This is a clean and well maintained park. There is also a car park with a good number of parking lots. There are many trees and lots of greenery. The park surrounds a huge lake. It is great for family outings.

Punggol Park is located in Hougang area. This is a park surrounding a big lake. There is a children’s play area and many exercise areas. Monitor Lizards are often found here. With lots of huge trees providing a nice shade, This park is a perfect neighbourhood weekend getaway with family.

Park with a great playground that includes a sand pit and two swings. With bathrooms and a water cooler nearby. Has a little lake and a lawn bowling course too.

Developed with the theme "Family Leisure", Punggol Park has facilities and activities for the whole family. With an “Active Zone” located at the southern part of the pond and “Passive Zone” at the north of the pond, there is something for both young and old to enjoy.
Children can play together on the play equipment and families can engage in tai chi at the plaza area. The shady trees provide a lush, cool area for families to picnic under while bicycle tracks allow avid cyclists to enjoy a session of cycling with friends. There is also something for anglers, who can look forward to hooking their next catch at the park’s fishing promenades located around the 5-hectare pond.

The car park is along Ave 8. Not a bit car park merely enough for about 30 cars. If it’s overflow, park your car at the HDB block opposite it. There is a bistro at the car park but it only open for dinner. As a family restaurant, the price is slightly high but acceptable.

It's nice park for family bonding especially in the morning or evening. Doing exercise, brisk walking and cycling. Surrounding the park is a small pound. It is connected to Eastern Riverine Loop linking to Punggol Waterway Park.

The park was clean and very attractive with a pond at it's center. There are places to exercise and also places to spend quality time with your loved ones. Definitely worth a visit!

A family-friendly neighbourhood park surrounding a big lake. Good walking tracks, a nice playground for kids including sand pit and lots of exercising options for adults. Multiple access entries to the park from different directions is a plus. Can cycle around the lake too.

A great place to have a run after a day at work!

A park with a small pond. On weekday mornings, there are tai chi classes; on weekends (non public holidays), there are rollerskating classes. On some Sunday evenings, the Health Promotion Board holds free exercise classes. Check HPB Sundays by the Parks for details.

Quiet and great for late afternoon and evening exercise at fitness corner. Not really windy though.
Angus L (23/07/2017 01:03)
Small park but has a nice lake in the middle. Quiet busy on weekends

It's a quiet and comfortable place for chat and get together. The lake side bar temporary closed for renovation.

One of the best heartland parks I have ever visited. Wonderfully designed, running along the canals is a breeze and so so beautiful. Ends off at waterway point so you can have a shopping centre to visit once you're done with your cycle. Loads of shared bikes in the area too.
Loads of parking in The HDB blocks nearby. So that you can start exploring the park from various points. Wonderful place for exercise or for families!

Nice quite and peaceful spot. Lots of runners frequent this location for the scenic view of the lake and basically because simple a Zen place to be at.

A really small dainty park with a pond in the center. Would highly recommend ordering a drink at the bar/resturant by the pond called 'Wild Oats' around dusk and sip your evening away while enjoying the view of the park being bleached in a pink hue.
jian hua (11/04/2017 15:08)
It has a big running accompany by a beautiful lake 😍😍 Always enjoy a weekend jogging there
Zai Jin Neo (17/03/2017 09:23)
A open public park. With large scenic pond in the centre. Along with a small pub that serve finger food and drinks.
Do beware the pub isn't air con.
But if your unfazed. There's a good selection of food right across the park at block 401. It's 24 hour too.
Bhavin Sanghvi (23/02/2017 00:05)
Large open space with lots of greenery and a small reservoir in the centre. Ideal for workout and relaxing walk.
Benny Ong (09/02/2017 19:58)
Nice peaceful place to relax. And a coffee shop nearby with good food. Great for suppers!
Charlotte Chua (25/01/2017 03:33)
Surrounding some parts of the park there are barriers that you would normally see at construction sites that distracts one from the supposed scenery and park feels. There's a cool pond/lake in the center and points of shelter around that look pretty new and provide some assurance should our typical thunderstorms come round while you're at the park.

Weekly with my son. Lovely park with a view. From one end, you can see the steeples of a church. You can rent a bicycle for there. At night, you can chill by the lake at Wild Oats. One of the reasons I bought my place.

Tranquil park with a man made lake in the middle.
Its linked to PCN to Sengkang.
Good for jogging, cycling, strolling
There's a 24hr coffeeshop opp the park and a Bristo within the park itself.
Christophe Heldeis (03/09/2016 11:36)
A park with a man made lake, equipped with combined jogging & cycling tracks, fitness area, shelters, toilets, water coolers, and a restaurant. It is also a park connector to many other parks all over the island. Gets crowded with Pokemon Go-hunters as it's near a Pokestop (Block 401 Hougang Ave 10) that's just opposite, which is also a 24hr kopitiam.

Good for dratini n dragonite if u r lucky
Angeline Yeo (25/08/2016 01:07)
Nice, tranquil place but now too crowded by Pokemon Go players. There is also a coffee shop across the street with lots of good local food.
Kenrick Chan (21/06/2016 09:42)
Quiet and peaceful generally, could be really dark at certain parts. Not much entertainment except for a cafe (reviewed) and a bicycle rental. Amenities such as playground, running/ cycle track and fitness equipment are available, fishing is unconfirmed though.
Henry Cheong (13/05/2016 23:50)
Starting from Paya Lebar-Hougang to Sengkang-Punggol ending in Waterway Point it's a long stretch for a slow ride on escooter or bicycle. Towards the end of the ride you can stop by Uncle Leong's seafood, Punggol SAFRA, and Waterway Point Mall for a rewarding meal before making your way back or hop onto the MRT to go home.
jo jo (05/05/2016 06:43)
It's a nice park to walk around the pond, and has a respectably sized playground with 4 slides, and a set of swings and see saw over a sandpit. It gets really crowded at about 5pm.
The park also has an FnB outlet which serves beer, and food (nothing to post on social media about lol) western food and local food (expensive laksa etc). It's a nice place to meet friends for a drink. Limited parking! Park across the road behind the church (kpt coffee shop)
The park is quite busy in the evenings, there are many joggers and families taking a stroll from 5-9pm, it should b quite safe for female joggers in this time frame.
However, Lately there are also many large groups of men, having alcohol purchased at the 7-11 just outside the park. They tend to gather by the pond , covered gazebos and picnic tables, so I'm not sure how it's like really late into the night, but I don't think I will feel safe going for a late night jog alone, best to stick to the timings with a bigger crowd.
Other activities:
Free HPB "Sundays at the park" exercise activities on Sunday mornings.

Great Park for all ages, the scenery is very nice and it's a good place to relax, go for a jog or just chilling
eunice kay (23/04/2016 13:14)
A neighborhood park, able to do many recreational activities here, it is about 5 minutes away from Hougang MRT but many people still exercise here as they can also enjoy the scenic view of the pond.
