Standard dropped, but still best in Singapore for convenient sushi.

Sushi Tei have a few outlets in Singapore, this one at Vivo City is particularly good. The seafood are much fresher and even the Zuwei Crab fried rice taste much much better than the ones I had tried in Tampines and Orchard. Sushi Tei serve a wide varieties of Japanese dishes and are considered the better mass casual Japanese restaurant in Singapore. Expect to wait as there are always queue at Vivo and even Tampines outlet.

Good food and great selection/variety.
Wait staff could be friendlier.
Great time!

Superb place for variety of Japanese food...amazing place for sushi, loved the warm sake and deserts !!! Must visit when in Vivocity mall... Family friendly place with a great view of harbour... You may also get to view the fireworks from wings of time show ...

Simply delicious! The sushi and pasta are the best. This restaurant is most of the times crowded so definitely around 15-20 mins wait (even though is on a Wed).
I order the salmon sashimi and its really nice that its served on top of a plate of ice to keep the salmon fresh :)
The urchin and salmon roe pasta is definitely the best too as the sauce and the urchin taste complement each other!
Nice scenery outside the restaurant too!

One of the above average japanese restaurant. The prices may be slightly higher, but you get what u paid. Services are so-so, we are lucky that we visit before dinner time, no queue and very fast service. Foods still taste the same from the last time I visit.

Bad service
I ordered some sushi and miso soup. All sushi came first but soup never come. I checked to several staff so many times no one updated me the progress just busy with chatting.
I've waited like forever while watching other people's food were served which came after us.
Besides, food was not good neither.

Sushi Tei is in my opinion, one of the best Japanese restaurant chains in Singapore. The Japanese food is good and they are competitively priced.

One of the biggest sushi tei I have ever seen, yet you need to queue if you go at dinner hour. Great sushi, great dessert.

Above average Japanese cuisine restaurant, be sure to get a window seat to have a view of the "sentosa straits" expect to queue during dining hours.

Definitely their service dropped a lot compare to previous visit. I saw our garlic fried rice at the runner station but no one picked up even though more than 4 waitress went pass it till after 10mins. The restaurant was pretty empty(less than 6tables filled) and crew could stand the cashier area chatting instead of refilling tea for the customers. Food was okay though but garlic fried rice could have more room for improvement. The garlic smell wasn't strong enough and it taste like normal fried rice. And rice was too wet also. We prefer garlic fried rice from Sakae sushi teppanyaki. But their sushi were quite good though.
EDIT: we went back after 3 days. The young male crew serving us were quite helpful and friendly.

One of my favorite sushi spots in Singapore, reasonably priced with good quality

It's a tad expensive for a Jap restaurant of its stature. I've always been pleased with its selection and quality but this time, their ramen was pretty disappointing.

Not good experience. I visited here at around 4:00 PM. The view and seat were fine, but the taste of sushi was not good. The rice for salmon sushi was too dry, and not harmonized well with salmon. Even there was no scent of wasabi in the sushi. They don't serve water or tea before requested. There might be the better sushi restaurant in Singapore I hope.

This is one of the Japanese restaurants that serves fresh sashimi. This outlet at Vivo is quite big. I had a late lunch but it was still crowded. Service was friendly and efficient.

Unfortunately this particular Sushi Tei the service was horrible. Too many employees clearing tables and not focusing on the guests. Hostess' sense of urgency was non existent. Two of our dishes were never brought to our table till we chased a server down. Just because the location is great doesn't mean you can neglect guests.

One of the best Sushi restaurants chain in Singapore. Very crowded and sometimes the waiting can take over 20min but fish is fresh and waiters mostly friendly. If in luck, a good table can turn the evening quite romantic.

One of the best sushi places in Singapore. The queue is always long but the food never fails to satisfy tour tantalizing taste buds.

Decent food. Conveniently situated in shopping mall. However, they always have a long queue and don't they reservation.

I visit sushi tei whenever I'm back in Singapore for holidays. I've been to this brand 3 times in the past 1 month. The food is great but service is horrendous. The part timers that you all have do not make eye contact and you need a lot of effort to get their attention for a simple order. To top up green tea. The manager was reluctant to serve. AVOID This branch if u don't want bad service. p.s I always come during off peak hours - at 3pm. The food is great, service needs a lot of improvement.
