Cheap. Only RM25/night on weekdays. Room is spacious with twin big single beds with clean fresh linen. Everything in room in good condition, ie not old or faulty. Like most hotels in Indonesia, smoking is allowed so the whole place stinks a bit of stale tobacco.
The room floor was cleaned promptly of some sand after i advised the reception.
Has coffee n tea making facilities in room.
Hotel is a little isolated, not close to nightlife but it is good for relaxing by reading Facebook n competing in gokart. Foodcourts nearby do not offer much, except beer. Heineken can is 20,000 rupiah.

New hotel. Beach side. Far from down town. Not so experienced staff. But their room is clean.

Simple,value for money.just out of way from shopping belt.anyway there is no much thing to shop in Batam

Small and cosy. Seems to be a 2 by 5m room. Ideal location; peaceful yet convenient. With go-kart entertainments, rest-stop convenience stores, marts and restaurants, all within walking distance.
Abt a 10-min ride away from nagoya. Maybe the reason why their service was excellent - not many customers for them to entertain. I estimate only 3 to 5 rooms of the whole hotel was occupied during our stay here. They were able to come up to check on the room 5 minutes within us giving them feedback. Came here on a wednesday to thursday. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Great in taste, and quality. Again and just maybe because of the low demand.
Points to improve on:
👏 Toilet started off with just 1/4 to 1/3 roll. Lasted throughout the 2 days with that.
👏 Aircon felt like it was 26°C despite turning it on 16°C throughout the night; not exaggerating.
👏 Breakfast buffet's bowl of shredded chicken at the porridge station had a fat and alive housefly that stayed there throughout our stay.
👏 Few customers, so much food! Not whining over this, just thought it's a waste for them, doing business, and for the environment.

Very bad experienced.air con in room is not cool,set water to cold and turns hot,set to hot turns to cold on shower tap.food on restaurant is totaly lousy especially breakfast.unprofessional chef.staffs (front office,housekeeping) is lack of their responsibility.

My family went there last week for a short trip we needed to stay one more night so we booked thought an online agent but something went wrong which our booking was been canceled so I approached the front desk I thought they will ignore me but I was surprised Jenny from the golden bay hotel reservation department partiently listed to me n went all the way to help me to call n email n went though 120% on my issue I was so glad n happy 😊 with service . Here I will like to say a big thank you to her

Golden Bay Hotel was a package with JE Travel for 2D1N Batam trip. JE Travel out of goodwill provided me with 2 rooms specify connecting rooms. There was some misunderstanding regards to my rooms with the Agency or the Agency to the Hotel. Hotel management apologise to the miscommunication and give us fruit platter and keep on saying sorry to us. I will like to compliment on the manager for their service and their sincere apologies.
