The refurbished room was decent, however not very high up so sadly no views. Staff and service were fine, no complaints. Water pressure in the rooms could have been better. Sound proofing of the room door could have been better as noise from the corridor was disturbing at night. Gym was great and well equipped. Pool was average.

The upside of the hotel is the location (over looking the marina bay) and the staff. They are helpful and polite. The downside is we couldn't access the swimming pool after we checked out though our flight is later in the evening. There is a 4 hour block charge if we need to use the pool for our children.
Marriott tang and other hotels lets us use their pool even we checked out. Our flight back to Sydney tends to be in the evening. Therefore I give it a 4 star.

It’s a beautiful hotel in a great location but the staff really deserve the five stars. A huge thank you to Jason and the room service team for arranging my husbands surprise birthday cake. Jason made the arrangements and he and his team delivered it to our room, singing happy birthday complete with party hats. Thank you Jason for going above and beyond. It was much appreciated :)

Went for dinner buffet at Cafe Swiss on Friday night, they were having a Hearty Meat Feast Dinner Buffet. The spread was good, with several variety of roast meats (chicken, crispy pork, duck etc), baked ham and grilled meats on-the-spot with beef steaks, lamb and sausages. The roast beef is a little tough that day but it was okay. Service seems a little short handed that day. Would go again. Recommended. Try the raclette cheese.

The room was very clean and modern (recently updated I think). They accommodated us and gave us a partial marina view. The amenities were great and the breakfast buffet had a wide selection of western and eastern style foods. Nearly all the plugs were outfit with a North American compatible setup. The location's incredibly central; it's in a mall with some pretty good food and it's right on one of the main subway lines (City Hall Station on the East West line). Would happily stay there again.

Great ambiance, good service, very close to the marina Bay and nearby attractions. The food here is good as well, the breakfast buffet had more choice than I expected. The pools are big but the hotel is always exceptionally crowded. They have an mrt station so you can go around the city for really cheap. And the mall has good choices as well. But to me the location was what drew me here. Overall delighted. Definitely will come here again.

The rooms are renovated 1 year ago. They are updated the layout and furniture is good. The hotel does not have a gym. The pool is kids pool. There is no place to take a shower after check out. So the bottom line is the hotel is basically good for sleep and spa.

What a great hotel in Singapore. The newly renovated rooms are stunning. All features work perfectly. I love to come to this hotel for years, as it is so perfectly located. Just the spa could be refurbished a bit.

Hotel's location is good, connected to a large shopping mall with large selection of shops and restaurants. I attended a function in the ballroom and the facility was good with quality equipments and audio/video systems. Staffs were mostly attentive and helpful. Recommended hotel in the Central Business District area of Singapore.

Rooms are clean and modern. Make sure you have a high floor overlooking the Marina Bay for the stunning view. The breakfast area is a bit busy so you can end up waiting some time to get a table. The hotel is directly linked to the shopping center for your convenience. Smoking is getting more difficult in Singapore. You have some designated areas outsiders and when it rains you are out of luck.

Was there for a friend's birthday party. The room was well-equipped with a mini-bar and even a speaker that we can play music from. During the party, we requested some ice from the concierge and it was delivered promptly. When I left, my phone was out of battery, but the kind staff at the counter allowed me to borrow a wire to charge my phone. It was a very pleasant visit to the hotel.

A very conveniently located hotel with stunning views of Singapore. We specifically requested a harbour view and were fortunate to be placed very high up. While the balcony sent my vertigo into overdrive each time, it was worth it to lookout into the ocean each day. The hotel also sits atop a large mall (although malls are everywhere in Singapore) and within easy walking distance of many Singapore sights, including Raffles (which is a great place to waste your money).

I've stayed in this hotel four years in a row for stays of minimum two weeks each year. They always welcome me back with a smile, and many even remember my name! Beautiful accommodations, and they will truly meet your every need. Always impressed here!

Great hotel. Five star experience. Good location near city. Accessible to most attractions within walking distance. Downtown view is also spectacular. Market place available at the shopping complex adjacent to hotel. Highly recommended

Great view. Decor is 1980s. Wallpaper from the 90s. TV reception is from 1950s. Or maybe it was actually snowing. Great location and very good service.

Grand and lavish lobby. The staff were extremely kind and courteous. Providing support and help almost immediately when we step in. Was there for a dinner event and knowing the hotel event space was huge and plenty, one will fear getting lost. But the minute we were on the fourth floor for the event. We were greeted with staff which ask what we are here for and promptly guided us to the right direction. Food was good. =)

The best hotel in Singapore. Conveniently located. Responsive staff alert to your every needs. Luxurious rooms with excellent food in all the outlets. Great variety of many delicacy. Happy with my short stay. Highly recommended.

Best hotel I have stayed in while visiting any country! 5/5 for all aspects that make a hotel stay enjoyable. Best advice is to make sure you upgrade to the 'executive lounge' because all the perks are well worth the extra money.
Gabriele Maugeri (15/06/2017 13:01)
Very nice place where to stay. The position is very central and well connected with many public/private transportation. The cameras are very large, comfortable and well furnished. You will find everything you need! The view from the 20+ floor is amazing, unfortunately not all the floor permit the access to the balcony. The morning was awesome, I slept very well and the breakfast was one of the best breakfast I have ever done!

We stayed here on two occasions, and both rooms had amazing views of the city and the Bay. I have been to various other Swissotels however and have to say this was my least enjoyable of them. Whilst the service is great and the hotel is well positioned, the interiors are somewhat dated and reduce the luxury feel. For example, the bath tub had a crack in it and the furniture looks like it's been there since the 70's! We have stayed in other newer, more luxurious, well positioned hotels in Singapore that provide better value.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. We didn't stay overnight but had drinks at the reception. Ambience was great. Pity that there weren't that many people in the hotel lobby bar having drinks, but by the looks of things, it looks like a wonderful place to have drinks whilst discussing business matters. Great location in the heart of the central business district too! Couldn't recommend this place anymore!

A decent room hotel with a stunning view. While booking please mention you want top room with marina sands Bay view only. Do not opt for corner rooms they are very complex in shape. Shopping mall below has all for a travellers need. We did not opted for hotel breakfast and was a good call as there are many cafes within the mall below, had different breakfast at different cafe while our stay. It has a superb location so connectivity is great. Do visit roof top restaurant for a awesome 360 view.
pressieguy (07/05/2017 13:32)
Great hotel. Renovations to the gym and pools are slight inconvenience however still worth a visit. Very close and accessible to most large shops an mrt stations

This is the tallest hotel in Singapore. It has the best views and also the service is great. You can easily see the Marina bay in all it's glory. The singapore flyer, the ship building, gardens by the bay can be easily seen from your balcony.

Excellent hotel, with beautiful Singapore view. It is attached to a mall perfect for your shopping, or have some food in the restaurants. Also there is a place called Chjmes just across the road where you can enjoy a good drink and dinner or lunch. Really good location, nice rooms and friendly staff, do not forget the famous Night Club on its roof top where you can have a fabulous view of the city while sharing the dance floor with some of the most beautiful people in the city.
techturismo (02/03/2017 14:49)
Above average. The hotel is well maintained, staff are very attentive, rates are reasonable as well, per Singapore standard.

Swissotel The Stamford is ideally located at the centre of Singapore and it's connected to Suntec City, a shopping mall which serve a variations of shops, food & etc. Staffs are very helpful and friendly at the concierge and the room is clean and comfortable. It will be more satisfying if the management can improve their room service. Overall, I had a pleasant stay for 3 days 2 nights there.
Ridhav (22/01/2017 09:27)
I couldn't find a fault with my stay here at Swissotel; from location to the view from the room , it was all great. The rooms need a bit of upgrade though in general, but the particular room I had got these amazing views, so I can not really complain. Would love to stay here again, provided I get the same room :-)
David Huber (13/12/2016 12:59)
This hotel has the BEST views of downtown and surrounding Singapore. The balcony is great and private. The room itself is huge and cozy bed. The breakfast is great though quite busy and not enough seats. I had to stand in line for like five minutes just for (one) to be seated but worth it!!
The gym and spa is amazing. There is a nice pool and also some tennis courts! I look forward to staying here again.

This stay was for 10 nights over the F1 2016 event. The hotel is excellently located right on the track with close proximity to many of singapore's finest attractions. The facilities are very Good with great options for dining and drinks. This is my third stay at the Swissotel and I look forward to the fourth.
Jeremy Holm (15/09/2016 21:43)
Very nice hotel, impeccable service. Location is great, close to F1 and the CBD. Rates are expensive but you get what you pay for.

Himadri Sinha (26/08/2016 09:26)
The best thing here was their vegetarian food. And the Indian restaurant is awesome. They have locals singing Ghazals here.
The next best thing is the easy access to the metro right below and the cab services that are available 24x7.
Reasonable rooms, though can do better with the amenities.
Andrew Shannon (09/07/2016 10:18)
There's no doubt the Swissotel has a great location. It's on top of the central metro line and a huge mall with 25+ restaurants alone. Most of the downtown Singapore attractions are within walking distance (too hot though in the afternoon) as well.
The hotel itself is a nice 4 star. My wife and I had a corner room which I believe is the largest on each floor. It was good sized, but slightly dated. That said, everything was clean and no real complaints. It also has nice amenities like a pool, tennis courts, workout and spa facilities, etc.
There's really nothing bad to say about the Swissotel and I would do back. It might not be a 'premium' 5 star hotel, but it's also affordable so a good tradeoff for most.
Hayden Singleton (18/06/2016 04:57)
Friendly staff, loads of facilities. The gym isn't well advertised or signed and is located in the Fairmont hotel next to the pool area. Basically never need to go outside the hotel with the underground links.

Although it's kind of old but very well maintained. Great service. Room is very clean and comfortable. Check out the view of the new Asia bar at 71st floor.

If you're trying to find a really great deal on this amazing hotel I'd highly suggest booking it through the website HotelRaven. Com They have great deals for it on there! Such a perfect place don't have enough great things to say really!!!!
Really nice hotel. Great location in Singapore. Right near a MRT and shops/food. Short walk to Marina Bay too. Orchard Rd within walking distance though a longer walk.
Bathrooms are clean though VERY Tired (Rm 2365). Our shower needed muscles of steel to turn off to the degree is wasn't running (more than a drip).

Had a dinner event here and was happy with the food and service. The buffet spread had a good mix of east and west flavors, although the tandoori chicken was slightly tough. I was pleasantly surprised by the service of one staff who went the extra mile to help me get olive oil for my salad. Thanks!
