Amazing special place! This is a hidden gem! You wouldn't be able to find the conventional kind of Hollywood movies here, mostly indie films. The movie theater has a very old school yet interesting vibe.. The overall experience was fun and unique!

A wonderful place to relax and to absorb the vibes. Cakes tastes great from the intermission bar and the cinemas are retro and comfy. Would recommend cinephile to visit this place to get out of the conventional Golden Village or Cathay cinemas in Singapore.

Interesting place that consists of a bar and snooker table, drinks in a "club" like atmosphere; which upon entering a small door is an old school cinema of not so comfy chairs and relatively tight leg space. Films that they show there seems more artsy/hipster-ish than usual. Seems like a great place for people to watch films and discuss it over a beer outside(like way outside maybe).

I love the place! Always great selection of movies from around the world, nice bar, sometimes with live music (I loved the Havana social club night with salsa) - cool bar outside of the cinema as well, not very crowded, hope it'll remain a secret :-)

This vintage theater is definitely a unique hidden gem amongst the typical commercially sterile modern cinemas today. Its hip, artsy look and casual vibe provide a welcoming oasis for the cinephile to enjoy new and old art house/indie films in. The only unfortunate caveat is that the narrow aisles and tiny, stiff theater seats are EXTREMELY uncomfortable and a tight squeeze, especially for those who are taller or like to slouch into their seat and stretch their legs. This can really hinder your comfort levels and challenge your inhibitions when you want to be able to clear your mind to fully immerse yourself into the types of thought-provoking and visually stimulating films that play here.

One of my favourite places in Singapore. A very chilled environment and a fantastic line-up of films throughout the year, with special events constantly happening on weekends and weekday evenings. The Great Escape (carpark/rooftop bar) is also an awesome place to chill and have a drink with friends.

Always love hanging out here, whether it's watching a random movie or enjoying the varied music at the intermission bar! From Latin music to drum beats - the projector has it all!
PS the karaage is also delicious

Had a wonderful time enjoying a great movie in the projector with my partner. One thing that wasnt too comfortable was their seats. Their seats cushion was a little thin. To sit on that for the duration of a movie might not be the most comfortable thing. But if you take away the chairs, the feeling of being in the oldies movie theater will be taken away as well. I would probably suggest a thicker cushion but other than that, a wonderful place to enjoy your movies.

Loving the vibes and the concept!! Its nice to see how this old space flipped into a funky hideout in Singapore. Definitely not your usual weekend at the cinema. This is the place to go if you want a cider and a cheesy toast right outside the screening room! They also screen a wide array of films :)
I was surprised to find the coolest percussion band playing at the bar area when I finished my movie yet not hearing a single thing during it.

Your auditorium could do with a facelift. Also, the space between seats is very little. Experienced people stepping on my toes.
It would be a good idea to do away with free seating so that we don't have to rush to the theater extra early in order to get good seats.
Your restroom is excellent. I found it very clean.

As you enter, feel free to put aside your expectations of going to your average cinema aside, as the Projector tries to transport you to a different world in its own style. Ever heard of an inviting and cozy theater these days? Neither have I... that is, until I had visited. The projector puts a spin on the entire movie watching experience, some of which include providing couches and bean bags for your movie-watching comfort. Quite a different experience.
