One of the MOST DISAPPOINTING experiences I've had - service was poor and grooming is below average. My dog's hair is GONE and she has brown gunk coming out of her ears. I've tried contacting them privately but they have yet to return the call even after 3 days.
I went to the branch at Hougang Green for the first time. The booking was relatively easy and quick, Laura was pleasant over the phone.
However, upon reaching the store, there was a strong smell of urine in the waiting area. I met with Laura and explained how I wanted my dog's haircut to be like - I even showed picture references of the length and the shape. I also mentioned that my dog has really sensitive ears and to be careful when plucking them out as they tend to get red and might get infected. She told me not to worry and that she'd call me once my dog was ready.
An hour and a half later she calls me and tells me to come down to the store in 20 mins. I arrived on schedule and was told to wait another 20 minutes by the groomer. I came back after 20 minutes and STILL had to wait an extra 30 minutes before my dog was done. In total I waited an extra 50mins - 1hr at the store!
I was HORRIFIED to find my dog's fur being shaved so short. When I questioned the groomer and showed her the picture reference, she agreed that it wasn't like the picture at all and that she was told a different set of instructions by Laura. I wanted to speak with Laura but was told by the groomer that she would call me back.
It has been 3 days since the grooming session and I have yet to receive any word from Pets Republic.
I paid $55 for infected ears and a really bad haircut.
