Food was alright, but the service can really be improved. I ordered the bee hoon along with other dishes. The other dishes came quickly, but it seems like they forgot about the bee hoon. And after reminding the waitress, she just say it is coming without checking with the kitchen. End up I had to tell another waitress which then checked with the kitchen and found out that they missed the order.

服务很糟糕!Poor attitude! Mistook my order but insisted I've ordered it. Paid at counter and returned the unused wet towels, the cashier accused us for stealing one wet towels (they gave 5 packs though we have 5 adults and 1 kids). She then threw those wet towels away and spoke rudely. Hey! You served those dishes that I didn't order, I paid for your mistakes and yet you are being so rude!
东西好吃,服务很差,不会再来!

If you do not know where to have good selections and fresh seafood and not risk getting ripped off...This is a good dining choice. Cooking is great and simple casual atmosphere where you can dig in with your fingers and lick on them without the fear of being stared at. Order their steamed big squid, really fresh and always nicely cooked. Crispy baby squid is another all time favourite while their famous dish is the flat pan fried rice vermicelli. Super super yummy with their accompanying spicy sambal. Go eat!

Great place for reasonably priced seafood, parking is limited. Open only at night after 5.30pm but you get very fresh seafood!
William Hardrick (19/04/2018 13:33)
Very tasty food delivered very timely. Nice, bright, eating area. Seafood very fresh.
Alvin Lim (04/04/2018 11:24)
Absolutely unacceptable service, if at all any. Feels like as a customer, we owe them. No one seems to carry a smile on their face.
Food, except the fried vermicelli, the rest are quite horrible to be honest. Price wise, you're paying Singapore rate. A small plate stir fry Long bean is RM20, a plain fry clamps / la la is RM20 with probably 20+ pieces as well.
Absolutely won't return.

Disappointing. The beehoon has been seriously downsized. Hachoingkai was a whole chicken lightly deep-fried. Seafood still decent. Poor service from staff, long waiting times.
DL T (16/03/2018 02:21)
The seafood was passable, while the non-seafood dishes were disappointing. Service was barely there. The premise was spacious and airy, but great pity that smoking by patrons was allowed, and we had to endure 2nd hand smoke throughout dinner.

The food is very nice. The location is quite OK too but if you're unlucky you will find it hard to park your car. Overall amazing place to consume Malaysian Chinese seafood.

Famous for it delicious dried fried bihun.
Seafood wise, taste is good but not the best.
Staff very efficient on ordering, but takes time for dishes to be served on your table.
Plenty of tables available but limited parking area.
During peak hours, most customers will have to park elsewhere since neighborhood is residential area.
Marcus Khoo (29/10/2017 05:04)
The food is delicious however there could be a long wait especially if there are larger table crowds.

The food standard have dropped in comparison to the old days. Very disappointed after taking my family for dinner there. With that price, plenty of other options.. only the steam fish and sanlow beehoon is nice.. the rest is quite poorly cooked
Baby Boy Singh (10/10/2017 01:50)
Used to be one of the best places to dine in when in JB but the portion and quality of food has significantly dropped compared months/years back. Quite pricey too. We don't mind pricey food but the quality and portion must be both there. It has become a money making business rather than the family, quality, home-cooked makan place it used to be.
lim singeng (01/10/2017 15:15)
The bihun ia nice. Other than it was ok. I m speaking frm kl perspective... mayb v have more variety i guess....

The 3 storey aka San Low Bee Hoon is the best. The rest of the seafood and meat dishes are pretty decent as well. Come with a children playground. The have good valet parking as well.
Ian Teo (12/08/2017 13:09)
The San Low beehoon here is such a homely dish. Without a doubt! And of course many other good dishes
Jack Tan (05/08/2017 02:05)
The food is OK but as others have pointed out, the service is pretty bad. I went there for a quick bite and we had to wait and the waitresses were rude. The portions were small.

Good parking space and Nice food. Not all is good, best to ask waitress for recommendations
Florence Ng (08/07/2017 15:50)
After ordering the food was told to wait abt 30mins but after 45mins food still not served, ask a senior waitress, was so call told off with a rather frustrated tone that waiting for 1hr or more is normal during peak hours, while we jus wanted to check if our order has been placed yet. So we waited for another 5 mins and check with another waitress who happens to pass by. By 1hr plus, the first dish is serve but it is not what we ordered. Waitress there dont bother to check our order before sending to kitchen. Nevertheless, food, the 排骨王 was really bad, we only ate a few pieces, the rest is still edible(not delicious but acceptable). We went to pay the bill at counter as we cant get anyone to serve the bill(no big deal) but was given a black face.
If u guys wan to feel like this is the only restaurant in this world u can come here.
Colin Low (04/07/2017 11:54)
Ran out of crabs by 8pm, which was surprising for me since it's a seafood restaurant. The fried veggies were just plain oily and there was barely any garlic added. The teochew orh Nee (yam dessert) was similarly terribly oily and frankly not very tasty. Worst of all was the service. Way understaffed and took us almost half an hour just to get someone to look our way to take our order. And then it took a full hour for the food to get to us. #disappoints

Tourist trap with below average overpriced food. Would not recommend.
Ming Yang Koh (11/06/2017 11:36)
This place is very popular and reputed place. Came here before but our recent visit is quite hit and miss. As the waitresses are quite busy, don't expect the best service. Some dishes are great some dishes are meh. The San lou mifen is a must try. Seafood dishes should be good too. Meat dishes not so. Be prepared to wait a long time for food.
Chris Tan (11/06/2017 10:06)
Their speciality San Low mee fen is very unique and nice. Zi char is normal. Very crowded and very slow service.
Lim hun yuen (01/05/2017 08:57)
Food quality are not consistent. Poor customer service with many foreign workers. Seafoods are expensive. Favorite restaurant for Singaporeans.
GWEE WEIXIAN (15/04/2017 14:55)
Slow service, too many waitress but noone wants to serve us. The food portion is too small, large plate of bee hoon can only feed 4 pax? Ridiculous!
Ivan Wong (21/03/2017 13:11)
This place food is sucks when crowded, tasteless prawn and worst Mee Hun ever! Canteen aunty also can cook better
Tanlak Tho (03/03/2017 18:00)
Good food. Reasonable price. Food deliver fast
Yayu Wang (15/02/2017 13:58)
Bingo! The service is terribly bad! It was at 1640hrs with a very heavy downpour. Seated for 10mins yet no one bothered to take orders, not even a menu!! Everyone was 'busy' crowding the table for dinner. Giving me a remark that I am interupting them :(
Decided to order only takeaway bee hoon. Only ONE SINGLE order yet that BLACK-FACED AUNTIE could still order wrongly and could still argue that I ordered wrongly! My mum was my proof, man!
To the Boss of Sanlow, then please open your restaurant at 1800hrs where ALL your staff are well-fed, not hungry (THEREFORE not ANGRY!!) to serve your clients. Only if you still value your clients..
deming wong (15/01/2017 15:56)
The beehoon was good but also the only thing worth traveling down for. The rest of the dishes were average. But price was reasonable and service acceptable.
Eunice Ng (08/01/2017 03:06)
Food were nice. However the portion of the food given were not as worthy as the price we pay. Bee hoon is a must try food over there, do order the extreme large one if you are going in a group. 6 of us go for large but the portion seem to be only for 2-3. The only food that pleased me was the prawn. We ordered small pot but it turned up very big in size. In short, this restaurant gave us surprise in the portion and price of food. Otherwise, the food were quite nice.
Neilson Chia (26/12/2016 01:23)
Overall the food taste is okay but staff attitude is worst. RM 15 for a very small portion of asparagus.
wholesale closet (20/12/2016 15:35)
Terrible service . Food vice, nice.
Call to order take so long. Even call for bill pun 1/2hr. All staff working in slow motion and deaf too!!!! Even they look at you to answer your request, stillllllll, no action... Waste breath! Luckily food nice, if not, wasting time too
Hong Janet (27/09/2016 15:25)
Bad service. Waitress showing black face when taking order, cashier show black face when we making payment. Crab is overpriced. Stated as 1kg- RM110. So, we ordered 1 to take away, they never weight the crab. When we reach home, by looking at it felt small. After weighing it, it was less than 550g together with box, n we paid $85 for it. Although the beehoon is nice but will not go there again.
Ng Ju Keat (27/08/2016 03:54)
We ordered a chilli crab, but was told it was sold out so we changed it into butter crab. After some time, a plate of chilli crab was served to our table. I immediately called on the waiter that took our order to cancle the butter crab. She told me with a dumb ass face saying cooking already. So because of her mistake or whoever's I am supposed to pay for 2 crab dishes? I was forced to actually. Plus the fried beehoon took 1 hour to be served. Never will I be visiting them again and also, their service is really bad and slow.
Gregory 俊 (12/07/2016 15:28)
I had visited this restaurant for years
Their signature San Low beehoon was really nice, but the most recent time i visited feel that somehow they might have lost it's quality, the taste was not as good as before
And one of the waitress was not really showing friendliness while taking order from us
I really support this restaurant, hope will always maintain it's professionalism
Celine Ann (05/07/2016 05:18)
Heard ppl around compliment its san lou fried meehoon and i ordered and tried was totally dissappointed. Its texture was so tasteless and oily some portion even uncooked. But it was ok for crabs which the price was reasonable. Overall you may hv to wait at least 30 mins or more for your dishes to be served.
Liza K (02/07/2016 12:40)
Waited for 40 minutes for first dish to appear. We ordered cereal prawn, hot plate tofu, minced meat tofu, sambal lala (clams), stir-fried kailan (vegetables) and all were NOT TASTY. Severely under-whelming; no idea why there's a crowd. The only redeeming quality is that dishes are priced reasonably, e.g they quoted crab as 1kg for RM110. Will NOT be returning to this place.
Benny Wan (15/06/2016 01:38)
I have been dinning in this restaurant since early 2000, I am disappointed with the food and services. I am not sure why it's still crowded JB must have better restaurants than this, my guess it's still relying on its past reputation. For the first time we never finished the fried mee hoon, highly not recommended.
