Food was good. Expensive.
If you want to add soup, they will charge 1 dollar.
No packet of soup when u take away a packet of dry noodles.
Overall soup was very tasty but pricy.
It's quite hard to catch their timing. Sometimes they are close for 1 week straight . But it's not updated in Google map.
Worth a visit

The place is very hot so prepare to sweat. But food is above average so worth the wait and sweating. Usually have to wait just to get a table. Order at the store, pay and get a number. When the display shows your number then go get your food.

Above average prawn noodle. The broth is on the sweeter side. Prefer the one at bendeemer market

1 of my top choices for quality tasting prawn noodles! Other than their priceless soup broth, this eatery offers plenty of choices in terms of noodle types, ingredients, and the flexibility to add chili powder for the extra spicy taste. Plenty of parking now with a new shopping mall up and running. 👍

Tasty noodles. But the soup is full of msg and it makes you so thirsty after that. This is the last time I am coming here.

Great food! Expect extremely long queues for lunch. Slightly pricey but value for money cos it's good. However drink stall's teh bing and coffee is not nice... You have been cautioned.. (:

Good old prawn broth! Served by the sister during the day and by the brother during the night; family business. Small prawns have no she'll so easier to eat but always sold out. Complemented well by the ngoh hiang directly across the road. Personally think the broth cooked by the brother at night is nicer.
Hsin Ching Teo (11/03/2018 08:57)
So out of the way, but really power soup, and open late into the night if you crave supper. Hop onto one of those shared bikes and cycle there to make yourself feel less guilty for indulging. For some reason, I prefer the soup version of this, even though I'm usually more of a dry person.
Edwin Howe (06/03/2018 07:55)
The soup is good. However, they can run out of bee hoon, small prawns. I prefer small prawns as big prawns is quit messy to eat. If there's some water spinach or bean sprouts or both, it would have fantastic..

Actually there is 2 rating for this store cos there is 2 group of ppl here.. morning to afternoon, the sisters are the one selling... I would give 3 stars for their noodle n soup. But from the evening the brother takes over n I could really taste a great different in the prawn noodle! The evening hours I would give 4.5 stars!

Nice local prawn noodle dish at reasonable cost. Great broth and even tastier with their chili powder which you can add, according to your taste. Usually crowded during lunch/dinner time so do come early.

Very tasty prawn noodle soup. Ask the regular client, most will tell u so. But after eating, you will feel thirsty even after few hours. So u know where I'm coming from.

My favourite Prawn Mee, supper place, go to place, comfort food in Singapore. Order their Prawn Mee dry, and it will change your life. After having their dry Prawn Mee, I've never gone back to Prawn Mee soup, and no other Prawn Mee places have been able to match up to their flavour (I keep trying). The only caveats is that the place is quite complicated to go to because it's off a very busy junction and finding parking can be tough. They open till late though, so it's the best supper place :)
Karen C (07/09/2017 09:12)
The prawn mee broth here has got the depth. I would recommend the dry version as the noodles are much more flavourful. It's spicy though, so be warned!

This prawn mee has been around for ages but their standard has dropped a lot over the years. While the noodles are relatively good and pretty springy, their broth is really sweet and masks the prawn fragrance.. pretty nice that they have many different options like the addition of clams or pork ribs but overall not very impressive
Mun Yang Tham (11/07/2017 04:01)
Have been coming to this place for more than 10 years already and the meal doesn't disappoint. Tasty broth, yummy fish cakes and fresh prawns. Be prepared to wait if you come during peak meal times though, but you don't have to queue as they have a number system.

best prawn mee (soup) in town. the best is just small prawn with some pork ribs yellow noodle. best eaten at night. the soup taste so good. check/call before going as they rarely closed on some random day
Abigail Sutjiawang (24/06/2017 04:10)
if you're looking forward to a light yet rich prawn noodle soup, you should come over.
not only prawns but also a variery of seafood available like abalone clams and baby abalone. there are also options with pork like pork ribs and pork intestines.
the seafood enhance the rich oceanic flavours and the juicy and soft pork enhance the richness of the soup.

Do note that the same store are run by different groups of people for daytime and night time, and taste slightly different.
the taste might be alittle too strong for western taste buds, but for those who are comfortable with spicy and more savory food, the prawn broth is awesome.
do note that the place is quite hot and humid in the afternoon. Expect waiting for up to 15 minutes

Best prawn noodles. Good service and reasonable price. Very nice and authentic Singaporean meal. If you are pondering if you want to pay $1 extra for takeaway soup.. it's worth it.
Sebestian Szeto (28/04/2017 03:38)
One of my favorite local prawn noodles. The broth is rich n sweet, the red prawns r always fresh. I like to add the pig tails n intestines.
Tommy Lim (13/04/2017 07:30)
A slightly different prawn soup, a bit sweeter than usual. The prawns are decent and the pork ribs slides off the bone, just the way I like it. Recommended!
Evonne Ng (02/04/2017 15:14)
One of my favorite places for prawn noodles, open *almost* 24 hours a day (they have 2 stalls in one coffee shop taking turns to open, but expect a few hours for cooking time etc)
Patrick Teo (04/03/2017 09:58)
It's quite well known for it's prawn noodles and that's what this coffee shop sells. Usually quite busy.
It's next to another big coffee shop with a bigger variety of food that is 24x7. Parking is usually problematical and customers parked haphazardly which also results in frequent visits by LTA parking officers.
There's a whole series of condo developments with new shops coming up soon nearby that will change the neighbourhood setting.

Great if you love prawn mee. South of the river... 😂 😜
Jackson Seng (28/02/2017 11:42)
The soup is sweet like sugar water. I don't think it's boiled for long hour, more like mixing sugar with spices to create the taste. Big prawns noodle but prawns are very small.
Rei Lim (17/01/2017 10:35)
One of the best prawn noodles locally. The broth is rich and delicious, and the servings are generous. The place is not easily accessible. Good for late night supper if you have a car.
Chong KaiLian (10/01/2017 12:23)
Great place for supper! Even though their opening hours stated till 430am. They are almost sold out at 1.30am. Don't be disappointed if ure there too late!
Joshua Kow (22/10/2016 05:00)
Fantastic bowl of prawn and pork rib noodles! Comes in both soup and dry versions, but ask for the soup version to get more of that amazing prawn stock base with your meal.
Desmond Wong (15/10/2016 07:35)
One of my favorite prawn noodles in Singapore. Both the day and night store are good. Service is not fantastic and staff can be rude.
Balee Tong (11/09/2016 03:07)
This place was a bit tedious to get to from those staying along the green line. Those who make the journey are rewarded with soup stock that may have been simmered with bones and prawn shells for days. Good stuff. Their signature is the prawn and pork ribs and i gave their homemade fish cakes a shot. I loved their signature with the big succulent prawns and fall off the bones ribs. The fish cake does not hold a candle to the best ones i've tried in Hokkaido (fresh off the factory) but makes a good accompaniment to the soup. Maybe they need to be piping hot to be good. For the uninitiated, you order at the payment counter where you will be given a number. You wait for the number to be called in a language you might not understand. You then walk up, surrender the number and your order is prepared there and then. I didn't know this, so i sat there twiddling my phone for quite a while.

Desmond Chua (26/05/2016 15:32)
One of my top favourite prawn noodles since more than 15 years ago. The broth is heavenly. It's gotten pricier over the years, has no air-conditioning and is usually crowded, but I keep coming back.
Phua Yong Bin Eddie (27/03/2016 02:53)
Extra charges for extra soup and other condiments. But you most likely won't need it.
Has a numbered queue system so you roughly know the wait time.
Can pack Ngoh Hiang from opposite stall and bring over and eat while waiting.
Kim (12/03/2016 12:41)
Okay...decent but abit over priced, $7.50 for a bowel of medium bowel.
there are definitely better one ard.
Chenyze LoveFood (21/02/2016 06:54)
Soup is flavourful but the wait is quite long and the staff are very grouchy. The good stuff run out around 1pm so you'll need to come down early.
