A good hotel will all amenities in and close by. Food is good and it's near the Newton food place for more the advantageous. Staff are courteous and the guards maning the entry are trying to keep up the old tradition of old British era. Recommended!

Very good service, good Hall, good events coordinator. Great lobby with one of the best view and space there is in Singapore, better than hotels way above its price point. Great good as well for the restaurant libai.highly recommended

It is in a very accessible location, just a stone's throw away from Newton Station. I didn't sample their rooms, as I was there for the Chinese Restaurant called Li Bai. However once before, I was there for Grad Night. It was pretty fun, the food was good, the table setting and furniture taste was pretty on point. The customer service is also really good. They are very helpful, and know a great deal about the hotel. The feel of the hotel is very posh, and very magnificent. The toilets are lined with granite and other good looking stones. I'd rate the hotel 7/10.

Had lunch at Dining Room. Nice ambience with outdoor water fall. Service is fast n friendly too. Food is average though. The lamb n beef are tough n dry. The bread is really good though.

Nice hotel. Great views from the rooms. Food is expensive compared to other 5 star hotels. Location is central. Swimming pool is my best part about this hotel. It is easily a 25m pool.

Friendly staff . Arrived very early from Jhb, no problem for early check in. Breakfast excellent. Coffee divine. Room good

Good maintenance despite aged property. Rooms have good size and housekeeping is excellent. Outdoor Pool and gym feels like a resort in modern Singapore. Location quite far from Orchard. Near Newton mrt station and Newton hawker centre.

The hotel appears quite dated and is in need of a renovation or upgrade. Went for a meal at the restaurant for a family Chinese New year's dinner Spread was so so. Expected more for the price. The garden scenery backdrop was nice in the day time but didn't create an impression once night fell. Food-wise, Oysters were fresh but that was the limit. Service wasn't as attentive as expected for the crowd. I even had a cup it tea mixed with coffee despite clearly having had tea in the cup and asking for tea specifically. The desserts were lacklustre and needed some inspiration. The rose beef was tough and the duck was dry. Laksa tasted bland.

The experience with the Sheraton Towers was fantastic from the check in and everything in between. They were also nice enough to give me a 6am check in without forewarning.
My room was spacious and very comfortable to work in. The furniture didn't seem dated to me, but felt classic contemporary.
Food and beverage options at the hotel are good if you choose to dine in room or at one of the restaurants.

Nice hotel with the best doormen in Singapore. Service elsewhere was just fine. The decor is lovely although the lounge is trying to be something different in a way that doesn't quite work. Skip the breakfast buffet if you're looking for more European/American food, pricing won't work out in your favor. Seems like a popular conference hotel, so take that for what it's worth. With so many options in Singapore at this price point, not sure we'd return

Really very nice even as a gym member there. Always welcomed with the warm smiles of the staffs there and a nice "welcome" really made my day. Enjoyed my visit there.

Clean and comfortable. Courteous staff. Convenient location adjacent to the Newton MRT station. There were some renovation or construction next to my room so air quality was compromised.

Very pleasant hotel around the town area. Located right above Newton station, this hotel is actually very exceptionally convenient. As an SPG hotel, you also get very good benefits and treatment if you're part of the loyalty program. Restaurants at this hotel is very good quality and value for money. Dinner banquets, however, can be a little awkward, as the ballroom is in the shape of an L, leaving one side being more in the action compared to the other side. Overall though, still a very good hospitable hotel.

I ate at The Dining Room, the hotel buffet. The ambience was beautiful with a huge waterfall in the background. It was a pleasant experience, the staff were polite and they were prompt in serving us. The food selection was great with a focus on seafood. While the variety might not be the best, it is still quite respectable. The quality of the food was great. Overall an excellent experience at this hotel buffet.

The rooms are very average even below the standards what they are showing online. The rooms even doesn't look like what they showing in the picture. Even the guest services is so poor that they took a lot of time to get yours things done. I travelled with my 2yrs child in the property and they can't even handle to clean the bottles of my child. The baby bottles they cleaned was took even hours then also so badly cleaned that the milk was still inside. I called them and told about the same but they them self not aware that whose fault is this. Is it of a silver shirt or the blue one. I even booked a pick up service for which they charge 100dollars and still I mention them that I have 3 bags and a baby pram still they send Mercedes E class in which we all sat very uncomfortably. Still I let it go but handling the baby things like this was truly unprofessional and below the standards. Travellers I strictly recommend not to go to this property as its way beyond the stars. I even don't give 1 star to the property. I even told the manager about the same that the room is very bad and not similar to the picture but he himself told us that the picture taken from a wide angel camera even yours picture also come wider if the take yours. So unprofessional. Handling the kids things likewise they did is truly not applicable. I travelled in the property 8th august2017 and my room no. Was 1609. Which also changed due to lack of oxygen. Please all the fellow Indians and travellers it's a big no due to services they providing.

I had a lovely buffet dinner at the Sheraton Towers Singapore. Ambience was lovely, and so was the service and food provided. Their toilets are really well maintained to the highest standards. Had a great night.

Brilliant hotel with great rooms. A little pricey but I'd say it was worth it. The staff was quite hospitable and I enjoyed the services. Also, the breakfast buffet was quite good. Would definitely recommend.

Good, friendly staff though out room needed an uplift. For instance, There was no shower stall per se, so we showered standing in the bathtub. Location is good, with the Newton MRT stations just a few minutes away.

One of my favorite high tea and buffet. Romantic aircond indoor seats right under a waterfall with lovely fish enjoy swimming in the river and ponds beneath.

A bit dated but still considered as luxury, clean and well managed hotel. The staff is warm and helpful. Room facilities work fine.
During fasting month, they provide in-room early meal (sahur), which is great.
Been here several times, since 1999 until now (2017), they maintain good services.

I was there for the dinner buffet. The hotel lobby was very clean, spacious and it felt very pleasant to be there. The staff were also very polite and they provided good service. I had a great experience there and i would definitely like to return. Going to the hotel itself was also very convinient as it is only a short walk away from Newton MRT station

Good hotel. Its a bit out of the way but Singapore is a small city. The Chinese restaurant in the basement is very good. One unique thing is they lend you a local cell phone to use if you don't want to roam.

Good location, just the right distance away from the main shopping area of Singapore and far enough to be away from the crowds. Near to Newton hawker centre and nice food places in Balestier.

where Sheraton Towers can't make it in terms of providing more luxurious and comfy settings due to the age of the place, they certainly make it up by the smiles and willingness of staff to go the extra mile in making sure that your stay is as best as possible.

Conveniently located hotel in Singapore. It's close to the MRT and walking distance to Orchard road. Service is good and the rooms are of a good standard. Always had a good stay and good service here.

This hotel is a disgrace to the SPG group. Not at all kids friendly, if you are planning to visit Singapore with family, avoid this hotel like a disease. The executive lounge does not even allow kids under 12. Staff is very arrogant and uneducated in the manner of hospitality.
The breakfast is bad - to say the least. Limited options, nothing for vegetarians.
One of the worst experience I ever had at a five star hotel.

Decided to stay my last night at Sheraton Towers in Singapore.. I don't know what to say; whether it is just SPG hotels or Sheraton. I firmly believe they should never be entitled for 5 stars. My room is way too humid after turning air conditional on for 3 hours. I call to the guest service, the two technician come in and tell me it is same for all the hotel rooms at Sheraton Towers. Well, they told me they would be sending me new guys after an hour if the humidity doesn't go away, yet it is 11 pm , and my parents are half asleep. Thanks to the lady who offered room change but it is nearly impossible for my old parents to get up at mid of night to carry our luggage and move to another room; especially when the humidity issue is not guaranteed to be resolved in another room. Sheraton Universal in LA, Sheraton Towers in Singapore, I am never going to stay again at Sheraton hotel.

Expensive but we still choose it for its convenient location and SPG offers. For the price you pay you may be surprised to have a smaller room, very basic breakfast and other amenities.
I have had mixed experience with the staff and service. The last time was good. But, I have had very bad experience. Especially during busy hours they were responding with one or two front desk staff. I could see many yelling at them because of slow service.

Sheraton tower hotel is located at the city center (newton). It is accessible to the local public transportation (MRT & bus) and it is just a stop or 2 to orchard road. Newton is also the location of a famous hawker center (singapore food stalls) called newton circus.
For the price of this hotel, I think it highly recommended!!

I attended the CARE NETWORK WORKPLAN SEMINAR 2016 held at the hotel on Thursday, 12 May 2016. At about 2.40 pm, I approached your staff, Ms Norita, inquiring whether the Seminar Organizing Committee made arrangements of praying facilities for Muslim seminar participants.
She replied she would make a check, and at the same time assured me if no arrangements made, she would do the needful.
She helped out. Thus, enabled me and one other seminar participant to perform our afternoon prayers.
To Ms Norita, you're decisive! You made my day. I do appreciate it. Thank You.

I had a great experience the last time so I re-book another stay at Sheraton Towers Singapore.This time however, it wasn’t for business and more for pleasure hence the consideration will defer.
For one, I got a room available when I arrive at 10am on a Friday. While this is not always expected but it’s nice to have to be able to get into your room quickly without fuss and the front desk made it happen for me, which is great.
I also like the fact that I get free WIFI this time around as an SPG member. Which is really nice, wifi should be free in every hotel.
Being near Newton MRT means you get to reach major places along the Singapore attractions easily. Orchard Road is just one stop away, City Hall a few stops along the same line and you can easily get to Marina Bay and elsewhere through this line. Convenient.
The concierge is great for recommendations and one fella at the door even dress the part and offered great recommendations since he’s 70+ and been doing this for eons.
There’s the Newton Hawker Centre just up the road which offers great selection of street food, which is great but you can always get to other major foodie precinct such as Dempsey Hill, Upper Thompson Road, or even Marina Bay Sands very easily from the hotel.
One tip, if you’re taking a taxi down to Orchard, ask them to stop at Marriot instead of Ion so that you can the quickest direct route rather than waiting in traffic as the taxi makes its turn around Orchard’s roads to get there.
