I decided to have my birthday celebration in the restaurant but I am met with numerous of issues ranging from arriving to the restaurant to the taste of the food. The entrance of the restaurant is hidden and the call center in another country cannot guide us to the restaurant. The beef that I order was so salty that I have to reject it. I have to ask them to serve the food fast as it is 10pm already. I think the restaurant is not worth my money and time. Their food standard is not consistent.

Staff are very knowledgeable on their food items and they were always willing to assist. It is a one-of-a-kind experience dining with the underwater friends.
Unfortunately, I would have expected a bit more from the food, coming from a celebrity chef's restaurant. The food was at best, average. Plating was definitely beautiful and there was a lot of effort in making the dishes look nice. The seared watermelon dish tasted really weird. The items on the plate did not gel well to me. The crab dumpling was also a little disappointing. Without the dumpling skin, the crab would have tasted much better.
If you're dining there, do not miss out on the duo beef. Texture was perfect and every bite was enjoyable. The dessert Red treasure was really refreshing and a good ending to the meal.
While there are very few tables, the restaurant can get noisy with kids running about. That kind of made the whole experience a little less enjoyable, but that's just us being unlucky to come on a day where there were many kids running about.
All in all it was an average experience. Food really depends on individual's taste buds so do come down to try for yourself and have a meal with the lovely sea creatures.

Visited the restaurant on last Saturday to have a birthday celebration. The staff didn't confirm the reservation which I made a week ago till 10 minutes before the reservation.
Food was disappointing and the mixture of the flavours in each dish clashes in the palate. (sharp sour taste/ weird unknown taste). The chef's complimentary oyster dish was awful. Super "fishy" even before biting into it. It's very unpleasant. The only better dish was the dessert and the cake given as complimentary.
The only good thing was the experience and ambience, not at all on the service/ food/ price. We are very very disappointed.
Wish it could be better.

I celebrated my husband's birthday yesterday at the restaurant. i didn't ask for a cake but the staff initiatively made a small clam cake with a candle & served it to my husband as they wished him. excellent service, food was also exquisite, excellent staff. i am really happy with the service provided, 😊

Food was great but food serving was slow with noisy ambience during my visit. Perhaps it's the customers who made up all the noise but average of 30 to 40mins per dish is not really a good experience

Very nice ambience and the huge fish tank was able to both relax us and entertain us for a couple of hours. You should book your appointment in advance. The seats closest to the tank cost more but are worth it as you get a close up view of the aquarium. Just make sure you don’t get the seat next to the pillar as it can really block your view. The staff were nice enough to help us get the best seats available though! We even saw divers taking their diving course! The food’s presentation was good and fancy, with the staff coming to the table to finish the presentation in front of you. The 3 course meal was filling enough for us. Very nice setting!

Superb setting.
Very good attentive service
Good quality original food
Enjoyed the time there.
My rating means:
***** : My favourite listing. Best place in its category
****: Great experience. Will come again
***: Ok place. Good enough if you need it
**: Rather disappointing. May not repeat the experience
*: Bad. Should not be in business.

The food tasted alright, fancy but not as tasty as it looked. Don’t miss the Foie Gras and Pork Belly, these were one of the nicer dishes.
The ambience is great for celebration, proposal, gatherings! Lots of kids though, so if you want some quiet moments, would be good to check with the staff for timings with lesser children.
The service staff were rather attentive. They gave a complimentary “cake” as we were celebrating hubby’s birthday.

One star is even more than what I should give, worst restaurant experience, so bad that I have to write my first review.
Bad service , I made a reservation for two at 9pm, the frontdesk called us at 8pm said that we can go earlier, so we arrived at 8:30, and they still let us sit at the waiting area till 9pm even though there were empty tables.
At the waiting area ,the air-conditioner was dripping water on the sofa.
Courses were not worth the price they charged us. The fish tasted fishy and none of the dishes impressed me. Cat Cora must be just the name of this restaurant, not the dishes.
The only cool thing is the fish tank,
but I wouldrather spend less than a S$100 ticket to check out all the fish in the aquarium next door than spent almost S$500 to have such an awful dinner with the fish tank.

Worst experience so far for restaurant in singapore. Total 18 tables but only 3 staff and one at reception desk. Came here for lu ch, sat down and ordered the menu to only be served by a rude woman, who seems to hurry alot expecting us to make the order quickly. The food in the lunch package menu comes very very late after each dish. Waited for the dessert for like 20-25minutes after our last plate!!! The guy, we asked to help us take photo and ask which place or spot was normally a good setting. The answer was " i'm not a photographer, there are many style can do"
Very under managed, understaffed, impolite culture here. This restaurant does not even have fresh juice, only bottled fruit concentrate are available.
Other than that, the food I ordered is pretty good. I ordered the toothfish. Food is okay, so-so, standard and nothing fancy. Just enjoyable as any normal dish.
Will never come again. Even If I was paid to do so. Better eat eat some mee pok hawker centre or street corner. Brings more happy mood.

Dinner place with an aquarium view . Not cheap dinner sets but for a unique dining experience , it's worth a try.

My wife brought me here for my birthday dinner and I was absolutely thrilled with the awesome view! Imagine dining to Michelin-mentioned quality cuisine against the backdrop of manta rays swimming by...

The service is very bad. Imagine I order a five course and my wife and mother-in-law ordered a three course. But they could only have the dessert until I finish all my course which is unfair for them. Not only that when we requested our deserts to be served first. Our request is happily ignored. Seem like they are so busy and so disorganized! We come first but being serve much later. And we don't even know that there is a kid's menu available. The person who took the order didn't even mention to us. Seem like nobody really care whether we as customer is happy or not. Is there still service? Is our first time here feeling excited to come celebrating my mother-in-law birthday. But due to the bad experience it will probably be the last for
us:(

Amazing Californian seafood dining experience with superb views of the aquarium fishes, making you not wanting to leave the place at all! Set lunch options: 3 course at $58++ and 5 course $72++. Menu changes regularly, there's always at least 3 fish options with other seafood as starters. I had the hokkaido scallops with ika for starters, braised pork belly for main and 3x citrus for dessert. I loved all three dishes, and especially the warm bread given at the start. Would definitely come back again!

The food and ambiance is great for date nights or even chilling with a group of friends. Great food, although the service was slow when it wasn't even full house.
Nevertheless the overall experience was good. The 7 course dinner for SGD 158 is worth while and there are moderate wine selections to pair them with.
I would recommend to make a reservation ahead of time so secure the best seat in the house. The front tables facing the ocean view is amazing and the best part of the evening.

There’s plenty of novelty high end experiences in Singapore lately and one of them is the wonder of dining with the company of marine animals. That’s exactly the showpiece of the Ocean Restaurant by Cat Cora? Located inside the S.E.A. Aquarium, Marine Life Park, you can savour a delicious meal with your loved one while enjoying the magnificent view of the Open Ocean habitat. Plus it’s also a celebrity chef restaurant.
It’s a fine dining experience that is quite intriguing. Not sure about ordering seafood while being in a tank.

The ambiance is stunning with views of the rays and schools of fish swimming around next to you while you dine. Food is fabulous and good value for money! You can enter from the Equarius Hotel car park or if you have a SEA admission ticket, through the world's largest aquarium.

Come here if you want to impress your date with the view. Just don't expect the food to be as impressive.
Most will come here for the view of the aquarium. It really is quite an amazing sight to see the huge manta rays glide gracefully. For this price point though, the food quality is a little subpar. Make no mistake, the food is still excellent, just not at this price point.
