Excellent and friendly service. And apparently the club/group of people that hangs around there, are mainly MTB-ers. So if you’re new to MTB, the mechanic there especially, knows their stuff well and will present to you reasonable bike models that doesn’t cost too much. You can also ask around the group of MTB-ers for their opinion as well, as majority of their bikes were bought from there. If you’re looking for a non pricey bike, GIANT is the right choice compared to other brands such as Scott or Cannondale

Nice boss and staff, no problems with my sale. I crashed my bike the first day I got it and sent it back, and they inspected it for free for me

Awful service and very expensive. This is the shop at Bukit Timah road. I went in to get 4 bearings replaced on my Giant Trance 2 i had purchased from them. They did not have the bearings but quoted $300 to change all the bearings. I only wanted 4 changed so i asked them to press out the four i needed and i would get the 4 bearings else where. While there i spent $450 plus in their shop on other things. The sulky faced mechanics do not look you in the eye and hardly speak to you. I found the bearings and returned there to have them pressed in. I could have gone to any other bike shop but as they were nice enough to remove the bearings for free i was happy to pay a reasonable rate have the new ones pressed in. We agreed a rate of $50 which was steep but i figured maybe it included the price of the removal as well. When i picked it up the price had increased to $80 and extra $30 of the removal. This kind of price gauging is unconscionable and i will never spend another cent at this shop. The staff attitude was take it or leave we don't need or want your custom. I would urge anyone thinking of purchasing anything from this store to choose another option. Their to big to fail attitude may well cause them to eat humble pie.

Buying a S$100k from a car dealer.
I think I look much poorer than the young n short sales girl at Tay Cycle n hence the poor treatment.
If that sales person is the boss of the shop then I got nothing to say but she is an employee! So, either she does not want to hv the job or she wants to see Tay's biz fail. Choose one...!
I went to Bikes n Bites instead n was treated so differently despite me being a stranger n walk-in customer.
Was treated with respect despite my "poor" status n was introduced to several high-end bikes.
I wld rather spend my hard-earned money at Bikes n Bites.
Paul, David, Alicia n Dion of Bikes n Bites all deserved praise for a fantastic customer service.
Tay Cycle really got to buck up!!

despite hearing many negative reviews about Tay Cycle, i still decided to head down to their shop at Bukit Timah to purchase a brake rotor as it was nearer to my home.
after installing the rotor on the bike, the rotor was running against my pad, thus decided to bring it to the shop and get it checked.
Before ratifying the issue, the boss gets agitated and started shouting "are you saying my product is defective!, all my products are in good working condition and the problem must be you!"
Extremely poor customer service attitude. Avoid this shop at all cost!
