Bed bugs bed bugs and more bed bugs.
you would think after months of reviews that they would do something about this but no.
all in all its a bad hostel. avoid.

The only way I would recommend this hostel is if travellers were needing a cheaper space to stay for the night and didn't care about their living condition. The bathrooms were very small, dirty and they usually smelt awful. The brick wallpaper was falling off in our capsule. There is a no talking rule in the bedroom and security cameras on every corner, thus making it very hard to communicate with other travelers. They provided dirty slippers to use that was shared among all travellers. Free breakfast is a piece of toast with jam and half the time the jar of jam was empty... We slept under the air conditioner and we weren't able to get extra blankets the first night because there is no night staff. The location isn't the best, it's pretty far from the Gardens. The pictures displayed online did not matched what we saw in person. The common areas, where we were actually able to talk, would be rated a 0 out of 10. This is the worse hostel I have ever been too. If you can, spend the extra money for another spot in town.

As others have mentioned there were lots of bed bugs
However the staff were very helpful and accommodating.
They informed us that the bed bug problem is due to be dealt with, hopefully.

A lot of bed bugs, and another things is the air conditioning has time to time means at night will be having cold air con till next morning by 9.30am will be switch off and there's no aircon till by evening time by 6.30pm.
Omg from 9.30am onwards there's no aircon in the room just ceiling fan so damn hot no wonder bed bugs everywhere, everything is fine is only things was the aircon is control by timing unlike those hostel whole day aircon always on the breakfast is fall below average when as I was hungry no fresh bread no one cares to standby for the guest who was hungry quite disappointment and wifi is not strong enough always disconnected toilet is very dirty, I recommend to all travelers don't stay here.

The biggest problem is that there are bedbugs all over the place and even if the guy from the reception was accommodating and agreed to change our room that did not help a lot. All the other guests staying there said the same. They should really take the problem into account seriously and desinfect well all the hostel.

That was like ‘ Bed bugs castle ‘ Staff was just stupid. He didn’t give me free SIM card. When I told him that I’ve got bed bags that he just said because they cleaned up another bed that’s why bed bags moved another place. EXCUSE ME??? I stayed couple days at this hostel. Because price was cheap. But I should have checked more carefully about bad reviews. Unfortunately I got so many bad bug bites. I am stupid because I should have followed bad reviews. Yes YOU DO NOT STAY THIS STUPID DIRTY HOSTEL. If you wanna just stay cheap hostel, that is fine like me. For me I have never had this kind of dirty hostel before in my life.

Bedbugs all over the bed, pillow, wall & quilt. In Day 1, I can't sleep all night & got bitten by bedbugs all over my body. Worst experience ever. I reported to hostel manager. He helped me to change to another room the next day. He said the bed required treatment. in Day 3, manager tole me room is clear with bed bugs that I can sleep back to the bed. That night during middle of my sleep, I felt same itching feeling again. There comes bedbugs again on my pillow, bed & wall. The Day 4 I decided not to stay in that hostel & i rather stay up all night sleeping in airport since my flight is early morning. & now I got some bite scars on my both arms.

I found Pillow Talk Hostel by internet when comparing their prices online, their prices are very affordable. Located near MRT (4-5 block away, 15 minutes walk), also located near the food court, peace environment, got your own room key, locker, same gender room available (I got female dormitory). Everything is basically self service like the breakfast (burn your own toast and jam), the owner aren't interfering with your schedule. But the space is quite limited, like the room, the dining room and bath room are separated in close proximity, a reflection by the price we pay. Overall, nice stay.

Good location, good staff, and low price!
Here is good for back packers, not suitable for ordinary tourists. Bad point was....Break fast was only bread and Room was too cold at night, so it's better to sleep down bed. Hair dryer and cloth washers are available.

BED BUGS ALERT!!! I wasn't going to say anything about this incident, but the management offered not a word of sorry.. it's almost like it's a common issue for them. So, here's your wake up call! 😑
I woke up in the middle of the night itching all over the place, turned on the lights and saw some bugs crawling. Caught them with a bandaid and presented it to the reception.. the guy moved me to another bed and had me thinking it'll be alright after that. But boy I was wrong, it's much worse.. caught a total of 12 bugs, and checked out early in the morning because I couldnt sleep anyway. For those wondering, I did shower before bed. 😬

Excellent place for bagpackers. They have capsule for each bed so you can hide in your cave to sleep and have some privacy. They give free Wi-Fi, breakfast items are available whole day, hair dryer and iron available. MOM, little india, Bugis nearby. Booking through online sites can give some discount but might end up paying same including conveyance fee. I stayed there for more than a week.

ที่นอนสะอาดและเป็นสัดส่วนดี เหมาะสำหรับผู้ที่ไม่นิยมสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกนัก แต่อุปกรณ์ที่มีให้ใช้ ก็มีครบตามความจำเป็น ควรปรับปรุงเรื่องความสะอาดห้องน้ำเล็กน้อย รอบๆที่พักสามารถเดินทางต่อได้สะดวกและมีแหล่งรับประทานอาหารให้เลือกหลากหลาย โดยรวมถือว่าคุ้มค่ากับเงินที่จ่ายไป

Bersih dan rapih, dua kali menginap di sini.
Kamar mandi tersedia cukup. Ada mesin cuci yang digunakan dengan koin. Disediakan roti, teh, dan kopi.
