For years I have been assessing a good place to board my boy when I need to travel.
Hmm quite interesting to know this one actually assess the dogs prior check in. So I'm wondering if those dogs that can potentially hurt my boy and other dogs they will be separated? If so I will want to check this place if they really separate dogs with some degree of socialise issues.
Whether for human or fur kids, I reckon as a parent or owner, the priority of sourcing for a day care center or care taker is SAFETY.
I have checked out other places, the operators always assured me that it will be safe but I literally saw they put all the sociable n not able to socialise too well dogs together.
I wondering how can it be sure it is safe for my boy? I think it is really a good option to explore to have some kind of separation at least not just the safety of my boy but also the safety of other dogs i.e. sociable and non sociable. I believe we owners are dog lovers we won't want to see any dogs get puncture disregardless who started the episode.
Be it in the shoes of the responsible owners, operators or any products and services providers, stay vigilant is paramount; animals welfare is the priority.
I'm really concern my dog's safety. Hmm wondering if i can "volunteer" to get my boy separated in a room at an extra cost of $35. is it possible? My boy is a very sociable gentle boy though...

This is the worst place to leave your dog for boarding. First they require your dog to interact with other dogs. If your dog cannot interact they force you to take up the “special care” which is additional $35 a day!!! The special care is nothing special. It is still leaving the dog in the room!!!!

Bought our Beagle for a swim. Nice facilities and place but lack the personal touch.

The facilities are beautiful, immaculate and smell wonderful, which, given the price, is to be expected. Gary was very nice. However, they do not seem at all interested in the pets themselves (we have cats so maybe they are more into dogs). They are very focused on the money. This was the opposite experience I had with Goldie and Lab. Aaron's facilities were not as nice but he was extremely professional, cared for the animals and i had to practically beg him to get me the information to pay him AFTER my animals were returned to me. It was just too far from where we were staying temporarily so we moved them. I do not doubt that my cats are fine (especially since there is a camera you can log in and watch) but for the money, the service could be better.
