Exceptional location that is connected to all parts of Singapore via train or bus. Near to shopping belt and business hub that make biz and leisure trip a ease. Great service and friendly staff

Nice clean hotel, room a good size and well equipped. Hotel facilities are good and staff friendly and helpful. Taxi ride from airport was $21 and took about 30 mins, easy to get to.

Ellenborough Marketplace is one of the top buffet restaurants around in my opinion. Food is consistently good, service always prompt. Think they've raised the price (?), but it remains a prime choice.

5 stars all the way, can not fault a single thing about this hotel. Perfect location, fantastic food, the most amazing staff who would go beyond what they had to in making sure you were comfortable and enjoying your stay. The hotel was immaculate as was the room we stayed in that had gorgeous views...I can't wait to go back and stay again.

For such an expensive hotel I was expecting more. There is a balcony but the ledge is pretty high and the area is small, it's more like a smoking corner.
There was no bathtub. I have seen better hotel that is more worth the price.

Definitely was valuable.
I recommend you to book through the hotel website, it was the cheapest option.
The hotel is located three metro stations from Garden by the Bay but in central area.
The breakfast was very good with many choices and the service was great.
There is just one "problem" - the bed was so perfect that we almost weren't able to get out of the bed.
I recommend to stay there.

Place is really nice. Room quality and service ia great. Breakfast is fantastic and best of all location is great. A stone throw away from clarke quay so you get the best of location without the noise.. and a stunning view from the room. Recommended to stay here!

Great hotel. Nice rooms and facilities. Very helpful employees. Super divers and nice breakfast. Normal rate for Singapore (comparable to Switzerland).

Large restaurant very good breakfast people from all over the world so good choice of food. Large rooms with big walk in shower.
Located just across from Clarke Quay which looks like it's full of nightclubs & restaurants but thought it looked like an under 30's place. Half hour easy walking to the waterside area.
Hotel just across the road from a good shopping mall.

Clean, great location, and very excellent service. Try to get a room overlooking the pool and river if you can. Wide selection of foods at the on-site restaurants, and a reasonable selection for in-room dining.

Great place to stay for a trip to Singapore. The building staff and rooms are great, with a keen attention paid to the details. Our room overlooked the Singapore River and had a great view of the lights of the city. A particularly nice surprise was when the building staff brought a small cake to my room because they somehow figures out I was celebrating my birthday. During the day you're a quick cab ride from the main business centers of the city so great for getting business done. If you're here for pleasure, you're right across the river from the bars and restaurants at Clarke Quay (one minute walk from the building) and a short walk from a number of other popular sites.

I was greeted with good service from the point I was dropped off at the drop off point by the hotel concierge. The lunch buffet had a great spread of food and the waiters at the cafe were professional. Overall a 4 out of 5 stars because I was only there for lunch and could experience the whole hotel.

Had to wait >6 hours for our room to be prepared, but apart from that everything has been no less than excellent. Service, food selection (for breakfast) and the room has been wonderful. Would definitely return if I were to come back to Singapore in the future.

Attended a wedding dinner at their ballroom. Great ballroom, no pillars, big area for more than 25 tables were not at issue. Food wise, to my surprise it tasted better than a few other hotels I been to. Serving size was plenty for 10 of us. Would recommend couples to check it out.

Visited the Ellenborough Market Cafe for a buffet dinner. The Peranakan spread is indeed very refreshing and delicious! The desserts offering was also very extensive. Impressive buffet with a strong local/regional flavor. Service was also friendly and impeccable.

Nice and relaxed place with great ambience. The food was excellent and had a good spread of dishes over various cultures and cuisines, which were exceptionally well presented. My group enjoyed it very much and we are highly likely to return here for our future events, if any.

Very good location for exploring the city. Clark Quay just around the corner and every major attraction within in a 15 minute taxi drive. The family room we had wth our kids was a little bit old fashioned and the food and service at the pool bar was not so good. So only 4 stars....
JJ Soh (03/08/2017 14:02)
The afternoon tea was a pleasant delight with a sweet Asian touch to it. The ambience was nice, so was the food and service. Overall a definite place to recommend to all who wants a taste of Singapore style afternoon tea.
Zach Kellogg (22/06/2017 08:32)
Everything here has been excellent. The amenities are gorgeous and the rooms are kept clean and smelling nice. The turn down service is always on top of their game. The breakfast in the morning is amazing with a very wide range of food. The location is excellent as well and there is always a taxi ready for pickup. A great hotel all around!
Timothy Reutter (19/06/2017 11:33)
Excellent hotel. The pool was nice and there was a nice restaurant in the hotel. Location is great, the MRT station is very close. I would definitely stay here again without a doubt.
Andrew McGlynn (29/05/2017 13:41)
The hotel is a chic modern hotel. The service is efficient and the restaurants are really high quality. The rooms are spacious and I had an excellent view of the marina. The hotel is directly attached to the subway and the city is very easy to navigate from here.

Excellent hotel that deserves to be rated 5 stars. Has a swimming pool with 2 water slides, friendly staff who works efficiently and are courteous, fast room service and very clean rooms. Will recommend this hotel to all tourists. Will definitely come back here for staycation again.

Been staying at this hotel for 15 years. Started at once a year now twice a year. For 3 weeks each time. Would not stay anywhere else. Worth the 13 1/2 hour flight. Rooms very clean . Staff are lovely and really do treat us like family. Wide range food for breakfast. Close to MRT. So travel made easy and cheap . Next to Singapore river at Clarke quay where there are plenty of eating places and comes alive at night.

Good and adequate facilities. Clean room and linen. Nice breakfast. Most important, very near to metro station and other public transport facilities. Get a good deal to enjoy your time in Singapore!
Xavier Depouilly (18/02/2017 14:54)
Loved it although on very short business trip there.
Rooms are provided with free smartphone to use locally during the stay : very useful.
Staff are really nice and breakfast is great too !

Great location, nice hotel, cozy pool. I think the renovation they did is boring and it lost a lot of character that they had with the old lobby decor. Can be noisy if you have a room overlooking Clarke Quay.
Irek Rybark (14/12/2016 20:55)
Nice five star hotel in the middle of area full of restaurants and bars.
Several mile long path with street undrpasses along Singapore river for walkers and joggers accessible right at the hotel entrance. Can be trimmed to individual preferences and abilities with bridge crossings.
As of 2016 hotel provides free-to-use cell phones with unlimited data and international calling. This really takes away hassle of roaming nonsense! Love it!
Shaun Young (11/12/2016 03:23)
Great location as a base to explore Singapore. Public transport meters from the entrance and spoilt for choice of restaurants and cafes.
Room was large and spotlessly clean. The only slight annoyance is the shower/bath combo. A sliding glass door surrounds the shower/bath combo and climbing in is a challenge. A rubber mat is available but first you need to climb in to reach the mat so it sort of defeats the purpose of the non slip mat. The shower head has a rubber pipe and yes it kinks and stops the water flow.
We had a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to return. The nightly rate is reasonable, the staff very helpful and welcoming and the facilities are immaculate.

You just have to stay here! People working here are very nice and helpful. Rooms are decently sized and extremely clean! For breakfast there is a nice big selection and they have one of the nicest pools I have ever seen! Hotel is also next to Clarke Quay which means good food or just a drink is a walk away! Stayed here twice and staying here again when coming back to Singapore!

Complimentary upgrade on arrival. Breakfast was expensive so we ate elsewhere so cannot judge the food.
Room was spacious with a good view and all amenities that would be expected of a hotel of this type.
Not used the pool yet but looks good.

Breakfast buffet is lacking in vegtables and the coffee is a little weak. Being down in Clarke key I would assume some really good coffee. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the service is top notch. Best hotel in Singapore next to Shangri-la.

Excellent service and great care to the customers. so far swissotel is the best hotel I have stayed.
Breakfast : lot of choice's like Chinese, Indian, European, English cusines. Also they deliver the food to your room if you ask.
Room service: Very good. you can choose your own time for the room service.
Location : in the city center.. 2 mins walk to the clarke quay restaurants and pubs.
Price: Not very cheap.

I went for a drink at happy hour with a few colleagues at the bar on the ground floor. While the setting doesn't compare to a rooftop bar in one of the many other hotels in singapore, the service was very good and the drinks nice and reasonably priced.

Beautiful hotel with great service.

A nice 5 star hotel with excellent location which has access to Clarke Quay and MRT station within 2 minutes walking.

Awesome hotel! In a great, strategic, convenient location. Have stayed here 3 times. Staff have always been polite, and professional. Even after you checkout, they offer you a chance to freshen up or relax. Rooms are spacious, and offer great views. Lobby is brilliant, and breakfast is very tasty with a wide variety of options. Really enjoy this hotel!
Kesavan Kannan (25/12/2015 15:29)
In one word, pathetic. For a larger room to stay for 3, there is only one room in which shower, wash basin and toilet available. Not even an extra wash basin available. Demands a lot, but offers very less. Not worth paying. Dont have their own vehicle to either pick or drop the guests to airport. On top of everything, we need to contact many to get the answer. Ultimately, the duty manager would be replying even for a Pringle Chips usage.
The highlight is : Ground staff are really soft, polite and trying to help. On the contrary, the managers, dont even come out of the room, but dictating terms with high arrogance. Seems that they are predominantly trying their best to lose the customer those who already stayed in the hotel.
God Bless and God only can do something to get the things sorted out. Do you still feel to asking me, will I stay again in this hotel, My God.
