one of the best aquariums I have been to.
$38 per adult i would say the price is on par with other aquariums like the Chicago Shedd.
This aquarium doesn't have any whales, dolphins, or penguins (and frankly I am glad as it makes me a bit sad to see them cooped up (not a fan of places like sea world) but they have several amazing large to mega large tanks.
I recommend going early to beat the crowds and I would also recommend going in the opposite direction to further beat the crowds.
There are two tunnel tanks one with large fish and the second (amazing) tank has several types of sharks, a few manta rays, and string rays.
There is also one enormous / gigantic tank which is the size of a huge movie screen absolutely fantastic
This aquarium is really well laid out and well done. I highly recommend seeing this aquarium.

It's smaller than we expected, but it is still one of the most beautiful places i have ever been. We can feel the love for the ocean and its creatures. We really admire their great effort in raising awareness to protect the ocean through programs for young kids.

SEA Aquarium on Sentosa Island is one of Singapore’s finest family-friendly, all-weather attractions. It’s also one of the largest aquariums in the world, with over 100,000 aquatic animals to discover. There are creatures from all the world’s major oceans, with tanks specially designed to recreate the conditions of their natural habitats. There are 10 zones and 50 different habitats, all within this huge venue. We advise allowing at least three hours to explore Singapore’s best aquarium properly.

If you are planning to visit Sentosa Island, then this is definitely the place not to miss out. I would advise you to spend at least an hour patiently.
It costs you 1 point/credit if you are buying the fun pass but it is worth those points. Wonderful experience in and out, great ambience and relieves all the fatigue of the whole day. Visit with family or friends and experience it in Sentosa Island. After this I advise you to definitely visit the show "Wings of time". Hope you have a great day.

Great Aquarium, the Sharks and the big tank were the most amazing things the Aquarium had to offer and they were great. The other things were just like any other Aquarium though, which isn't a bad thing, but If you've seen sharks from close or even above you, or you've seen one of the biggest Fish tanks in the world, this might be nothing new for you.
Still a great Aquarium, that I can definitely recommend!

Quite intriguing aquarium. The entrance is through a tunnel which acts as a display itself and it was quite memorable. Wide variety of sea creatures/fishes are for display and they were arrange in quite a great order. The restaurant makes you feels odd as we are eating the fishery which we just enjoyed watching swim. But the atmosphere is quite memorable there as well. The view from the outside directs to the main land.

Quite good. Vast range of aquatic creatures. Includes penguins too. One display room has a huge curved glass front , wall to wall, which is awesome. Worth the time and entrance fee. I would rate it as a must see when one visits Sentosa Island.
Parents must take children to this aquarium for a first hand learning experience

This place is so full of life. We got a glimpse of all the marine life across the world. The fish tanks are huge and they have marine plants and animals which are rare too. The trip was very informative and there were shows too. A must visit when you are at Sentosa island. This was my first visit to the sea aquarium and I will go there again for sure!

Great collection of fishes including sharks, sting rays, octopuses, etc. Dining options inside are limited so best to eat before you enter the aquarium. Good for a 2-3 hour visit. Kids will love it.

Amazing place. You'll feel more than amazed.
One of the tanks here is huge, that it is one of the largest in the world. The panel of the tank is 70CM thick.
There are many other amazing things. You can also get food there itself.
Check the feeding time of the large tank and plan your visit. Don't miss to see that.

Huge number of aquatic displays to enjoy, in a comfortable facility. The entry price is a little steep, I think half of what we paid ($34SGD) would have been more appropriate, although I guess it is funding species conservation. The huge ocean display with its 70cm thick acrylic window was quite breathtaking, however I found the smaller displays with the rarer and unique species more interesting. Crowding was a problem, even on a weekday however there were still opportunities for some nice photos.

Brilliant execution from start to finish. A wonderful aquarium with natural habitat displays for marine life. You can easily spend 2 or 3 hours here.
Entry price was $92 for 2 adults and 1 child. Highly recommended.

Brilliant. This is not a place to rush through. I suggest coming here when you have a good few hours available and a good book would not go a miss. There is one room towards the end that has a vast aquarium and lots of steps to sit on and just watch the fish floating by. This was one of the highlights of Sentosa for the family.

Only 3 words to describe, Amazing, Amazing & Amazing. Massive structure with zillion species of sea creatures at one place. Definitely recommended place to visit, have a good 2-3 hours for this place. Mesmerizing aquatic experience.
Beatrice Lee (11/07/2017 04:20)
One of my favourite places to be! I particularly love the Open Ocean tank and the mesmerizing manta rays. Best to visit on a weekday when it's less crowded though or you'll be fighting to catch a glimpse of the marine animals with throngs of other tourists.

It's a great way to spend a Sunday. We booked tickets online so could skip all queues and just go straight into the aquarium. The ticketing queue didn't look long though. We visited just before lunch time so the crowds weren't that bad. Things seemed to pick up during and just after lunch with a visible increase in people going through the different viewing stations. There were lots of small kids, so if you prefer a less kiddy afternoon, go during the week when it's not a school holiday.
There's a wonderful variety of sea life from different regions and the creatures look healthy and well cared for. There is a wide variety of eateries and cafes just outside the aquarium. Perfect if you want to enjoy lunch before or after your visit. Make sure your taxi drops you at the correct point. We used the casino entrance. The walk to the aquarium was short from there.

Love LOVE LOVE this place! Clean and beautiful display of the underwater world. They have divers who spend their time delicately brushing off the coral to keep it clean and healthy.
We went during the weekend, with a 16 month old and a 4 and a half yr old. Both loved it the minute we walked in.
I'd recommend arriving early like we did, 10am start. The crowds were still small, making it easy to get around the aquarium. This was very important for us as we had a pram. As we were leaving around noon, you could see it getting busier.
There is not much dead space at the aquarium so you are constantly seeing creatures. In some aquariums I've been you have to walk far between exhibits with nothing to engage or entertain the little ones. The fact there was always another "fishy" to see really helped us move along and keep the enthusiasm up.
Loved the massive glass tank about halfway through the aquarium. Perfect spot to stop for a treat (which they obviously thought would be too as they have a treat cart there ready to help you spend your $$) and have some packed lunch. Great underwater picnic area.
If you like or love aquariums then this is to be seen. Will not disappoint!

This is also one of the most exciting places to visit in the world. Many kinds of fish and coral are raised there with the proper description.
The tour guide is really helpful.
S.E.A Aquarium is definitely suitable for children to get the knowledge of the ocean and its creatures.
Highly recommended!!!!

Well it really was mind blowing with sharks to jelly fishes to other exotic fishes. You can easily spend hours admiring those aquatic beauties in the well built aquarium that gives you the complete feeling of being one with these creatures.

The staff were not helpful to my wife who had to nurse. While she asked if she could go to the nursing room and what she needed to comeback she got stamped and no other instruction. Having finished nursing and going back the staffer was demanding her give a ticket even if that staff was present when another one let her go to the nursing room. I hope the management clarify the protocols and goals to the staff. It would be cheaper for common sense than to have to engineer process Protocols for people leaving for reasonable things who need to get back. I hope the behavior is corrected.

Visited on the same day after visit to USS. combo tickets purchased.
This is very vast aquarium.. Housing marine life from South East Asia hence name sea..
Almost 3 stroy pool with stingrays was highlight.. All the aquariums inside were great day gave great photo opportunities. Jellyfish were the stars.. ..
Takes 1 2 hours to visit..
Paul Smith (09/05/2017 14:29)
Once you've been to a couple of aquarium's, this place is remarkably similar - just on a bigger scale.
Kids will still definitely enjoy the experience, and as always they loved the touch pool.
Was pretty busy considering it was a normal weekday. Can only imagine how busy this place must get on a weekend.
Good place to spend an hour or two on a typical hot and/or wet Singapore day.

Great place to experience colorful life under water. So many species, so many colors. A beautiful experience
Aylish Purcell (27/03/2017 12:44)
Everywhere we go, we make it our business to visit any aquariums. This aquarium is not bad, however even on a Monday it was relatively busy and the windows which allow you to view the displays are sometimes very small, making it quite crowded and rushed.
The large tank at the end has a large area to sit and view which is great.
Priya Rangarajan (24/03/2017 18:22)
Colors, colors, colors! I don't think I have experienced so many colors in a span of two hours. My eyes were awed by the water species and the giant tank that is home to one of the biggest manta ray was a view. The illuminating jelly fish was spectacular. I am at loss of words to express the feeling when I visited these beautiful creatures.
Johnray Lee (05/01/2017 12:41)
Love the giant tank. Its a good place for you to sit and just relax. enjoy watching the fishes swim by.
There is a small room where there is a panel right above you. don't be shy to lie on the floor and watch the manta swim above you. cause that will probably be the closest you'll get to diving if you're afraid.
Tiffani Ng (15/12/2016 05:25)
A really beautiful aquarium (though it didn't really FEEL like the "largest aquarium in the world" as it so claims). It was a bit more expensive than the other museums in Singapore, plus you have to pay to get into Sentosa (unless you want to suffer that 30 min walk across the bridge). I really enjoyed the almost 360deg tubes where can watch sharks swim above and around us, and the jellyfish section was breathtaking. I thought that there could be more labels, or at least more interactive stations that told us more about the sea life in each tank.
Ankit Mohanty (26/11/2016 20:41)
You cannot miss this if you are in Singapore. The best sea aquarium you will ever witness. All varieties of underwater creatures. Fun to bring kids along. Highly informative place. Do not get into a conversation with folks trying to convince you to click photographs.
Gary McRae (14/11/2016 12:52)
If you are looking for creatures of the sea then you have come to the right place.
This aquarium is very impressive. As with any tourist trap it can get very busy. Despite that the selection of fish and the like is wonderful.
Worth a visit if this kind of thing floats your boat ;)

Family Friendly Aquarium!
Location: Conveniently located in the heart of Sentosa opposite of Universal Studios!
Exhibits: There are many fishes that I have never seen in my life! However, the aquarium itself is generally smaller than expected. The main exhibit is noteworthy and where you will spend the majority of your time.
Key Takeaway: If you are traveling with kids, this is a MUST GO in Singapore.
Visited October 2016.
