Valentino had became my favorite go-to restaurant for gatherings and fancy occasions. The squid ink pasta and tomahawk is a must try. The ciabatta and dip is heavenly. The service staff is always on point. Never a bad time here!

Being a once in a while patron of Ristorante Da Valentino, we thought we would let our 17yr old carnivore son try out the 250gm Tomahawk Wagu steak. Well after seeing our son tenderly savouring piece buy piece and listening to his sighs of delight as he gently chewed each piece and gently swallowed, I had to try a piece.
I have to say the little pieces my wife and I got to try were absolutely melt in your mouth, succulent and flavoursome.
The tenderness and subtle hint of smokiness from the chargrilled wagu is truly something to experience.
To quote a common phrase here in Singapore, "Die Die Must Try"

Good ambiance and staffs is attentive. Food quality is above average and the house wine is value for money. Mushroom Parma pizza nicely done and the lamb shank is savory and succulent. The pork chop marinated with moscato is tender and juicy and well marinated.

Felt like I was back in Tuscany when I came here!
A very welcoming place. The decor was typical Italian home-style, with lost of things here and there, portaits of famous people pn the walls.
Great italian dining experience with good service. Will be back for sure!

Came here 2x alr, and my picky parents love this place. :) worth the price cos the pasta IS SO GOOD. Like , this is what pasta is. After you eat the pasta here - you will wonder what you have been consuming all your life. That’s what I mean. Pizza is also pretty good and burrata - AHMAZING.
It is very obvious this place runs on regulars and is a family business. Service is very professional and attentive. But if you become a regular - the service is very warm. :) I didn’t get it sadly, maybe cos I budget and not Ang moh. And not super knowledgeable about Italian food 😅😅 but I saw that the owner was sharing a glass of wine with some regulars and chit chatting. Very cute.
Ambience wise - very big . Super good for big crowds. What’s even bigger - are the toilets. Each cubicle is ... like the size of a Japanese pod room. I’m not kidding. The Japanese probably can fit a bed, a tv, a toilet (inside this toilet), a table, and probably a wardrobe and still got place to somersault.
Anyhow - great pasta. Just eat the crab meat squid ink pasta. SO SHIOK YOU WILL SPEAK ITALIAN AFTER.

Best italian restaurant in Singapore!
Mushroom soup is amazing with a tinge of truffle.
Fried Calamari is fried to perfection, the sauce and lemon goes well with the dish.
I highly recommend the Squid Ink Fettuccine with Crabmeat and creamy tomato sauce.
Wagyu Tomahawk Beef is well seasoned, juicy and grilled to perfection. It is done so well that it can be eaten with just a sprinkle of salt. The potatoes are also very well cooked. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
The House pour red wine is amazing.
Ristorante Da Valentino is definitely worth the try and worth every penny!

Kind of disappointed on the signature squid ink pasta, it was different from the dish I had when they were at the old location. The pasta was too hard, the white cream was too rich and doesn't have the same squid ink color and taste like before.
The good thing is the ricotto cheese with tomato salad more than compensate for the main dish.

Lovely experience. Wine selection was impressive, freshly toasted bread fantastic, pizzas were perfect, pasta was great, grilled lamb was average but an overall 5 star experience with matching attentive service.

A lively place with a good variety of Italian menu. We had pizza and lasagna with red wine... and dessert Cream Cremebrulee. Was awesome. Overall an amazing experience.
Ambience is also superbly Italian. The feel and warmth can be felt. A class above many I have visited. 5 stars.

Their burrata and pastas are hyper legitimate. I was very pleasantly surprised with the overall vibe and feel of this Italian restaurant, that felt very homely. The entrance can feel a little cluttered with many things going on, especially with sales of wine equipment as well, and a bar facing the entrance, and numerous photos of famous people visiting being hung on the wall. That said, once you're seated, and you start the whole dining experience going, things just flow as they should, and you get a pretty seamless Italian dining experience with good service from the experienced staff onsite. Very impressed, good job team!

Pretty good Italian food, ambience is nice. When it's busy the service is affected, could be better. It's pricier than other Italian restaurants of similar quality.

Best gnocchi I have eaten. Authentic food and prompt service. A bit too prompt as you hardly have time to just sit to digest in between the courses!

Good quality of food with authentic taste. Average presentation and service not in line with the excessive price of some items. There are better alternative in Singapore.

The beef cheek was really nicely done. The sauce was delightful and the beef cheek melts in your mouth. I must say I've never been more satisfied with beef cheek anywhere else in Singapore.

Awesome Italian food; very fresh and well done. Comes at a cost though. The waiters are very polite and attentive.

Authentic Italian fare in a charming place that almost transports you to Italy. The interesting crab meat pizza is awesome and crispy. Love their squid ink crab pasta too. Ciabatta breads are good (they serve first portion complimentary). Prices are on the high side though.

The moscato La Spinetta is wonderful!

They have delicious bread as starters that we could eat all day. The pizza and pasta were authentic with all the right flavors. Ambience was top notch. Service was attentive. However, prices are on the steep side.

Dedicated big wine cellar to keep your wine. Huge selection of italian wine. Amazing homemade limoncello. Froze a layer of ice and lemon slice around the bottle. Very nice presentation. Wonderfully delicious chocolate cake, Torta Valentino. Best chocolate cake I have eaten.

One of the best Italian family restaurants I've ever been to in singapore.
Michael Silbermann (05/09/2016 13:13)
Best Italian restaurant in Singapore run by an Italian family. We visited it for my wife's birthday. First thing that catches the eye is the authentic deco and spacious rooms. Burrata & tomatoes was awesome, pizza had a thin crust and was perfectly baked as a true Italian pizza. Finally, tiramisu with a birthday candle was a perfect pinnacle of our evening. All in all great experience and we certainly will be back! PS: reservation highly recommended, we didn't have one and were very lucky to get the last available table.

True italian food experience. The strenght from the family. Best italian wine cellar
Timothy Santoso (22/09/2016 12:13)
Amazing authentic Italian food with hearty portions, cosy ambience and excellent service
Rob W (08/09/2016 13:24)
Overpriced and the food was overrated. They charged $15 for bread which they did not say it would cost us. Also ask if we want bone with our steak and then charge us $20. Again no indication. I don't like that type of business where you do not inform your customer and then just bill.

My favorite italian restaurant in Singapore. Maybe outside of Italy. Great friendly service and amazing homemade food... Reminds me of my italian grandma!!! Ask for the specials of the day, but you can't go wrong with any choice.
Spare room for dessert as they are fabulous.
And book in advance as they are usually full!!
Will keep going back❤️

Good food, al dente pasta. T-bone steak is excellent, but their lemoncello is the one that completes the course.
Jordan Tan (05/07/2016 17:05)
Consistently quality food, flavorful, perfect texture and right taste everytime. The wonderful interior whisk you away to Italy. Friendly and professional staff members make dining there memorable.

I love the food! It's great authentic Italian food and the wine selection is fantastic. Very authentic Italian restaurant. Can be slightly more expensive but I think it's worth it.
