Apple strudel was all the range back in the early 2000s and food fads coming and going is as typical a Singapore story as any. Ritz is likely the last hold out of that fad, with this outlet being kept afloat by a coterie of faithful repeat customers. The strudel pastry is decent, the cream is good and apples have adequate flavor and bite, but Singaporeans being well-traveled lot have come to expect more. Good but a little dated I think.

Just tried a stand in North Point Yishun. Very poor, rude service and even worse apple struddle. Have had same from other location. This was horrible. I really liked the shop until this. Don't think ever buy from them again.

Strange to come to a Strudel place to order cakes ($15.10 for these 3 slices)... But we didn't want the flaky pastry to aggravate our coughs. I'm not surprised with my experience here. Small tables that sit only 8 people in total, & cashier area is very small too. Most people here place orders to go. & we probably should've done that too, because our chocolate cake & cheesecake were both taken out from the freezer. Rock. Solid. Hard. Very difficult to eat immediately - which the cashier did make known to us when we ordered so... It's not her fault.
There are way better cakes elsewhere, so stick to their Strudel is what I'd recommend.
💳 Accepts credit cards
🌬️ Air conditioned seats only (like, 8 chairs)

Superb strudel, some of the best I've tried. Place is small but quiet.

Love the strudels here. They're known for their Apple strudel (12.50 for half, 23.50 for a full foot long). Recently we've started to really enjoy their other flavours as well, such as durian. Very crisp finish. Parking at the Bukit timah outlet is easy, great for takeaways and free 10 min to grab and go.

Bought a mini apple strudel to try for the next morning. Pastry was limp. It was just a piece of puff pastry baked to perfection, sliced in half, topped with canned stewed diced apples and slices of margarine.
As far as I am concerned, this is not apple strudel at all. It should not be sold or touted as apple strudel.
I saw the staff putting whatever unsold pastries into a chest freezer. Was what I bought an unsold leftover from the night before?
