A lovely museum, and the multi-hyphenated museum curator, Peranakan owner bring this place alive. The haven of collectables is alive with his explanation into the history, culture and lifestyle of the Peranakan. Highly recommended for those who are keen to know more about Alvin, his story and traditions of the Peranakan.

A great stop; well worth leaving the more congested tourist parts of the city. Learn not just about Peranakan Culture, but gain a better understanding of Singapore and the relationship between it's different groups. Highly recommended.

This is a place not to miss, if you are keen to appreciate the Peranakan Culture. For the first time, i got a glimpse into their living days, on what makes them significant. Walking into the intan, is a walk back in time, hosted by the Peranakans themselves. Great stuff!

The first time I arrived at the house, I was told that I had to make an appointment. Silly me!
I happily booked a slot to visit the museum and had an amazing time learning about the Peranakan Culture.
A must-visit in Singapore!
