One of my favorite places to hang out...but then again, I'm a huge cuisinerd. Yes, you heard it here first! If like me you like browsing culinary hardware and it takes you to your happy place, then ToTT or Tools of The Trade is a definite "must-visit" destination for you! This is the slick retail outlet for Sia Huat, an established industry provisioner for everything you need to start and run a restaurant. The space is huge and the selections are good. I bought my first cast-iron skillet in Singapore here and the buttermilk fried chicken that came out of it was everything I remembered Southern fried delicacies to be.

Get your dinnerware and kitchen needs here. Huge place offering a vast selection of brands of cookware and kitchen needs. They are having year end sale now. Home appliances can also be found here.

I love this place because it is so convenient - directly at the entrance of King Albert Park MRT station. TOTT ( stants for Tools Of The Trade ) is a vast retail outlet selling everything you need for your kitchen, cooking or baking. Besides the retail store , they also have cooking studios, party halls and a bistro ..... drop by on a weekend for a time of dining and shopping

A lovely place to shop for presents for my foodie friends, and a treasure trove of high-quality equipment for your cooking needs. It's conveniently located next to an MRT Station (King Albert Park), and even has a bistro to rest my feet after the shopping is done. What I enjoy in particular is the convenience of being able to get my SodaStream refill exchange CO2 Cylinder from there, and the wide variety of cooking classes available. It's definitely inspiring me to want to whip out my apron and get creative in the kitchen!

Organized a group of kids to learn baking here but the manpower on their side was way too short and we have to step in to facilitate. Ingredients and the end products were good.

The very original store of ToTT. It has a wide range of variety and sometimes they have the "sales" corner which you should take note of!

You can find almost any kitchenware you are looking for. Very kind shop assistants.

My favourite 'Mee-Siam' is no longer as good - it is so diluted. I had to request for them to re-make it the last time I dine there... didn't bother to ask again. I hope someone from ToTT reading this message will look into it.

Good rebates... thus making it a worthwhile shopping experience.

Threw a birthday party here for my 4 year old and everything went very well. Guests were impressed by the activities (Bak&Go cookies) and venue (play area for younger kids + kitchenware shopping for adults). The staff were very helpful and allowed me to relax and catch up with the other parents. They also have more hands-on/difficult classes for older kids (7 and above) that are marketed as junior master chef-ish. I'm definitely coming back again either when my son is older or when his younger brother's turn comes along.

Great store, although food in bistro not soo good. Truffle fries are ridiculously overpriced and ruined by peppercorn imo...
However store is great for kitchen equipment, I came searching for Valrhona but found nothing but belcolade.

I like the angel hair pasta and egg benedict. I hope to try out the other dishes soon.

Good selection of kitchen wares.
Some are pricey.
Same co as Sia huat so some things can be found at chinatown if you are nearer there.
Selection can be better for ie: food processors.
Rather limited range and have to be sourced online for cuisinart/ breville etc.
Always good to view what is brought in.

Great selection of stuff for everyone from professional chefs to home cooks. Just be aware the prices can range considerably as well!

Had a friend's kid birthday party at ToTT. Great experience, cozy location to host events. Kids party included a baking class. Also has a store selling all your culinary needs
