First time I’m writing a review. Visited the clinic on 24/4/18 at about 240pm. My dog had diarrhoea and some stomach upset, hence, decided to get him checked.
Dr Adil (If I remember his name correctly), saw my dog. It was a pretty bad experience honestly.
1) he tried to sell me the Parvo virus test ($55), although my dog had a vaccination just a month ago and highly unlikely he has the virus, but anyway it could be for good intentions.. then
2) asked me to get a deworming pill (he says it only costs $5 and getting it from the clinic means he can administer it, so why not )— this is despite me informing him that I already have leftovers from my previous vet visit. The discussion went on for awhile, it made me uncomfortable because I had made it clear I still have the tablets at home.
3) later on suggested that I could get my dog’s ears checked because he saw some dark wax (had also told him my dog has a previous ear mite infection and I saw a vet a month ago , got it checked and together with the vaccination too). kept probing on the type of ear mites medication I received from the previous vet (just so in case if it is not the right one he could prescribe me his medication)
4) ‘recommended’ that my dog gets an anti vomiting injection (to be administered at the clinic) — but my dog visited the vet today because of diarrhoea, not vomiting?????
5) towards the end, Dr Adil showed me a can food? And told me it’s good for the dog. But my dog being a fussy eater, I rejected that. In the end, he highly encouraged me to get fibre capsules for my dog. So, I got the $10 fibre capsules....
6) was also told to get probiotics - but I did not reject this as I think this could help with the diarrhoea.
In all honesty, it wasn’t a pleasant visit. I came to see the vet for my puppy’s diarrhoea but left the clinic feeling that pretty lousy. The vet was trying to sell me a lot of things, which I have to repeatedly check with him whether it is necessary? And it doesn’t end there. He would still try his luck to push for it.
Finally, was charged for the anti vomiting injection which my dog didn’t receive. But thankfully vet was honest and told the counter staff to refund that amount I paid for. If I had not clarified , I most probably wouldn’t have gotten a refund.
Just wanted to share this review to warn others. It could be a once off incident for me or the clinic, but it is definitely unpleasant.

Choose carefully, everything is so expensive over there, very irresponsible as well. I should bring my dog back to our usual go clinic rather than here because I was think is near to house. In the end I was totally wrong.

The service was great and the vet was very gentle to my cat. All the staff there were all very patient with our questions and doubts. The price is very reasonable as well (as a comparison to my visit to another vet clinic). Thank you all so much for your help!
