It is 1 of the air-conditioned shopping malls along Orchard road where tourists often visit when come to Singapore for shopping. Various variety of shops and eateries can be found here.

Its facade has a wheelchair friendly pavement. Wheelchair bound persons use the ramp to enter the building. It has also a lift. The Centrepoint has various food stalls offering Singaporean food that are perfect for tourists living at the Orchard Road and near the area.

OK shopping mall... although I don't like it when the mall owners configure the escalators so that you MUST around and around and be paraded in front of the "premium" placed shops.
I know that sell those places to vendors on the basis of extra foot traffic, but I'm bothered by having my attention sold as a product without direct compensation (and in this case, there's NO compensation), just a football fields-worth of forced marching to get up and down from the top floor.

One of the shopping malls in Somerset - Orchard area. Love how the shops are arranged and the interconnection between malls in this area. The taxi stands are easy to find. You can reach here ny one of the MRT exits.

Centrepoint is a 'veteran' mall along the Orchard Road belt, probably about 40 years old. It used to be the 'in' place in its hey days but now it's in a semi-retired mode. Centrepoint has been trumped by other bigger and more exciting malls nearby in the last 10 years at least. It went through a revamp a few years back and now they have increased the number of eateries. The former Robinson's Department Store has been replaced by Metro.
Within Centrepoint, there's a mishmash of shops like a small Times Bookstore on the 4th level, Cold Storage at B1, Guardian Pharmacy, a few apparel shops, Starbucks, Coffee bean and Tea Leaves just to name a few.
I guess due to the competition from other newer and more exciting malls along Orchard Road, Centrepoint is merely existing as it has lost its shine since a decade ago at least.

Very interesting place that brings many memories to the shoppers who have been there many years ago!
Good location around the long stretches of Orchard Road to Somerset and with good and big departmental store Metro occupied few stories and many other different shops!
Many restaurant and eateries and even a more reasonable price Food Street / Food Court at the basement and with a Cold Storage supermarket there and other interesting small eateries !
Few decades has gone by and delighted that Centre Point maintain its charms and still vibrant !

It is a well known shopping complex as it has been established for many years. Besides Metro shopping centre, there is a Cold Storage at Basement 1 and fast food shops like subway, MacDonald...etc in it.
There are also restaurants and other well-known branded shops in the complex.
No problem for customers who drive as there is a 6-storey carpark.
No worry about toilets as there are restrooms for male and female at each floor.

Nothing different about this .. especially since this is on Orchard Street which is filled with malls. This month the mall had a star wars special, which is what attracted me to go here... outside of this there are good number of shopping clothes Starbucks coffee shops etc in the Mall

One of the older Malls in Singapore that added floorspace a number of years ago. Simple floor layout fir ease of navigation and has a spacious feel. Robinsons Departmental store and Cold Storage supermarket have been an anchor tenant for as long as I can remember. Reasonably good selection of restaurants and eateries.

One of the oldest mall in Singapore. Back during my school days, this mall is so called a gangster mall, the kids that hang around here called themselves centre point kids. Now the mall has been revamped and it's a total refreshing when I step inside the mall. Gone are days of those boring shops there.

I have seen Centrepoint evolved through the years. Foot falls have some what decreased but this makes the shopping experience more pleasant. Mix of tenants is better now.

Many more food outlets after the major renovation. Ate at the Crystal Jade Kitchen in a Sunday afternoon. Food was of a high standard as usual. Car park though was surprisingly full even though the mall did not seem to be that crowded.

Good Mall with good variety of shops. Easy link to Orchard Central as well.

Sheltered parking. Lots of food and shopping. Assortment of shops. E.g spectacles, clothes, coffee etc.
Annie Lim (25/08/2017 03:24)

I had lunch at ASTON but left my paper file behind when I left. I could not found it even though I rushed back to the shop about an hour later. Only with my friend working nearby help and the helpfulness of their staff Mr Tay then I know the file was found in the thrast. I think it is helpful if the restaurant can have a lost&found section for the careless clients like me.

Must try Henri Charpenter while you are near Orchard Central. Their Financiers is one of the best in Japan and whole Asia, beside serving the fresh Hokkaido cream.
Julien (09/07/2017 14:20)
Still kinda quiet compared to other malls but at least they have some new food options.
Jimmy Toh (15/06/2017 01:55)
Good place to shop and have dinners with family. Parking is convenient and cheaper than other malls along the same stretch of Orchard Road.

My first visit to the newly renovated shopping centre. Well done. I like the new location of taxi stand, decreasing congestion along Orchard Road. Wish the shopping mall success.

On the heart of Orchard Road this old mall in its new refurbished look is awesome with a wide array of dinning.
Jeremy Tan (19/03/2017 16:12)
This mall suffers from relatively poorer traffic in Orchard because it isn't connected directly to the train station, and is not integrated as well with adjoining buildings, unlike the shopping malls on the opposite side of the road (Orchard Central + 313 + Gateway). Rainy days are also discouraging.
There are quite a number of great food options, but the mall has a dumb layout; the food options are all at the back of the mall, and the mall is split into two separate sections. It is nearly impossible to simply walk and manage to "browse" through all the food options. You should rely on a directory instead.

Good place to shop. duplex apartments are really good which are above the maal if you want to get a nice place to stay in Singapore . can accommodate 12 15 people easily.
Dylan Tan (28/01/2017 06:56)
The mall went into a major revamp and with much delay most of the shop are operating. The greatest improvement is the link shops and remove the dead ends. Now there links way to shops behind are filled with F&B outlets. Escalators are found in the middle of Malls linking all the F&B outlets.
Now shoppers can explore the shops behind that are usually forgotten.
Zane Ma Rhea (25/01/2017 17:13)
It used to be a great place to shop but is now really over-shadowed by being on Orchard Road with so many shopping options. Still has some good shops and the supermarket has gluten free foods.

1st time visit. Was here to meet my hubby for dinner.
So didnt explore much. But i was surprised with the variety of food options here.
Mall was newer than I expected it to be. Looks old from the outside.
Less crowded, which I totally love.

This place use to be cool and vibes with crowd on weekdays or weekend during 80s before 2005. After renovation and relocated of store and some decided to leave. Now this place feels like a dead mall less crowd and some store is vacant (empty). How long more can this iconic mall will last. Only time will tell.

Love the wide range of eateries the mall has after the renovation. Its location is at quieter stretch of Orchard-Somerset, i.e. away from the bustling crowds. Very convenient too as it is just a 5 minutes walk from the train station

After renovation, it's so much better with a lots of dining option. One of the quiet spot along the orchard shopping belt. I like it less busy here.
Ee Ling Guay (14/08/2016 05:25)
Pokémon aplenty here ;) Apart from that, quite a good mix of eateries and shops although the layout of the mall is a bit confusing. I also liked the place better when it was Robinson's.
Kelvin Seet (07/07/2016 10:45)
Interesting new interior but many shops still not opened. Good food is available though.
Michael Cheng (04/07/2016 01:56)
This was THE place to go when I was a teen in the late 80s. Now it's the place NOT to go, especially after their chief tenant, Robinsons, moved out. That was the heart and soul of this mall. Now, it's just a souless eyesore in Orchard Rd.
Rosie Rossmawati (23/05/2016 16:36)
omg!! Nothing to shop here. Robinson is out. Mothercare is out.
Jude Lee (11/05/2016 05:23)
Looks like a lot of eateries are opening here. Part of the place is still under renovation. Went to Honolulu Cafe which opened yesterday but it was so crowded, so went to Dapur Penyet and had a nice Indonesian lunch. Shopping-wise, the place seems quite boring.

Nice mall. But not too big mall
