Good but pricey! The quality ingredients shine through, especially in the juicy all beef patties, the condiments and sides, like the sweet potato fries. Quality ingredients, especially these ingredients are pricey in Singapore. So if that consideration is part of your calculus, then sticker shock is a much less likely outcome at the end of wonderful meal. You just have to get out of that headspace where you expect a juicy cheeseburger, fries and a coke to cost under $5. If you're ready, this is likely the best made to order cheeseburger in Singapore.

Terrible customer service. The stated waiting time is 20 mins, but our food was not ready after waiting for 25 mins. I went to the pick up counter to ask how long more the food will take. And they came back to say that it will need 15 mins more????? 15 MINS??? After waiting 25 mins. Seriously, how long does it take to cook a medium rare patty and put it in a burger. According to the staff at the Grandstand, the answer would be close to 1 hour. It's more likely they never started cooking it at all. And the reason is because they were busy with their takeaway deliveries. Yes, so make the customers at your physical branch wait since deliveries are more important. After I demanded a refund, the manager changed the cooking time from 15 minutes to 5 minutes. But after I asked her to confirm that it'll be 5 minutes, she changed it again to 5-10 minutes. Look, if you cannot keep up with so many orders then don't take so many orders or update your waiting time to 45 minutes. Was given a refund and forfeited our meal. But you know the time spent going down to the Grandstand outlet, the half an hour we spent waiting there, well no refund available for that. And not even an apology or a sorry. Just "so do you want to wait or do you want a refund?" It's not like we just happened to be at such a remote and inaccessible shopping mall and walked into Omakase Burger. We made a special trip just for Omakase Burger to be treated like this. How disappointing. If your focus is on delivering food then don't open a sit in restaurant.

a nice, casual burger restaurant that features a wide range of burgers. however the price may well change the "casual" aspect

Please don't pay attention to the negative reviews - this is by far the best burger joint in Singapore and one of the best ones I've had anywhere. The patties are juicy and perfectly cooked and the bun is soft and delicious. Yes, it's more expensive than your run-of-the-mill fast-food chains, but for that you get top notch ingredients that more than justify the price. The only thing I'd wish for is that a gluten free bun was available as an option.

To be perfectly honest, the burgers here were good, but the positives end here. The price is exorbitant, near daylight robbery. There's no service charges here which means you pick up your food from the kitchen counter. For $27 for a bacon burger, truffles fries and a soft drink, it was hard to stomach. Especially when the burger was no bigger than regular Macs cheeseburger. The beef patties were wet and juicy which was good in some way but it also means that the buns were thoroughly soaked by the time you're half way through. We were able to get a table for 4 during Saturday lunch hour which speaks the bare truth about this expensively priced burger joint. The service was almost none existent due to the self service model. The dining area is clean and comfy. I will return only when I hit the lottery and happen to crave a juicy burger.

Burgers are great if a little pricey; they’ve got a really clean taste, which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Mushroom toppings are really worth it!

Used to be one of the best burgers in Singapore but quality seems to have dropped lately. Still way yummier compared to cheaper fast-food burgers.

In an ideal world a stall would live up to its name and serve what their concept encapsulate. However this is not the case with Omakase Burger.
One chooses from a prefixed menu (wheres the Omakase part of it????) and the burgers are priced at restaurant prices but the place has a fast food concept... again wt*?
if the pricepoint was matched to lets say Macs or BK, i would understand but at almost 25 bucks for their omakase burger w truffle fries and a lemonade. gosh...
dont get me wrong, food is not acceptable but at that pricepoint you'll be expecting table service, free flow bread or something of that sorts. get yr direction right guys...

If you like burgers that are a bit more juicy and greasy, this is great option. The patties are cooked to perfection.

There are better burgers in Singapore, but you'd be remiss to not try an Omakase Burger.

I'd consider the pricing a little steep for the size of the burger and no fries, so be warned before you make the trip up to turf city.

It's just a burger...

Stopped in one afternoon with the little one as I was craving a burger. I had tried before and figure what the heck, maybe it has improved...

Nope...

Bun was super soaked... almost well done... medium to small patty...

Service was with a smile and they were super friendly but sorry, not a place of go back to...

For nearly $20, you get a KFC-sized burger that tastes McDonaldish. Did I mention it also comes without any fries? That's very unAmerican, given this place branded itself as genuine American style burger. If you can't impress ppl with the American style quality, do that with American style quantity, but this place fails to do either.

Tried the signature beef cheese burger. Juicy and really goes well with the cheese. Oishii desu!

Martin Gonzalez (29/04/2017 13:03)
Not so bad! Good sweet potato fries.

Colin Kwan (20/03/2017 16:41)
Consistency is a big issue here. Some days you get it medium rare, other times you get a well done patty. It's also very expensive for what it is, even considering the use of us beef.

Gary Elsworth (24/02/2017 01:40)
Ok, its a good burger, the fries are average, the truffle fries a bit over rated. But.......definitely not worth the money. There are better burgers around for this price, that don't come with 'fast food' service. Nothing here to put me off......but wouldn't go out of my way for one.

My vote for the best burger in Singapore. It's a particular style, which might not appeal to all tastes, but to me it's as close an approximation to In-n-Out burger you can find in SG. Sides are good but not stellar (but the burger makes up for a LOT of shortcomings).

Valdric Lim (09/11/2016 12:07)
Garbage food. Beef burger patty had no salt, pepper or mustard. Fries are the same standards as McDonalds.

Heck, even a $2.50 Double Cheeseburger tastes better than the $14.90 Cheeseburger here. Atrocious; do not patronize this place people. Terribly overpriced food below McDonald's standards is what I would describe this place.

Kenny Goh (06/11/2016 11:29)
Overpriced fast food. Nice burger but definitely on the pricy side in term of settings and environment.

Don't be put off what looks like limit ed seats, there are more inside. Ignore the Japanese sounding name - this is more a keen to Asian style burger. Smaller bites and serving. Still very good burgers no doubt. They serve fresh orange juice and Coke Mexico - arguably the best Coke according to enthusiasts.

Tomas Martin (25/09/2016 05:58)
Expensive but burgers are amazing and not huge

Herman The (20/06/2016 06:26)
Use Japanese name 'omakase' but the quality and serving is not Japanese at all. Too bad! Taste is not bad but not good as price as well

Yeen yy (19/03/2016 14:14)
Is not the "best" ... over estimated...
The "BurgerLab" in Kuala lumpur is much better

Nica Macapil (11/03/2016 10:30)
The price of the burgers, fries and drinks was not worth it. It was very expensive and taste was not that nice, rather spend my money at mcdonalds

Nicholas PYE (31/01/2016 08:00)
Amazing juicy burger and large tasty fries! Really recommend this place!

Victor Darmawan (11/12/2015 16:20)
Great burger! We tried the beef and also chicken burgers and they're both really good. It's a bit pricey, but hey.. Good burgers are not easy to get.
