Amazing place with great selection of teas and snacks. The staff will sit with you and explain the proper way to experience and serve the tea. Great place if you fancy spending a catch up with friends with a difference.

This teahouse has been around for a very long time. Queen Elizabeth II has visited this place, so you know you are in good hands. Spacious seating arrangements with a good variety of tea leaves and snacks. Knowledgeable and helpful staff.

A nice quiet tea shop where one can learn about the history of tea and how to conduct a Chinese tea ceremony. One can also purchase tea leaves of various types and the paraphernalia for a proper tea ceremony to be conducted at home. The tea leaves are of higher quality and therefore more expensive but the tea that is brewed from them are fragrant and the taste is exquisite.

A great place to chill, relax and catch up with friends. Love the ambience and tea varieties available. Will definitely be back again. Reason why they didn’t get 5 stars from me is because they close too early at 930pm. We only enjoyed our tea for 20 mins as we just stepped in after dinner at abt 9pm. Would be back again and will definitely be earlier to spend more time to enjoy the tea longer.

Popped in after a heavy lunar new year meal in kreta ayer. Within walking distance. People serving here were well trained in tea appreciation. Very courteous. Enjoyed the after dinner tea. Good place for gathering and chit chatting.

Being a frequent visitor to Singapore I have walked by this shop on numerous occasions but always in a rush to get somewhere else. Today I had the pleasure of finally stopping in and I was not disappointed. While I didn't have time to sit for tea upstairs in their charming team room I did a bit of shopping in their main level shophouse. This place is a cultural gem, run by warm, friendly, passionate, people and offering a truly unique selection of high quality tea. I learned so much in such a short period. Even if you don't love tea this place is an absolute must visit for anyone who appreciates history and culture and it's a great place to pick up a unique gift for someone who would appreciate their offerings.

Great tea and setting. Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. I joined a friend who was waiting for me, and I was immediately informed we must now spend the minimum $8 per person (on tea alone, food doesn't count). 10 minutes after ordering our second tea, we were informed that the top floor was closing in half an hour!
We suggested we could continue drinking our tea downstairs, but they said we would have to restart our $8 each minimum!
Ended up cancelling our second tea order and just paid the minimum and left. Great ambience ruined by terrible service.

A nice cosy place to gather friends for mindfulness tea drinking. It fills up your body, mind and soul. $8 per person spending is required and for a session of 2 hours. Staff are friendly to assist with tea making procedures.

Definitely coming back again.

I chose the partitioned room with a view (currently of a tall protective wall due to a construction going on) where Queen Elizabeth sat with her husband 27 years ago and ordered the same tea they had - the Imperial Golden Cassia - which is a light Oolong tea, accompanied with 2 Tea eggs, an order of caramelized nuts and an order of the Mini Bao Platter. ... soooo worth it!

Really lovely place to stop for an hour or two and experience a proper tea ritual. We started with just some white tea but then got some nibbles... Dumplings and such things. Staff were all very nice, very good service, they really couldn't do enough for you!

Friendly staff and nice ambience. 4 person (with min spending of $32), 1 selection of aged black tea, ended with bill of $41.20 after all the extras. Stayed 2 hours from 830pm till 1030pm until close, enough for 2 rounds of tea making. There was good guidance on tea making from the staff, puts you at ease right away.

Really beautiful and pleasantly tranquil place to have traditional Chinese tea with friends. The tea master is funny and kind and will show you how to perform a traditional tea ceremony. It was really educational! It was a bit pricey though. Cover charge is 5 SGD/pax and every person has to spend 8 SGD on tea (so the total amount for the teas you must purchase is 8 SGD x # of people). I thought it was totally worth it for the experience.

Quite, soothing atmosphere. I haven't had such collection of teas and in such a traditional Chinese setting. Oh, and they have cards & boardgames too.

Great experience, all around. Definitely do the educational tea class, well worth it. I love loose leaf tea, but now I know how much I've been missing out!
