My friend held his wedding lunch here few weeks ago. I am in-charged on my friend's behalf for coordinating the event. Though it is my first time coordinating this kind of big and important event, but with the help of their experience staffs help and cooperation, the event went very smooth and well. I would really recommend this hotel for consideration should any of you looking for hotel for your wedding event.

Attended an office dinner function at the Cinnamon room. The decor was pleasant and the function space adequate. Nothing really stands out but that's not necessarily a bad thing. We had a Chinese dinner with 6 or 7 courses. The quality of the food was average.

Good place to stay..is near to go everywhere, easy MRT & bus access only 100-200 meters from the hotel. Room is big and clean, their bathroom also good, they have 2 kind of shower inside. There is a lot of food around hotel like subway, Singaporean food, etc.

It was overall a pleasant stay at Novotel with its central location. Our hotel room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The only thing which spoilt the stay was that the room isn't sound-proof. Once, there were guests who checked-in to the next room at midnight, talking and laughing very loudly (high-pitch voices). It woke us up, and it didn't help when we were jet-lagged and in need of sleep & rest. In addition, we could smell cigarette smoke through the ventilation. The noise and smoke went on for about 2-3 hours.
We gave our feedback at the hotel reception the next morning, and the staff was kind enough to offer a change of rooms for us. As we liked our room very much, we were reluctant to change, so we said we'll try another night and see if the situation will improve. The staff promised to investigate the matter. We had peaceful nights the rest of our stay, and we're very grateful for that! Truly appreciate the prompt and effective response of the hotel staff. We will certainly return to stay on our next trip! :-)

We stayed here from 1-4 April. Nice hotel. Good breakfast. Would appreciate it if the staff at check in counter could be a bit friendly or maybe smile. A lovely helpful member of your staff, (the only one who smiled) was Kumi.

Went to the square for the buffet, selection of food was great. There's also live cooking station, chef will interact with us. Not bad of an experience overall

Very nice Hotel. It's near Chinese Town in Singapore. It takes you about 20 minutes of walking to come there. There is a bus station and a MRT station over the street. So comfortable to go anywhere in Singapore. The foods and drinks in this hotel are good too. I am so please to stay here.

Absolutely convenient if your first time to Singapore. Hotel is on point! On top a mall - downstairs is the start of bars, restaurants & awesome activities. English is first language & so friendly. Suited for budget & 5 star travellers.
Perfect start of our holiday. Very humid & stay hydrated! Very multicultural & the atmosphere is amazing! Must see

The location is great, close the restaurants and subway. The breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. At the beginning I had a room with a door to the next room. I could hear the guy working and calling, this was scary. I changed my room then. Before going to the airport I had a shower at the pool area, this was not good. Other hotels provide much better facilities (air con, lockers, ...).

I stayed at the club (executive) room and was extremely satisfied with the friendly and very efficient service provided by the professional staff at the executive lounge. In addition, the room was very spacious and had all amenities you need for a long stay (11 nights). The pool at the hotel being very big was never crowded and was open until 10 pm and that was a bonus. The location of the hotel could not be better (in the middle of everything!) All in all, there was an unforgettable stay at this great hotel at Clarke Quay - the most eclectic and bustling area in Singapore!
Karin Bruehlmann (18/09/2017 07:28)
Room was spacious, I like the fridge, room service available, friendly staff with always a smile. Concierge Service definitely can do better (show more of a can do attitude). Location is the best and the fact that Novotel is associated to Liang Court (Shopping Mall) makes it easy. 7/11 shop downstairs helps when you come home late (24 h Service).Privacy was kept and I felt comfortable staying in my room.
Downsides are the very outdated and dark look of the rooms, water bathroom needs very long to heat up, no make up mirror and missing (bright) light in the bath room, cleanliness definitely needs improvement, Bar & Restaurant area not pretty, food I've ordered was OK but nothing great.
Overall Price/Value Ratio did not meet my expectations.

If available I always stay at Novotel Clarke Quay. All of the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms and bathroom are of generous proportions and well appointed. The location is awesome being in Clarke Quay, dozens of restaurants and bars are 100 metres away. Executive Lounge staff are always super helpful and is a great place for business meetings if you have access.
Guo He-Jun Eugene (12/09/2017 01:29)
The initial impression upon arrival was good but that changed pretty quickly. The snacks offered in the premium lounge during tea-time was very limited, and the tray was almost empty when we arrived at 3 pm. I had selected the late check-out option during my booking, however, my key card was disabled at 11.55 am on the check-out date. I was locked out of my room and had to call the operator using the phone in the lobby. The operator took awhile to answer and when I explained to her that I was locked out, her initial reply had no empathy. I tried explaining to her that I had selected the late checkout option, and her reply was to proceed to the premium lounge for assistance. I had to inform her that my key card has been disabled and I could not access the lift to get to the lounge. Only then did she offered to get a colleague to assist in opening my room, which in my opinion should have been the first option made available. When the housekeeping staff arrived, he did not verify my identity and opened the room door for me. When I tried to get him to assist me to the lounge (because my card has been disabled), he walked away. It appeared that he could not converse in English and did not understand my request for help. As a result, I had to access the lounge through the emergency staircase.

Satisfied to stay at Novotel for 3 nights. Room is very clean, comfortable and quite spacious.
Breakfast is so good taste with many choices.
Location is perfect, near to Clarke Quay our favorite area and Chinatown just 10 minutes walking away.
Will definitely stay here again in the future.
Chong How Gan (02/08/2017 02:29)
All in all we had a good stay at the hotel. Room was comfortable and good size too.
All amenities replenished daily.
Few comments on housekeeping:
1) We had our 2 year old with us. And it was very obvious that there were three people in the room. Housekeeping could have just provided one extra towel.
2) Towel are a tad too huge and only one hanging spot behind the door.
The other towel hanging to dry at the bath glass door will be sweeping the floor if it was hanged there.
Had tea at the restaurant. Food was good. Service could have been better if the staff were more attentive rather then chatting away with each other.
We had to walk to them each time we wanted something.

We arrived 12 hours late for our stopover, having missed our flights after a month working as volunteers in Ethiopia, due to airport delays; so you can imagine our states of mind. Your staff immediately made us welcome with an upgrade to a lovely unbelievably quiet room. Next morning our problems continued with Emirates not allowing us to use the last leg of our ticket to Australia. One of your front desk staff came to our aid ;tracked down local Emirates staff and facilitated us buying another ticket, We look forward to returning for a proper break in your lovely hotel; great position and locality; lovely staff. Great location, great service very comfortable rooms. Loved the premium lounge. Checking in and out was so easy and the staff assistance and service was wonderful. The room was clean and I loved the pillows wished I could have taken them home!!

Room is spacious, view is good. Comes with a mobile phone guide which we can bring out of the hotel for exploring Singapore.
However, I found broken shards of glass behind the bathroom door, my toddler almost got cut by it when she attempted to pick it up. Luckily she did not try to put it in her mouth.
Previous guest's wedding decoration was also left behind on the sliding door
Breakfast buffet was good
Direct access to shopping mall is great, perhaps a notice of shop operating hours will help guests
Gaurav Magia (29/05/2017 09:39)
I have stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and I have booked for premium room and guess what after two nights they have upgraded to us on suite room. I have found staff was so friendly & helpful for against any query. We have came across with very small issue with key was not working due to some system issue but during the issue me & my family was fully take care by the staff at the same time. We have loved the Handy phone service, trust me it is so useful that at any point of time you can use for Internet or calls.
Clark quay is a beautiful location and hotel is just 10 step away so location it self was so excellent.
We would definitely recommend and visit again.
Thank you Novotel for making our trip more memorable.

Located in middle shopping and business area, makes Novotel really good hotel for couple.
Near vibrant area Clark Quay even better.
Friendly and Helpful Staff start form check in, concierge and in room service.
The room is spacious but too bad the bed still queen size instead of king size.
Great experience to stay at Novotel.
Luke Provis (08/05/2017 08:39)
Our room and facilities were all great, thank-you. The buffet breakfast too was good but we wondered if you had the capacity for a child free area for a more peaceful meal. Otherwise we would certainly return.
Nadine Parkes (23/04/2017 10:51)
Our stay at Novotel was amazing. All staff were friendly and helpful in every way. Any concerns were
dealt with and service always prompt. The room was very comfortable and the daily buffet breakfast was looked forward to every day.
Thank you Novotel for a memorable holiday.

Nice stay, the check-in process was a bit long considering I did an online check-in. We didn't do much on the F&B front at the hotel because we wanted to spend time in Clarke Quay. The room was well appointed and clean. It also had a good view. I appreciate being recognized as a Gold member as well.
Shawne Gerv (05/04/2017 05:02)
We arrived after 7pm and our room was not ready. We were offered a free drink at the bar while we waited, but it was a long wait.
The room was nice, the free smart phone was terrific. An upgrade to the coffee supplies/maker would be good, in matching with the overall hotel.
A few bugs were constant in the bathroom shower.

After paying $580 for ONE night at this hotel, the front desk staff (Suleiman and Thomas) on 31 March refused to allow me to charge my phone at the front desk after checkout. Sounds ridiculous? This was an accurate reflection of the rest of my stay here.
In Singapore I've seen better service from backpacker hostels, let alone an international hospitality chain.
Rooms were mediocre, housekeeping service was non existent and facilities were poor. Would not stay here again even if they paid me.
I would recommend staying at any of the other hotel chains in Singapore or checking out there smaller boutique hotels in the city area. Better service, better location and better prices.
Adam Meyers-Spector (06/03/2017 02:21)
Located at Clarke Quay, the Novotel is right next door to a great stretch of (Western) restaurants and nightlife, looking over the modest Singapore River, and across the road from Ft. Canning Park, which makes for a nice stroll over to the impressive National Museum. It's also just a few minutes walk to the MRT station. The hotel's 7th floor lobby is welcoming, with friendly front desk staff and free iMac workstations. The pool on this floor is modest, but perfectly adequate for a refreshing respite from the city's heat. The fitness room is poor - a claustrophobic windowless room with just a few machines. Our guestroom was spacious - especially the bathroom - and well appointed (and 2 additional pull-out beds were already in the room, at no extra cost). The breakfast buffet is very good, offering a mix of Western, East Asian, and Indian food. We stayed here over a Chinese holiday weekend which bumped the room rate up quite a bit; for the price we paid it wouldn't have been much more to stay at the Sentosa Shangri-La, but worked well for us, as we wanted to be in the heart of the city and withing walking/MRT distance to various attractions. Recommended.

Amazing housekeeping staff and management found and immediately returned my iPhone to me after I had already checked out. Above and beyond great service.

The hotel is set right on Clarke Quay on top of Liang Court and is easily accessible by all means of transport. The rooms are spacious and well-lit, while the breakfast and swimming pool at the hotel is also commendable. However, the gym is rather small and stuffy and has very few weights and little equipment which can be improved.
The main downside of the hotel is that you need to take one elevator up to the seventh floor for the lobby, and then take another from there to your room which can take some time if you are in a hurry.
Everything during our stay for six nights was good for all three rooms I had booked, except that on the first night my room's ceiling started leaking under the AC and caused damage to my suitcase and clothes throughout the night and was only fixed the next day around 4pm. In another room the next day the power went out and took almost 2 hours to fix that caused discomfort to my sister and her kids who weren't told how long it would take and were asked to simply wait in the room.
Overall the hotel is a good deal, especially with the breakfast, and I would surely recommend it to anyone.

Great location close to Chinatown. If nightclubs are your thing then they are on your doorstep. Fine amenities. Staff is friendly and helpful. Starbucks in the lobby. There is an international grocery store and Japanese restaurants located adjacent to the hotel. Hotel features a very large outdoor pool.

Good for both business and family stay! Breakfast is ok but not great. Fitness room is poorly facilitated. Room is spacious. Hotel is well located next to Clark Quay. Strongly recommend for young travellers who enjoy active night live

Staying from 23rd until 27th October 2016. And on my last night staying got a birthday cake from the hotel management. Nothing better than this on your special day!
Everything here is great. Great food. Good area. The room is always cleaned everyday. AirCon and refrigerator work properly. Also, great view of Clarke Quay area!

Upon arrival:
The hotel is acceptable but not the standards I would expect from services provided and quality of rooms.
Standard services expected being insufficient:
Internet: you cannot Skype or WhatsApp call from here. The connection is only 3 - 6 mbps and does not provide a stable connection. I feel like the Internet is from 2000 when the first wifi connection went out.
Cleaning: I needed to ask for the cleaner to visit my room when I got back at 16:00. In addition I was not provided with soap or shampoo for the next day!!!
Rooms: the bathroom have mold at the shower and the room clearly needs a hand as the paint is falling off. Further the light was flicking and I needed to contact the staff to take care of this issue.
Noice: the room I am staying in is very noisy due to my neighbours. I clearly asked for a quiet area as I am here for business trip. The response from staff was that I was already allocated and would have to pay additional charge for such quality.
Overall very poor service for the price paid. I will never stay here for private holidays and will make sure to inform the agency about this hotel being below expectations.
On the positive side the pool area is good and there is sunshine until end of the evening.
Be aware of the confusion with 2 lifts - 1 for the lobby and a second for your room.
Commencing the hotel being aware of the conditions:
The hotel management took action in regard to my comments and I am pleased to say that I was moved to another room commencing. Thank you alot for taking care of the issue. My initial rating have been changed based on the outstnding return of service from the hotel and I hope that this room will be renovated before used again.
Thanks Novotel for being engaged with your costumer - I have never experienced such a turnaround before.

My Son held his wedding banquet there on 10th September 2016. We were very pleased with everything turned out to be. Nice food, courteous staff, well manners services provided, pleasant ambience & not to mentioned that the banquet manager even throw in a well rehearsed personal performance of Gangnam Style and Michael Jackson single white glove dance.

Enjoyed our stay. Staff are very helpful. Room was clean and bed are comfortable. Great location to Central MRT, restaurants and bars. Returned guest. Will return again next time in Singapore.

A convenient and comfortable hotel. It is just next to supermarket and a shopping centre.
The only slight inconvenience is the 10 min. walk to the subway station but I think it is the case in most of Singapore.
The noise insulation of the rooms is also not so good. I have to talk extra soft in order to avoid complaint from my neighbour.
Reece Hill (25/03/2016 21:08)
We had a fantastic time. The location was great for our 3 night stay, with very easy access to to many of the attractions Singapore has to offer.
On arrival we discovered our booking did not have us booked in for our first night. The staff were very accommodating and promptly sorted a room for us. In addition, they sorted extra beds for our two children. In fact any request was dealt with professionally and promptly. The hotel atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. We made good use of the pool and area which was well set up and great for the children. The front desk and concierge staff were very friendly and helpful, answering any questions and quickly sorting our luggage and taxis. We recommend this hotel, especially for families on a stopover.
Linna Tan (16/03/2016 09:50)
The bed is good, hot water is good, tub is good, all is good except the pillow. The pillow is horrible which are too soft and smelly. I think the whole experience will be perfect if not for the pillows and the soundless TV.
The house keeping is great, i requested for extra toothbrush and they bring it to us rather fast and also the extra bed. The technician try to help us with the tv but once we switch it off, the tv sound doesn't work again. i think you have to check it out. Room 1308.
