Each bowl includes a base (could be carbohydrates or greens, or beans/nuts), add cold choices (tomatoes, hummus, eggs, etc) , warm choices (corn, broccoli, etc) and a protein (chicken, veg patties, etc) add dressing and toppings, and you have a bowl of good meal.

Can get a very fast, good, nutritious, and filling meal here. Good for healthy choices, pack to go, busy executives that just want a quick meal.

Was there after 6pm, so it's not crowded at all, but I can imagine the place being packed at lunch time.

One of my favorite clean places to eat. The queuing system is a little complex as they have done away with the paper order slips. Their menu is still great and the value is there. Be warned that seats are pretty impossible to find at noon time and you have to come earlier or later if you are dining in. Watch out for their promotions as they do offer one for one dinner sets after a a certain time of the day.

Located on level 1of UOB plaza 2. The salad shop is perfect for a quick lunch. The ingredients are wholesome and fresh . Great service from staff all day

EDIT UPDATE 26/03/2018

There must have been a change of management. Disorganized and upsetting the baked sweet potatoes are completely raw inside. Total unacceptable. Running out of chicken, asking customers to wait is fine then to bring out the baked chicken and realising it's still raw. Amature.

Edit update 16/05/2018

The owner has responded to a flurry of 1 star reviews that have been left on the past 2 months. Why should we go back?

Don’t fix what’s not broken!

I’ve heard that phrase so many times and salad shop is the epitome of that. Like many voters, I would walk all the way from mbfc area to Uob plaza just to buy the salad.

Recently they changed the menu, and it’s average at best and the menu is rigid! U can’t have different sizes..

Sorry, I’m not going anymore! Expect less crowds in the future for sure

I was a huge fan of Salad Shop, and would many times make the long trek over from my office. I went there today and was very disappointed for the following reasons:
1. Doing away with paper chits in an effort to save the environment, customers can now no longer easily see what's available on the menu. Instead, they have to join an extremely long line to reach the salad bar in order for them to find out. This is a highly inefficient approach that will annoy customers waiting in line as well as customers dining at the seats near the salad bar (since they will have to squeeze for space with the long line of customers).
2. Upon reaching the salad bar, it also isn't clear what are the warm feeds and what are the cold feeds.
3. Prices have also gone up, with the previous rabbit, zebra and elephant options replaced with a single "human" option at $13. Notwithstanding the price increase, there is still a need to "top up" more money for spinach and avocado (which was previously not the case for the zebra option). In fact, there is also a decrease in the number of items that one can pick. The variety of items has also been very severely reduced.
4. While one might justify the price increase for better quality items, this cannot be said about Salad Shop. I had the curried cauliflower and it was undercooked. The spinach with egg white was revolting. The pesto sauce looked more oil than pesto.
Needless to say, I will not be coming back. It is a shame given that Salad Shop was my favourite salad joint. Perhaps the owners at Salad Shop should bear in mind the saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Why the change ? Everything before was great, we came every day. All the changes are for the worst. Unfortunately you've just lost 2 very regular customers

This was my favourite salad place, and it was closed for the last few days stating that they are working on a new menu. Finally it's opened today, but to my disappointment, not sure if anyone else feels the same, it's not organised and staff is blurred, as she does not even know what the customers can choose. There is no menu, and price is not indicated anywhere in the shop, and number of toppings is also not stated. When it's my turn, there is only three dishes to choose from, and after i make my selection, the kitchen staff serves another dish. So at any point in time, you will not know what is the spread and what is available. Last but not least, price has increased tremendously. I used to pay $10 for a zebra feed size salad, and now there is only one feed, that is the human feed, and it is $13.
Overall, the experience is lousy, as there is not much change in the menu, variety is restricted, and the price increase is significant.

Fantastic options, simple and clean premises

Takeaway salad with falafel - great quality salad (delicious vegetables and very happy about recycled container) but falafel are so dry they're inedible... given there's not much else in terms of protein options for vegetarians/vegans, please sort the falafel out!

A nice place to have a quick bite. I like that you can choose your own or get the regular. It is similar to salad stop.

They have a very wide variety of toppings. Had a hard time choosing actually. Chose blue cheese dressing. Nice. You can either take away or sit down and eat there. It's facing the Singapore river and lunch time is really crowded.

My favourite salad shop. Nice variety of items to choose from! Service is systematic and pretty quick for how crowded it gets.

Anna Roberts (20/04/2017 05:13)
Delicious but 50% of the time they get your order wrong! Check before you leave if taking away

Kai Wee Soh (14/04/2017 10:12)
Love the food. So sad that they removed warm baby potatoes as a base =(

One of my favourite lunch salad shops. Varieties varieties choices choices luv them.

Don't get the concept. Slow service though many staff. Salad average, huge pieces, should consider chopping them up for easy dining. Won't come again.

Hilda Cheong (14/11/2016 00:47)
One of my Favourite salad stops! Wide range of options that are fresh and tasty!

Sasi Emőke (26/07/2016 06:15)
Good salads, and now they also start to serve three different kind of warm lunch. It is a side and meat with healthy salad for 10 sgd. I think it worth it.

Nhu Nguyen (17/07/2016 10:47)
Decent salad with a wide range of ingredients for you to select. The portion is ok, but the price does not come cheap. For 8bucks, you get a salad with NO meat inside. It costs much more to add meat.
