Great environment. Half the seating under shelter. The other half under the sky and the stars. You'll get to enjoy the breeze and the waves that go under the platform.

Just a seafood restaurant that’s by the sea. Quality and taste wise, just average at bests only. Went to this place 2 times, the crab during this 2 visit was disappointing as the meat was very mushy

Definitely 5 stars. Huge range of fresh seafood to choose from. Price is very affordable and food is very tasty. The resturant is hidden away but there is proper road that leads to the resturant.

Having dinner over here with my Wife.
Staff attitude: 2/10 auntie take order like we owe her money
Environment: 5/10 noisy. Typical restaurant.
Price: 7/10 not cheap but not expensive too XD
Freshness: 7/10 crab was good but not the prawn
Transport: 0/10 you have to drive there or taxi
Will I go there again? Maybe...

I always come here for seafood with family. Fresh, price is reasonable, good vibes... however, quality of taste of food varies sometimes across meal time. But it is to be expected I suppose when cooking so many kinds of dishes for a large restaurant so quickly! Its impressive.
Anyway, take a detour to this place. At least for the sea side al fresco experience.

The place is really crowded, especially if go on the weekends. The staff won't help you find a table, you'll have to stand around wait for other people to finish eating then grab the table. The food was good, all the seafood are fresh as they kept em alive in the aquariums. You can choose anything you want to eat such as crabs, fish and other seafood. If you order chili crab, make sure you get the fried mantou too, dip the mantou in the chili crab sauce, it tastes delicious. The price is reasonable as all the seafood are fresh.

80s feel, lively atmosphere, food is great especially the prawns (super fresh!) and it’s very affordable! 6 of us paid 500ringgit for a feast! will definitely come back here for a yummy seafood meal by the sea. wait staff can take awhile to respond, just gotto be patient.

A bumpy taxi ride to a remote area along the coast of Malaysia brought us to Restoran Todak, a place my friends have been raving about for quite some time.
Known for its fresh seafood and crabs, the place is packed with Malaysians and Singaporeans alike so it's best to come before 6pm unless you want to stand around waiting for a seat.
We had the whole shebang of crabs and fish but this one dish stood out for its fragrant coconutty broth, the Indonesian Prawns. Fresh prawns simmered in this amazing spiced up coconut broth had us lapping up all the juices with the giant fried bread rolls and pouring it all over our rice. Good stuff cannot bluff, totally worth the trip just for this 😍

Food is good, served fast and “Tasty”. Sweet, oily, too much msg kind of tasty. Yea..delicious but not so healthy.
Service? Good if youre early. The WORST if its full. They will totally ignore you and not clean the tables at all even when the staffs are not doing much. Expect yourself to Rage and make a Fuss there till they clean the table you choose. Staffs are not rude, just lazy and ignorant.

Food was good and decently priced. However, avoid coming during weekends between 7-9pm. It’s super chaotic during this timing and you’ll have difficulty getting seats. Overall, a good seafood restaurant.

Delicious and relatively cheap seafood restaurant. The fish were especially fresh. What I don't understand is how our chosen 1 male crab would become 2 smaller-sized female crabs.

Relatively cheap and good seafood! Quite an impressive variety available. Come at off-peak timings or prepare to wait quite a bit for a table. Singaporeans visiting would be happy that you can still get your local signal from this place

Good food..amazing sea shore... Value for money... Surprisingly cheap on certain items, get to pick your own portion of seafood.... Love this place... Definitely coming back with more people

Cheap and tasty seafood. For the price, it's worth a ten thousand times returning. Each time my friends and I visit JB, we would eat our dose of seafood there. After visiting this place, we have decided seafood in Singapore is no longer worth our money...

Provide a Sea view above the sea water dining experience. Cam be quite warm if it is not windy. Fresh fishes and crabs. Ample parking. Price is reasonable. Service can be slow especially weekends.

Good place for fresh seafood, need to be early to get seating place. Lots of choices and food quality is good. Can't complain about service since its crowded but overall a good place to get seafood

First, You need to find/queue for table yourself. After which you will need to go to the crab area to order. You can choose the crab yourself or ask the staff to choose for you. Expect to wait for about 30 mins after ordering.
Food was great but don't expect much service. Overall quite enjoyable and reasonable price. The drunken prawn, black pepper crab and hotplate toufu were fabulous, highly recommended!

Food taste is good. But service is bad, call for the rices few times and no waiter going to serve us, at the end I went up and find the bowls and filled up by myself. What a shame.

The herbal/drunken prawn is amazing. Liquor has a tinge of soup and not the other way round. That's how awesome this dish is! Must try! 👍👍👍👍 price is amazing too. For 4 pax it is really worth the time and money. Be prepared though, Uber/grab services might take slightly longer to get to you.

I came here several times over the last few years for seafood lunch and dinner and I must commend them for keeping the price affordable while still serving seafood that are fresh (unlike the seafood restaurants in GP that have raised price).
One area that they could improve on is to help diners to the table and with the ordering. Weekend crowds here can be daunting to first time visitor and if they receive no help to the sitting and ordering, they may simply turn back and head to other eateries.

I have been there twice. It's a must-go for good value seeker. Not the top class, but good food, fresh and priced reasonably service can be slow during peak hours. You can't ask for more at this price range.

Great place for seafood, try the black pepper crabs and salted egg yolk crabs. Order the steam prawns as well. Go in the evening for a great sunset view of the sea and Singapore

It can be very crowded during dinner. I had to wait 30mins on average for each dish to be served. Seafood is fresh and reasonably priced.
