Great hotel located centrally on orchard road. If you like shopping this is a good base camp. Also is walking distance to orchard towers. Breakfast is good, the executive lounge is also nice.

Good choice for lunch buffet - scrumptious fine international and fresh seafood dishes. This is the best place for that succulent crispy roasted pork knuckle! Choice for dessert is a bit too limited.

Wonderful hotel near the shopping area of Singapore. The room was large with nice views, decorated in a chic and functional way. Nice and comfortable bed with a good choice of pillows. Bathroom is very functional too with a spacious shower that works really well. Service is great, fast and completely non intrusive. One detail that captured me is the subtle but nice smell of flowers, accompanied with the sound of water when entering the hotel. In one word: wonderful.

Good location, right in the middle of Orchard road. Was there for a dinner and dance event. Food standard was excellent and professional crew. Posh interior and certainly worthy of a 5* rating.

Fantastic value for money buffet at Marriot cafe. We paid 80++ for 2 pax for the lunch buffet. Where else can you get lobsters for lunch at such good prices. The spread was decent but quality of food was not compromised. Overall it is one of the better buffets in Singapore that I have went to.

Staff at the pool bar is very attentive and accomodating. My set meal I had choose fruit platter for dessert and had requested no to certain fruits which are on their standard platter and they changed it completely for me.

Environment is very nice! Everything looks good, they provide food and drinks for event goers outside the function rooms, which is good. Very clean place!

I went to the other room bar after dinner with my colleagues. I wasn't able to find an entrance till I asked. Very interesting concept and nice place for having variety of whiskies and cocktails.

Had a high tea buffet before. The food is fresh and with quite a big spread. I love the local soup makes me feel in at home. The customer service is good too.

Service is good and staffs are friendly. Location is good as well. They have workshop room is level 2. Swimming pool view is wonderful. They are also following some environmental friendly initiative like changing towels as per clients needs.

Situated in the heart of orchard road. Shopping, food, entertainment are all a stone's throw away. Hotel and function rooms are great. Only issue was that the lifts are very slow during the peak hours. Be sure to check out the other room from an interesting take of a bar in the wall (though prices are steep)

Went to pool grill restaurant for lunch at Marriott hotel. The ambience was great, it was very quiet and serene. Had a great time there. The staff was also attentive and friendly. Highly recommended if you need a private moment away from the bustling crowd.

Overall wonderful hotel but at peak hours counters can be short staffed. Fantastic location on top on Orchard MRT and right on shopping street. Lounge serves up fantastic food and drinks (way better than in the United States).

Went to the ball room on the 3rd floor for dinner and dance. There was a bar counter at level 2, which we can get free drinks. But during the dinner service, I pity the poor servers who have to walk all the way from level 3 to 2 just to get a glass of soft drink. Alas, who would order soft drinks at a dinner. People just want to drink hot tea and plain water right. Anyway, the air conditioning is cooling and the toilet is clean. The food, though, is less to be desired. Absolutely edible!

The room is spacious and clean and provides everything you could expect from a 5 star hotel. Althought the rooms are dated but it maintains a certain charm without looking ancient. Location is excellent. Associates are friendly and club lounge offerings are exceptional.

It's in a super convenient location. The metro is below the hotel and the hop on hop off site seeing tour picks up on the corner. There is easy access to food & shopping. I had access to the executive suite so I had free breakfast daily that was very good. There were cocktails and finger foods in the evenings.

The food was amazingly delicious. Lamb shank was stunning. Carbonara, creamy and beautiful. What i liked the most? It would be the crispy duck. The skin was crusty and the meat was moist, dissolving in the mouth. All in all, it was a splendid meal

Attended a recruitment talk on a Friday evening, held at one of the event rooms on the 3rd level. The location of the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from bus stops and the mrt station. There was light refreshments provided. Overall the food and services were satisfactory.

We frequent the Marriott Cafe for their weekend buffets. We love their buffets for the following reasons: 1. 1-for-1 promotions with the various credit cards. Value for money! 2. High quality buffet spread. They focus on quality dishes which are not commonly found in other buffets. I personally love the spicy eggplant with minced beef! 3. Environment was not noisy and empty plates were cleared promptly. Good service from the waitresses! 4. Excellent location with ample parking. We always enjoy ourselves there. In fact, we have made reservations and will be returning in a fortnight for lunch again.

The hotel is in a decent location with shopping located steps outside of the hotel or even beneath the hotel. The subway is literally below the hotel and provides access to all business areas in Singapore. The room I had was clean and provided for a good night's sleep. The ac in the room (like other hotels) shuts off when your key card is removed. You could keep it running with a deactivated card but that defeats the purpose of saving energy. The furniture in the room was clean but looked a little used. The bathroom and shower were adequate and I liked the separate vanity area (perfect for women). The views are nice and can be fully blocked with curtains at night. The TV had a few decent channels with a mix of Mandarin and English. The restaurant at the hotel was a little expensive for the area, but had a nice breakfast buffet with many different options including pastries, juices, omelets, and meats. The pool is very nice as well. The one complaint I have is some of the flooring in the hallways is stained and needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Nice rooms, high floors have a good view. Very clean and staff are courteous. Nice drinks on the executive floor aren't weak pours, as some free flow services can be.

The Chinese restaurant on the third floor serves really delicious dim sum. Choices are great and service immaculate. Wonderful people that serves with a smile. Enjoyed my brunch through and through. They've got platinum amex card discounts and Citibank discount. Try it!!!

Wide variety of food however very limited vegetarian options. Overall quality of the food is good but not great. Service was friendly and knowledgeable.

The business centre is currently closed and it was replaced with a new michellin japanese restaurant. Which makes things a tad inconvenient. They should have some computers in the lobby to make things more convenient for guests. Overall a good stay. Good bedding. Nice rooms. Basic club facilities.

Near all shopping needs, Ok let's be real. All high end shopping needs😊😊😊. Although this is a wonderful hotel it is NOT a family hotel.
They tried to make it kids friendly but it's not. We stayed in the executive suite ,since the kids was there we didn't get the full benefits. They still came through with free bfast buffet on the first floor.
If you in town for business or just want to be with your special someone this is the place for you. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is a must the breakfast buffet is really good.

The location is superb on the corner of Orchard and Scott's, right on top of an MRT station. Excellent rooms and very good restaurants. I have stayed here countless times since the early nineties.

Very classy entrance with mushroom water fountains on each side of the walkway entering into a very spacious common area with a classy dining area with a large bakery that is accessible from the lobby. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely appointed with beautiful furniture. The bathroom was gorgeous and large, our shower had double shower heads as well as double, very large ceiling mounted rain shower heads. The upper floors have wonderful views of the downtown area. As a bonus, the minibar has everything you could imagine from nuts, wine, sodas, sweets, savories to men's socks.

Iconic hotel. Location is great but service can be further improved. The breakfast spread for halal section is the same for 2 days in a row. Wifi is also not free unless you have membership. Lastly no bathtub in the deluxe room

great service, accommodation and location. worthies 5 star rating. except the bathroom of the executive suite. there is a false door that leads straight to the common lobby. noisy when you just want to relax.

Wanted to try the high tea here and was told that I would have to make a reservation for using the entertainer app. Was also told that the place was full.
I made a call to the marriott tangs main line immediately and was told that i could have a reservation 5 minutes later. So it turns out i could get a space if i called? Ridiculous.
However, on appearing i was told that they were not taking reservations anymore. They tried to get me to share a table with someone else but at that point it would have been better to take my money elsewhere instead.
Shame on you marriott.

Nice hotel. Centrally located in the City. Executive Lounge is exceptional with draught beer, full service bar and a better than normal continental breakfast ... includes hot food service and an omlette station. The service is exceptional.
The evening canapés selection is good (with sushi and dim sum) that you don't have to go out for dinner. Well worth it to upgrade to executive floor if travelling for business.
WiFi is great. The views from the lounge are exceptional.
The bar downstairs is pricey (like the rest of singapore).
This marriott is as good as a JW Marriott .... not just a regular Marriott.

Enjoyed afternoon tea. Three tier stand with sandwiches (average) cakes (excellent - mostly Western style which is perfectas Singapore cakes usually suck), pastries(excellent) and scones (good). Replenished quickly and as often as you wanted. Good service. Only in the lobby tho so not best venue, restaurant reserved for full High Tea experience

Great location but rooms are noisy. AC and traffic from the streets are quite loud.

Just not a 5 star experience. Hotel is nice in a great location, but issues with service were too much to overcome. I found the service staff mostly ignorant and rude.
They took forever with the bags, blaming me for losing the tag even though I had left it with the front desk. Laundry was a day late. I asked for a car to be arranged each day and was willing to pay a premium, just not 5 times normal cab fare.
Overall, just not the Marriott level of service I have come to expect.

The High tea held over here at Marriott is quite an interesting concept - with Oysters and prawns... Well, not to say that the food was bad, but rather, it was different. There were many local cuisines, including Roti Prata, Hokkien Mee, Chicken Rice and other stuff, though the quality was just simply alright. Nothing special, nothing unique.

The was hotel nicely renovated. but that's all. I had the worst ever experience with a 5star hotel.
We arrived and greeted by a very rude bell boy, then we waited for over half an hour to get our bags delivered upstairs.
Our room, which is a double room with an extra bed that we were paying extra for. Well, meaning 3 guests were staying in that room. The extra bed was setup, great, however there were only 2 set of towels... Rocket science. So we called the reception, nothing happened. We then asked the house keeping staff who happened to be in the hall, we politely explained and asked if we can have a extra towel. She replied "why, when are u checking out, why do u need extra towel..." basically questioned us like we were some kind of criminals. Finally got that extra towel, then the same thing happened the day after.
The week before i stayed in a small hotel in chinatown costed me SG$130 per night had given me better service.
