I with my wife had horrible experience ! Flush in basin not working. Rest room lock not working. Window was half broken. Staff was not good even they were not provided one dish which we ask for snacks we brought from our home. Completely waste of money.

Budget hotel.Go for room with 2 beds if you are a couple.located near Little India.

I have been in this hotel for a week and these are my observations regarding their performance:
1) The rooms were half-damaged and the furniture along with the tiles on the floor were very old.
2) The housekeeping staff is very unruly. They neither maintain the rooms nor helpful.
3) The television did not work and when I asked the receptionist about this, she did not respond.
4) There were an enormous swarm of insects like cockroach, they came from
vent and from below the beds.
5) The air-conditioner did not work and there were no fans in the rooms, so we need to keep the windows open.
6) The complimentary breakfast that they offered was very bland and they served no water at the breakfast hall.
7) The Wi-Fi was very slow. It was not child-friendly. They had no car parking facilities.
8) However, on the bright side, the hotel was located in the heart of Little India with easy access to shopping centres and the MRT station.

We stayed in this hotel about 10 days family with 3 kids. Rooms were good. daily cleaning was there. Sleep was comfortable. Good Ventilation for room. MRT , bus stops are very nearby. Shopping centers are close by. Breakfast menus are repeated. but its OK. Wifi is very good..Iron box they can provide to rooms. we requested 2 days, then we got for 2 hours. Overall complete value for money. we booked through Agoda got good discount also. Good budgetary hotel. Can go for it !...

The Claremont Singapore Hotel is a budget hotel offering cozy rooms with complete amenities. it is located in the heart of Little India, Singapore’s shopping and heritage district. It is also directly opposite Mustafa Centre, the mega shopping mall renowned for its wide range of electronics and other consumer items.

Price was relatively cheaper and family rooms were quite big. They allowed more people in one room than usual which helped me. They also sell 5 litre water bottles for $2 which was a great help! But later I learned tap water was drinkable.

Its a third rate hotel in Singapore.. There is no room cleaning, no drinking water, no room boys nothing.. They are providing complementary break fast but even the chef cant eat what he prepared.. On one day, there was no vegetarian dish available for the break fast n all veggies went out n had their paid breakfast..The hotel receptionist is the other third rate one.. They always behave like as if this is the only one Hotel in Singapore n they are the best.. Room is full of bugs, lice, coackroaches etc.. I had a horrible stay here!!!

They don't even deserve that 1 star. The hotel is very dirty and full of bugs. There are cockroaches everywhere. The staffs are okay, except for that reception lady who puts a lot of makeup, but still doesn't look good. Sorry, not sorry. She is stupid, arrogant and rude. Just wanted to punch her in the face. The food is okay. But, bugs bugs and bugs. Don't stay at this hotel.

Average hotel at city centre. Cramped rooms typical Singapore.. not clean as you expect for their Tariff. Very unkind staff on 25th mid night. Not a good experience...

First and foremost, I would like to give some feedback on my Stay in that hotel.
I am very pleased with the hotel location and amenities( mrt/foodcentre/shopping mall) are all within walking distance. This is a bonus.
One day, I expressed my unpleasantness and the receptionists willingly to help me to resolve the matter despite the busy workload at that moment. I appreciated it. My special thanks to Natasha and Hamzah for their warmth and concern.
However, on the contrary..I have noticed that the condition of the hotel room is unhygienic. There were cockroaches in the room. To my great shock, I found one near the boiler. This is unacceptable.
Secondly, the air conditioner functionally fine but Temperature could not be adjusted despite there is temp control.
Television?? Bad reception. I have tried to call for Maintenance but to no avail. Wifi? Weak connection.
Fridge is dirty.
Subsequently, the toilet condition is not up to standard unlike we see the picture through the website. For example, broken tiles, toilet accessories are not in gd condition, etc.
I am pretty sure other guests have similar experience or maybe worst.
Sincerely, I hope that the staff takes the feedback seriously so that hotel conditioncan be improved. With that, it can further enhance pleasant experience for the guests in the future.

Air con noice a lot. Breakfast was pathetic and daily they serve same breakfast.
Hotels include free water bottle but staff refused to give bottle because agonda has advertised wrongly as per hotel staff.
Staff is very friendly and collaborative.

Pros :
Location is very good.
Very nearer to the farrer park mrt.
Just opposite to Komalas veg restaurant.
10 min walk to little India shopping area.
1 min walk to mustafa shopping centre.
A Good budget hotel.
Cons:
Wifi signal to the rooms is very poor. Cleanliness just ok.
AC in the rooms also just ok.
Morning continental breakfast doesn't include any fruits In the menu.

The hotel Claremont is one of the dirtiest hotel I've ever booked. There were no clean rooms, cockroaches were there, floor was dirty with hair stick on it. It is highly recommended not to book it if you are in Singapore.

Cleaniness should be required more...you can find cockraches in room, bathroom and even cafeteria also...hotel is near by little india....they only serve South Indian food in breakfast....room service is horrible....bad experience...

The hotel economical and provides complimentary breakfast too.Its at a centre place everything' is readily available...best is Mustafa is just stones throw....and the Square Mall...it has appetising street food available of Korea, Indonesia etc.

We stayed recently in The Claremont Hotel Singapore for one week. We were somewhat apprehensive about this hotel considering lot of negative reviews on Internet, but we did not find anything so bad. Please note this is a budge hotel and expectation should be for budget hotel only. Booked via goibibo and got a good discount. Biggest advantage of the hotel is the location, right next to Farrer Park MRT and very near to 24/7 Mustafa Centre. Another good thing is complimentary breakfast. Breakfast is average but you at least have something before going out. Family room was big with two queen beds and enough space for keeping luggage etc. Limited number of channels in TV, still couple of cartoon channel did the trick for our kids. Wi-Fi was excellent in our room. Bathroom was clean, bath soap and shampoo were provided. Only problem with the bathroom was the gradient of the floor, water outlet was on wrong side. Sleep was peaceful and we did not have any complaint as such. They gave us an early check in which was greatly helpful after a tiring journey. Mostly Indian tourists are staying here and you will find some Indian items included in the complimentary breakfast. Good number of Indian restaurants nearby, next door Sitara Restaurant was offering 20% discount for The Claremont Hotel guests.

Room rent is reasonable. But a/c disturbs. Staffs and reception people need to be well mannered. Sadly I did not find them well mannered.

This hotel is by far the worst experience I've had so far.
If there some sort of clean and hygiene factor required by hotels; this should definitely be shut. Do not go by the pictures posted on their website. Everything is old, dinghy and definitely looks like the sheets have not been changed.
My family and I had gotten 3 rooms for 3 nights. We barely stepped into our room when we realized we didn't want to stay there. So we immediately decided to check out. They told us that we would be reimbursed for 2 nights. After 3 months of asking for a refund, they finally got back to us with an email saying they would not refund the money.
Terrible place, and terrible service. Would not recommend to anyone.

Reasonably priced.
Pros:
1.Very close to many indian restaurants.
2. Location: Exactly opp. Mustafa Center(you can get any thing, any brand, best rates, very big probably if you didn't find some thing means it may not exist)
Cons:
1. Interiors need a facelift.
2. Lot of cockroaches, carry your own HIT.
3. No drinking water provided.
Suggestions:
1.Breakfast need to be improved a lot.
2.Immediate pest control to be done.

The bathrooms aren't clean and need maintence. There are bugs everywhere and mostly in the shower. The TV is broken as well along with the window handles. The beds are terrible to sleep on. The cotton is rough and the pillows, hard. As we speak, I just killed an ant that was crawling on my pillow. The breakfast is cold and undercooked. They have a frigde but that's dirty as well. Nothing about this hotel is good. The rooms are smelly and dirty. Honestly, if I could give it a zero star rating, I would. Please do not be fooled by the pictures on Google. They are outdated like this hotel.

This hotel right in front of the Mustafa Shopping center that open 24 hrs! Quite cheap for the price and they provide free breakfast for the guest.. Actually I did't really enjoy the breakfast here, but that's okay because you paid what you get right? The room is clean and the staff here is helpful.

All in all, terrible!!
Rooms were smelly and dark, it looked like the bathroom was not cleaned at all as there was several bandages stuck to the wall!
Beds felt like you were sleeping on sandpaper, the cotton is so rough that it's like sleeping on -1000 thread count. Beds filled with dust mites too and we woke up feeling un-refreshed and itching all over.
TV had poor reception and the signal kept dropping out so we could not watch anything.
Wi-Fi was slow and almost unusable.
No proper place to place and open your bags! So annoying as it was hard to get clothes out of our bags.
Bottom line, we wanted to move out after the first night but we had to endure for another night.....
