Family dinner at top of UOB Plaza 1. Alittle pricey but offer authentic SiChuan & Cantonese cuisine and dim sum dishes. Very attentive and friendly service staff.

Featured a promotion for Amex cards on their website but nowhere did it state that it must be Amex Platinum card. When I called to confirm my reservation and verified this promotion again, the Staff did not clarify that this promotion is limited to Amex Platinum card too. When I raised this blunder to the manager, he could only shrug his shoulders and say sorry.
Food was ok, duck was slightly over-cooked.

Hosted a German delegation here for dinner. We had the set menu which also included the PEKING Duck. The Restaruant also handles wine well with knowledge of wine pairing. We had a private room that had a great view of the Bay.

UOB plaza
Small insect were found in one of the dishes(he ye bao). And the flavour of other dishes also not well. For example, the jelly fish in san xiao die was not very fresh.
Not pleasant experience!

Nice multi-course Chinese food and a bit of circus with the tea pouring from long tip kettle. Vegetarian menu available. Nice views.

Went here for a Chinese New Year lunch. Food was fantastic and great service. The staff do this cool thing when pouring the Chinese tea, with this long spout and from a distance they fill up your cup. A great experience with also an amazing view.

The Damage (no drinks): S$80-120 for two
Sichuan stalwart whos UOB branch offers sweeping views of the city. The food is fiery while the service is okay. Hits include their Prawns in Spicy Bean Sauce and Boiled Sliced Fish in Sichuan Peppers

The food is not bad. HOWEVER, their honesty is really dubious to me.
We bought some vouchers from them in July-2017, however, NOBODY mentioned that the vouchers expire at the end of Aug-2017, and the waiter MISLEADINGLY told us that it will be valid for one year, which is a blunt lie. It's only later after we decided to use the vouchers they pointed this out to us and refused to accept them.
What kind of act is this? Maybe according to their super-high moral standard, it's not called CONNING, it's superior services with Terms & Conditions that they just explained it the wrong way to their advantages.

Had the Sze Chuan beef and fried chicken. Unique pepper corn taste and absolutely not spicy. Extreme salty, not to my liking.

Terrible service for mediocre food which is extremely overpriced. We (4 of us) booked in advance specifically asked for a table with a view of the quay, but threw us to a table with no view in large area where no one else. Therefore it was extremely difficult to get attention from any staffs since no one else was around but us.
Our tea had only been refilled couple times despite a lot of efforts put to get attention from staffs.
After all, food wasn't even that good which was the worst part.
It absolutely doesn't make sense to climb up that high for no view, mediocre food and terrible service.

Pros: Great Sichuan cuisine, excellent environment and awesome view (60th floor!)
Cons: Service was a bit slow. Had to ask few times to fill up our chinese tea.
Tip: Gotta try the Mala Chongqing Chicken. So spicy but so addictive!
