, brunch and breakfast seems to be popular for locals, probably a good offering overall.

I would not recommend going to Toby's. I went for Sunday brunch - a simple poached eggs and smoked salmon on brioche toast cost $20.50 and requires no cooking except for the eggs being poached. And yet my eggs were overdone. They also served me a different order at first and I get the impression that the servers were mixing up many other people's orders. A muffin and drinks also took a while to be served. My overall opinion is that the place is overrated and the whole team needs to buck up.

I ordered the Rodyk Style Eggs Benedict. The smoked salmon was great, and the amount complemented the bread decently. The sauce was lighter than usual Hollandaise sauce. The eggs were unbelievably bouncy, and had a perfect consistency.
Only grievance I had was the toast, which was not crisp and was instead rather soft. There were a few hiccups with the service as well - they swopped our table numbers for no reason, and also gave us the wrong order twice.

Nice place to have breakfast but slightly expensive for me. $39.55 for 2 pax.
Taste: 8/10
Environment: 8/10
Price: 5/10
Friendly staff & most importantly pet friendly! (Outdoor only)
Will I visit again? I wish I could but price make me think twice. Worthy for nice occasion.

For those who like to try different coffees, Toby's has a constantly changing selection of beans sourced from all over world. It's a discovery of new flavours time and time again. Especially good for those who buy beans to grind at home.

Amazing ambience and service. Nothing on the menu would have been sub-par in taste. Really great place to be at during the weekends. Able to accommodate large groups as well. Reminiscent of the cafes found around Melbourne.

They serve good breakfast. Nice ambience. Good place to bring kids for breakfast.

Industrial style place where you feel your self like dining in the past, but with a beautiful view of the river infront of the restaurant.
Loved the breakfast they served ( I took the Benedict egg with salmon along with Croissant and long black coffee.
Honestly, one of my best breakfast experiences .
Thank you Toby!

Awesome selection of different brew styles of coffee. Tried the V60, Wood neck and nitro cold brew. Good French toast and waffles, too
9/10 coffee selection
7.5/10 food

Already famous but wanna add my review. Here became my favourite cafe in SG because interior is nice, staff is friendly, atmosphere is so relaxing. I understand why they are popular. Of course, coffee is good.
Why don’t you make another outlet?

Enjoyable reakfast on a quiet and cool morning along the river. Seated outside and had a waffle with vanilla ice cream and granola with yogurt. Very generous servings and great tasting food.

Poached eggs were very well done. Pulled pork burger was very juicy. Rainbow fries can be a little more colourful. Overall this is a great place for brunch.

Come here all the time. Great for families and friends and is also pet-friendly. Best coffee l've had in Singapore. Food is nice and not too over priced. Staff are friendly and greet me in a friendly way whenever l go there. I recommend toby's estate to families, children and adults also people with pets.

Went here for lunch & sat outside with the beautiful view of the river. I can't remember the name, but the salad I had was delicious along with a tasty + unique mixture of fries.

Our favourite place for brunch in Singapore. Excellent coffee, food and service. Can be quite packed during prime brunch hour on weekends. If you have the Entertainer App, you should totally visit.

Very nice setting by the canal with great setting both indoors and outdoors. A good place to work or meet.
The food was good and I would recommend trying their nitrogen-infused nitro-coffee. A bit pricey, otherwise 5-star

One of the hypest coffeeshop in town. Great coffees are made here and good place to hangout
Peggy L Mason (27/05/2017 03:46)
The poached eggs with salmon were good but pricey at $20. When we went Saturday morning the wait for food was not long but we had to wait a bit to be seated at the large communal table inside. They pride themselves on their coffee. There's free internet here, so you could study or write.
Nichell Logue (29/04/2017 15:19)
The Toby's burger and the French toast are a must try!
There is a nice select of coffee, lattes and cakes for dessert 🍨
The seating is quite nice. There are many seats outside if the weather is not too hot, including high tops. There is a lots lots of inside seats, including a larger shared table when you first walk in.
Great for people watching as this tends to be a busy area for people walking around on weekends with their family dog. 🐶

A good place to chill and have a coffee. Tried their flat white which I really enjoyed.

Good family friendly place for brunch on weekends. We ride our bikes here along PCN from Redhill, it's a good pit stop on the river. The coffee, eggs, and salmon is perfect.
Ervin Yeo (22/02/2017 10:30)
Free wifi, air conditioned, nice environment. Very limited electrical points for your laptop.
There's a deep rumbling sound in the background though, which is audible over the music that's playing. Thus, may not be a suitable working place for those who are more sensitive to noise.
JY Choi (15/02/2017 12:00)
there was few cafe which opens this fast. My family has to eat breakfast before check-in at nearby hotel, so we went here. The view is nice. there is a river, people with dogs, etc. I enjoyed tea also. And this egg benedict was the best. there's tuna in it, and it's very fresh. salad also.

Industrial Riverside Cafe
Popular weekend brunch cafe by the river with a chic industrial setting. Good coffee from expert brewers.
The Damage: S$45-60 for two
Ambience: High ceiling exposed industrial design. Popular on weekends, service is attentive

The food and service has seriously plummeted over the years. There are much better breakfast options in the area. Avoid!
Al Wong (02/12/2016 10:36)
Cute trendy place for breakfast. Healthy options. Open concept, similar to Australian-style breakfast coffee houses, nice seating outdoors. You can also grab a single seat facing outside and work. I had eggs Benedict on smoked salmon which was very nice and filling. My husband opted for a granola yogurt bowl and sourdough side. Worth going back.
Johnny Koh (01/10/2016 03:34)
Good food. Good atmosphere. Didn't give 5 stars because service is a little slow.
Lian Jye Su (19/09/2016 18:08)
Great place for brunch. Awesome egg benedict and good selection of tea and coffee. Nice outdoor seating too.
孙洁琼 (08/09/2016 01:52)
Way overrated. I bought coffee beans by Toby's Estate from NY and then found out that there is a cafe here. As the beans pleased me, I assumed that the fresh coffee, if not better, would also do its job. But man, how wrong i was! The cappuccino is one of the worst I have in Singapore.
Jui Hong Teoh (27/08/2016 03:46)
Tucked behind our hotel on Havelock Road (Four Points) is a pedestrian bridge that crosses to the other river. Plenty of restaurants lined up the waterfront and Toby's Estate is one of them.
A great to have breakfast or brunch over the weekend while looking over the view and Toby's Estate serve the usual cafe fare: coffee, burgers and the likes.
I like the chill atmosphere and it's a pretty nice place to hang out.
Stephen Payne (13/07/2016 05:59)
Laid back atmosphere. Nice al fresco seating area looking onto Robertson Quay. Latte good, very smooth. Carrot cake delicious, very moist, full of flavour, and generous with the walnuts.
Stanley Yin (28/06/2016 08:38)
Boring coffee. For a $7 Costa Rican V60 brewed coffee, I expected something a little more flavourful, but got the equivalent of a boring McCafe americano. Place was really warm when I visited, but service was pleasant.

Good breakfast and coffee! Pricy but good food and service.
Abhinit Kumar Ambastha (07/06/2016 07:05)
Awesome place with really nice ambiance and staff. Rodyk style egg benedict can give you a mouthgasm. French toast is good too, with some pretty authentic (European style) bacon. Goto place on a Sunday afternoon after your super drunk night. Get a Gibraltar roast and have a lazy day. Priced reasonably, great place for growing a date into something special! :)
Phil Starr-Mees (05/06/2016 10:33)
Really nice venue, lots of choice on food, breakfast really tasty, view over looking Robertson Quay, really nice quiet area with outside seating under cover. I.e. Rain Sun Proof! :-)
Also really good coffee which to me is an absoulute must!
CELAB 99 (28/05/2016 09:50)
We found our coffees quite good, only a slight bitterness, just enough to bring out the flavors. The rainbow fries are quite good but they seriously undeserved on the sauce, not even 1/3 of what you will need even for light dipping. Service a little bit chaotic despite a fair number of staff and a moderate number of customers on a Saturday afternoon
