Walking through this garden, I can’t help but be reminded of the importance of spices in driving colonial-era trade, which saw the birth of strategic ports like Singapore. The plants here inspire curiosity and are indeed a feast for the senses. More importantly, they contribute to the rich diversity of flora in the park.

Lovely spice garden, they really take good care of the plants and easy to identify, would recommend families with children to visit the spice garden, has a few benches to rest on if you get tired

Great if you want to see the origin of all the tropical spices. They also have a collection of types of banana tree. There are other interesting things to see in the area (eg archeological dig site)

I never knew Petai tree (smelly beans) can grow so high!
I enjoy this little spice garden alot!
Wish they will extend it.
