Hiro is a long haired husky with a double coat.
I sent him here for a basic grooming and teeth cleaning. It was only after I picked him up and brought him home that I found out that they had shaved off his fur around his neck. To top it off, it wasn't even a complete circle. It was just 3/4 around his neck!
Long haired huskies like Hiro should never have their fur shaved off unless absolutely necessary and recommended by the vet as the fur is for them to regulate their body temperature and protect their sensitive skin from the harsh sunlight and dirt. And even if the fur does grow back, it will no longer be the same as before.
Shouldn't pet groomers have prior knowledge of this, or if not at least simply Google search it. I feel that I should have been informed and my permission asked before such drastic measures to shave off the fur was made.
I don't think any owner would be happy to find their fur kid's fluffy fur shaved off without their knowledge and permission. Besides, I don't remember their basic grooming to include such service :/

Professional grooming services that is worthwhile to travel all the way there for a nice grooming! They can handle dogs really well too!

Very professional grooming outlet. They take photos of your dog each session and keep it in a book for you. Unfortunately there isn't a cafe or something nearby to sit for an hour while you wait for your dog.
