Such a romantic place for dining!! Learnt that this was a chapel in the 1930s, which explains the beautiful interior. The food was also amazing. We had the 36-hour Brandt short ribs and Alaskan King Crab Tagliatelle. Portions were just right for us. The Truffle Mac and Cheese that was highly raved about was absolutely delicious!
To the team at The White Rabbit, thank you for the lovely evening. Will definitely come back again..

Had a birthday celebration dinner for my Mum at the White Rabbit and I must say Im very impressed with the service staff. They were very attentive and friendly. Extremely touched by the printed photo card that was given to my Mum for her birthday by the staff.

My first time to try this famous restaurant and I absolutely loved it. Great fine dining and reasonably priced. This is a must try restaurant

I want to talk about the medium-rare pork dish I had. Well I understand it very well that it is a new luxury dish and that it symbolises just how great of a pork meat source this restaurant has, I still think it is bad and dangerous. The menu doesn't describe the dish properly, it doesn't state in any clear and direct way that this particular pork dish will be served undercooked. I requested for it to be sent back to the kitchen and to be cooked perfectly done. But it came back to me as still undercooked. It ruined my dinner, as I couldn't bring myself to eat. The disease "trichinosis" while it's practically nonexistent in the west, a good number of cases still regularly happen in Asia, so my fear of this undercooked pork dish is legit. After all I paid my bill well. Other than this undercooked drama, the restaurant offers good food and beverages and they're well priced, except for the undercooked pork. The ambience is romantic, but maybe they can make the hall a little more cheerful, their warm lights are just a bit too dark and made the atmosphere somewhat sad. The staff is helpful but obliviously judgemental.

Came here on a Wednesday night and the restaurant was busy. Great atmosphere and service. We ordered the crab tagliatelle and the Dover sole meunière, the fish was absolutely superb - melted in your mouth and very impressively they de-boned the fish right at the table. A nice touch.
Very enjoyable and would definitely go back.

Very good staff and original location. I was very pleased to get a surprise cake for my birthday. The food was good but nothing extraordinary. A bit too much truffle everywhere to my opinion.

We tried teh slow cooked pork rib which was mind blowing. Each bite just melted in my mouth with complex flavours. I would come back just for that dish. The staff were friendly and accomodating. This place is so romantic at night. Wonderful place for dinner!

I had the slow braised pork rib which was outstanding! The meat had great flavor and each bite literally melted in my mouth. I would order that dish over and over again. They also allowed us to bring a cake since it was my birthday dinner and they happily presented it to me at the end of our meal. The service was warm and attentive. The space is just as attractive at night...highly recommend for dinner.

Attentive waitresses. Good service. Expensive meal. But hey, it's fine dining. What do you expect!

Came here full of expectations but left with great disappointment. I have to agree with saswat's review, the saving grace for this place would be the ambience and the attentive service. I really think the quality and quantity can improve for the price. If there's one thing I'll elaborate, that would be about the oxtail. When I order oxtail, I expect the dish to be wholesome and robust; Not strands of meat wrapped in pasta. Roasted strawberry streusel was both too sweet and too sour at the same time. I'll just say this is indeed a place to impress your date but it's not due to the food.

Ambience of the chapel turned restaurant is great with the lovely glass stained windows. Service here during lunch was great, attentive yet not over intruding. Food was good, tasty but nothing to shout about. Would recommend here for a nice lunch.

Amazing brunch place . We ordered the truffle Mac and Cheese and it was so good that we ordered it another 2 times. The cocktails were amazing as well.

Went for a birthday dinner celebration with my family last night. Service was extremely slow. Waited around 50mins before the 1st main course was served and staff were not very polite when we finally asked for them to follow up on our orders. As it was a birthday dinner, some arrangements were made for a cake - which never appeared in the end. Having already experienced how slow the service was, we did not even bother to follow up on the cake that had been pre-arranged. While the food and ambience wasn't bad, the experience was a rather unfortunate one with the slow service and rather disinterested staff.

Starting with the best. Ambiance is pretty romantic. Service is great. Location is also beautiful.
Not so good; taste of food & quantity for the price. Or may be my expectation was high. So yes prices are high as expected. It was close to Sgd200 for 2 of us. We had ordered 2 mains and one side, 1 wine, 1 dessert.
Nikolas Chiang (06/08/2017 06:05)
Very disappointed. Book a table for a saturday brunch in advance for a family dinner. Arriving knows that they don't have poached eggs that made half pr even more items in their menu unavailable. Absolutely inexcusable. Flawless management, owner need to concern or even replace them. Only reason we come is to try their waffles that was not available due to reason stated above!
Shayne Mathews (31/07/2017 02:20)
Went for the brunch. The food was pretty spectacular and the service was decent. The truffle Mac and cheese and the lobster sandwich was the highlight for me. The place was full but does not feel so on account of the high ceiling and embience is good as well. Adding this to my list of 'staple' brunch places.

Nice outdoor area. Excellent croque monsieurs! And even better gin.
Alejandra Leon (09/06/2017 08:54)
Overpriced, small portions, nice environment and good service. Tried their crab tagliatelle. Portion was tiny and taste was ok, nothing to rave about. Also had the tomato tart which was not bad. They serve nice warm bread which was quite nice.
JK Chow (30/05/2017 17:14)
Great meal, love the lobster toastie! One of the better truffle fries I've tried. The crepes were uniquely flavourful.
Eric Loon (13/05/2017 05:49)
Service is amazingly good. Food a little ex, but worth the money. Unfortunately the warm spinach salad came cold. Place can also use a little touch-up, aircon vents is rather mouldy.

Most romantic! Rated in chope's Diners' choice 2016. Tucked away in lush greenery of Dempsey. Comfort English food & great cocktails.
Serx Tetchan (18/03/2017 05:53)
Very classy place in an old chapel and the outdoor is decorated with the beautiful trees and lights. The rabbit hole on the backyard where you can enjoy one of the great gins gives it the final touch. Worth visiting even if you are not a big fan of gin drinks.
Bob Maxwell (11/03/2017 11:40)
Nice place. Atmosphere ok. But trying to be too clever with the gin and tonics. And it does not work.
Geumju Lee (05/03/2017 05:24)
The place was good and spacious
Good atmosphere for brunch on weekend
But the food was bit salty and the service was not great
One staff was like chasing me even though i didn't finish my drink she kept asking me if I'm done. This happened a couple of times and of course it was not pleasant experience
andreas tan (05/03/2017 05:23)
We came here for brunch and we love everything about this restaurant. The food was good, staff was attentive and the ambience is fantastic. Good selection of wine and yet it served free water. We ordered eggs Benedict, Lobster sandwich, fettuccine Carbonara and Wagyu Quarter pounder. Total bill was $120.

An Australian inspired dining experience in an old reconfigured chapel setting. Very nice interior design with the rabbit hole being just outside. Food as a whole is average.
benoit toulmé (14/02/2017 11:53)
Good service, but food is disappointing. Expensive dinner didn't meet our expectations. Overpriced even with the atmosphere.
G Lee (20/12/2016 15:01)
Boring dull looking place at night. Sorry guys. And the garden feels like unattended and simple. Two glances and you're done with the place. The songs are really bad for the event I've attended. Maybe this place is good for wedding receptions during the day. Duh.

Went for friday dinner a while back using the entertainer app but i believe it is no longer available. I remembered the food and service was very good.
Gauthier Roebroeck (10/10/2016 03:08)
Very nice place, the setting is wonderful, inside an old church. It's a bit noisy, given it's a church. The food is quite nice and not too pricey.

On August 9th, I took a group of 14 business colleagues to the White Rabbit for dinner. It was a lovely ambience in which the very tasty food was beautifully and artfully displayed. My contact Adrian, was extremely professional and responsive during our multiple emails while arranging for the evening, and he greeted our group as soon as we had arrived and were seated. The chef had prepared an amazing 5-course meal for us, and there was an amazing staff that spent the whole evening looking out for our every need. I truly wish I knew their names to thank them, because the service levels were off the charts. Our glasses were never empty, our plates were removed as soon as we finished each course, our napkins were re-folded for us if we stepped away from the table for a moment, and any special requests were immediately addressed. We had quite a few vegetarians dining with us, and their dietary needs were accounted for as well.
We started with the Salad Printemps followed by the Ranger's Valley Wagyu Carpaccio . This was followed by the Alaskan King Crab Tagliatelle and our choices for the main course were either the Sauteed Japanese Seabream or the 36-hours Brandt Short Ribs. Our final course was a Deconstructed Cheesecake.
Thank you for an amazing experience!

Superb service, excellent food and romantic ambience. Went back to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the staff remembered us.

We went to The Rabbit Hole, a gin bar in the garden at the back. Beautiful garden. Excellent collection of Gins, served with homemade tonic and creative garnishes. Service was a little iffy though (that accounts for the one missing star).
Daling Sheng (15/06/2016 06:39)
Food is great! The rabbit hole is cute! They have limited seats inside the dinning area. Make reservation before you come.
Richard Skinner (11/06/2016 12:01)
Most of the food was good. Wife's steak (ribeye) was disappointing. Thin, with gristle. Waiter was great
Gideon Ooi (31/05/2016 14:47)
surprised my girlfriend with a romantic dinner here on her birthday. The staff were excellent! I would like to commend our server Jan for the impeccable service. And as always, the food was lovely.

Good menu, great location and a charming atmosphere. Nice music with a Carrollesque decor. What you'd expect of an Alice story in Singapore.

If you want to eat in a unique environment that is a little special, then you can't go wrong visiting The White Rabbit. Set in an old church building and retaining many of the structural features it's a spacious, calm place. The menu offers broad and different choices, all prepared with skill and efficiency. Very friendly staff made for a wonderful brunch occasion. Highly recommended. Also, The Rabbit Hole shouldn't be forgotten, the cool outdoor bar and garden space. If you're partial to a G&T then do try one here, as the range of gins is vast and they make their own tonic from the garden for a very unique version of a classic drink.
