Vet was quick but did not give our pet time to adjust to surrounding and stay calm. Just quickly got people to restrain the cat while she was in physical protest, and then they treated her. Usually the cat is a loving but anxious cat, however the approach to treating and handling her made the cat was very uncomfortable and she wanted to run and hide and escape the physical restraint. The examination area is not a closed room so if the cat escaped it could run out of the clinic by the back door.
The receptionist was great though! Accommodating, comforting and generous with tips and information about the illness and the cat. She was very warm and caring too.
