One of the better-designed MRT stations in Singapore. Located just outside the Singapore Sports Hub.

The design of this MRT station is very impressive, minimalist, and goes with the theme of the place very well. The lighting though, is quite dim compared to most other MRT stations. Of particular interest are the escalators which seemingly stretches across the height of 4, 5 storeys, transporting one from the lobby to the platform. The sight is pretty impressive.

Lovely place to hangout on weekends when there are no major events. Enjoy the windy sheltered running track around the National Stadium.

Concerts or MMA championships all mostly held in this area. The area is very big and there is also shopping malls. Great for strolls at night.

This MRT Station may be confusing. One must know which exit to get out of, if not one will have to walk very far.
