In the center of Batam City, one of most popular ferry terminal to across our neighbor country, Singapore. its about 30 minutes to reach this place from Hang Nadim Airport. Try the new adventurous day to sail over Singapore via Ferry by this place. You can buy online ticket or offline at the sales counter located at 2nd floor. Many vary of ferry operator, I use Sindo Ferry, bought from Marlin Booking only Rp 280.000 /person round trip all are inclusive. After check in at Sindo Ferry counter, went to the Immigration Inspection, aside of boarding card, so be ready with your passport and ID (KTP). And after boarding call, walk along the departure gate to the ferry..ready to go.

Waiting for an hour now in immigration . . . Empty counters and people chatting. Wouldnt come here again and I'm not out of port yet hahahaha

One easy way to get to Singapore from Batam. IDR 280.000 for a round trip ticket. Why not?

fuyoh.the immigration when leave work so so so slowly . im take 1.30 hour to check in and onboard .nearly miss the ship.and im leave at weekday also no much ppl.slow slow slow!!!

Never come here to enter Batam. The delays are ridiculous and the staff don't even try to help when you're queuing up to enter batam just so you can LEAVE batam (I spent the whole day at the Port cos of the delays). Gave priority to obvious "tourists" but let me miss my ferry back to Singapore.

Busiest passenger ferry terminal in Batam. Has a link bridge to a large mall. The terminal has sufficient food and a couple convenient stores

The place is spacious, the toilets are clean, the immigration check point is quiet quick (not so many queue even though on weekend).

There is an offical taxi stand right at the entrance of terminal. Go three tell to get a ticket and check price.. then they will bring you to your driver.

Having breakfast here while waiting for the walkway bridge to Mega Mall open (10 AM).
Kfc, restaurants and local snack shops at level 2. You can find indonesia SIM card, taxi and duty free shops at level 1, not much to see though!

This is second time here. The information desk is great. Phone sim card available. Stores, walkway to mall. The VIP room 50k. It's worth it. Tea, smoking room available. Free Wi-Fi.

Batam Centre is the nearest port to sail across Singapore from Hang Nadim airport. The pictures are taken from inside Sindo Ferry. Nice seat & very comfort.

It's a ferry terminal.
We came back to Singapore on Monday so not so crowded. We went to Batam through travel agent so we didn't have a headache of rushing and Q for boarding pass. If you reach here too early before your departure, you don't have to worry because there's a head over bridge at level 3 connected to the Mega mall Batam center. We spent about 1 and half hour at the mall eating and wondering around. The mall is big and many restaurants and shops inside. Better have your meals here (cheaper) rather than at Batam center. I found duty free shop didn't have much items to choose. Only flaw was that the immigration checkpoint was too small and bad aircondition. I can't imagine that during peak periods like weekends how people Q out there will have hot and smelly moment.

Harbor isn't very clean. Be prepared with US currency to pay entrance fees.

Small place with a few shops and eateries in public area, the nearest big place to browse is Mega Mall opens from late morning.

You can buy some nonya cakes eg kueh lapis at Bonza Cafe at level 1 besides the escalator before you head home on the ferry.

Great ferry terminal. Much smoother experience than expected. Shops could be a bit more varied, but if you need something and have time, you can take the pedestrian bridge to the mall across the road (access via 2nd floor).
The duty-free shop is the only one in this terminal, but the Singapore terminal has a few after your transit.

one of the 5 gateway into batam, indonesia with ferry connections to/from singapore (harbour front) and malaysia (stulang laut).
just had a make-over recently and is pretty much clean up and in better order.
