There is Fun Toast near Exit B. So, you have a quick grab of kaya and one other toasts, and coffee. Can sit down on a table to for noodle soup meals.

With only the downtown line passing through this station its not as crowded. Very close to the Sim Lim Square.

Nice travel with MRT....
Rochor MRT Station (DT13) is an underground station along the Downtown Line (DTL) Stage 2, located at the boundaries of the Little India and Bencoolen planning subzones. It is built underneath Sungei Road and Rochor Canal Road, serving parts of the vibrant Bugis, Rochor and Little India district.
Singapore MRT is a quick, affordable and particularly convenient way to get around to all corners of Singapore. Five lines connect over 100 stations across the island, with the Singapore MRT network connecting the airport on the East with downtown Singapore, the Central Business District, Orchard Road, Little India, Chinatown, Marina Bay, Bugis and Kampong Glam, as well as all the suburbs in the north and western districts of the country. Single journeys on the Singapore MRT are available for around $1-2, although the most economical option is to purchase an ez-link card (S$12, with S$7 of balance and S$5 being a refundable deposit). The cost for your MRT trip will range from 60 cents to SG$ 1.50, depending on how far you want to travel. You can top-up up to S$100 and take multiple trips via MRT and public bus, until the value runs out.

I visit this station mostly when I need to buy something at Sim Lim square:)
I always see many students but there’s some residential building as well.
One day I visit my Friend here and feel that this is also a good place to live as I can find some interesting cafes and restaurants on the Rochor road:)
