Affordable sushi plates. Fast service. Decent food for the price. Food choices are pretty extensive. Good place to pop by after a movie upstairs. Staff are quick with request.
Great place for a noisy gathering. Haha 😂.
Expect long queue during peak hour. Lotsa students/youngster due to the location.

Food quality can be improved. Remember it’s $1.60 a plate, and being realistic with expectations will help u enjoy the food better. There were some strong points- chawanmushi was great value for money. Deep fried shishamo was worth it also. I enjoyed a birthday discount ($1 plates) so that’s a plus.
Ambience was quiet so it was a good place to take a quick break in this busy city.

The fried/ grilled items are great. I usually don't eat sushi there and just the appetizer and the fried/ grilled stuff

The best conveyor belt sushi I’ve had in all of Singapore. Very affordable and the variety is endless. However, I ordered the salmon nigiri and it’s extremely small in portion. Fish to rice ratio was not right. But overall, love the new menu. Especially the spicy tori karaage chicken and the lobster ebi avocado maki.(picture attached)

This is a really nice place to try out all kinds of sushi/sashimi and each plate which can have 1/2/6 costs only 1.6 SGD which is more than reasonable and also tastes great. I have tried a lot of different ones there, and I am more than satisfied. The best part is that they have a rotating platform which has sushi/sashimi plates in it and anyone can pick it from there if they do not wanna order through the iPad they have attached to each table which sometimes gets stuck a lot but that was okay all I had to do is wait for it to load. They serve food right away within a minute or two which is awesome. Would definitely go there again when I visit Singapore!

For its price, the quality and selection were pretty decent. It felt like there are more variety than sushi express though there are no free hot green tea here. It is also possible to order through their tablet, using their e menu app. Food was okay but the app was terrible and hanged quite a few time before i was able to order. Other than the app, all else is good.

Quality of food is decent as relative to the price. Would recommend for people who wants better sushi than Sakae and paying about the same

Sushi and sashimi were great. Love the experience and felt very satisfied after the meal. Everyone should come to try out the food.

Only 1 way of ordering that is through the iPad menu which is not intuitive and affixed at an awkward position. Too time consuming! Pek chek.. Otherwise it is a good place to settle your sushi craving.

Today Noon I sat with my colleague to dine for the first time. Things I had noticed.
1) The staffs are always Chit chatting
2) The service was quite bad for a restaurant
3) The sushi was absolutely pathetic.
Upon 10 points I'll give 0.5 points
4) Many people just gobbles this junk food up which has no standard to be called as sushi.
(I've lived in Osaka before)
5) Maybe I should ask Gordon Ramsey to review this piece of playdoh( sushi)
Pls avoid

One of the best place to get your sushi fix, without burning your wallet

Great place to sushi in town, fish is fresh unlike the other conveyer belt sushi places.

A good place for a quick bite and satisfy the craving for sushi. There's hot food like chawamushi, fried tofu and fried ebi too. You can order your food via the iPad at each table. Would be nice if there's a "Call for Bill" function in the app. Service wise, there's still room for improvement. However, I do welcome their initiative of employing the elderly and those with hearing difficulties, so do be patient with the staff.

The dishes we're beyond mediocre, the carousel was almost completely empty the whole time (and the fruit cake looked GROSS!), and the service was so, so poor.

Not 'express' at all. Slow and uninitating service. Five strands of raddish to each plate of sashimi. Miso soup was one of the last of my orders to come out. Regretted not going to the food court opposite. This review is for the Cathay Cineleisure branch.
Glenn Chua (20/10/2016 18:18)
Disappointing Cathay branch is Disappointing, shouldn't have chosen this place for my birthday dinner, I wanted to order Salmon Aburi and it went through only to be told it's sold out, HELLO MARK YOUR ITEMS THAT ARE SOLD OUT, IF YOU COULD MARK SOLD OUT FOR OTHER ITEMS WHY NOT MARK THE SALMON SOLD OUT THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE, second time it happened when I tried ordered yakitory even that wasn't marked sold out. Turns out it's actually sold out! iPad had intermittent disconnections leading to inconsistent experience when ordering, some pictures did not load, not even the available food were a saving grace for this meal, response from waiters and service staff again is disappointing disappointing disappointing long wait for food...
Overheard remarks from other patrons leaving Nihon Mura after meal, "that was disappointing"
Overall: Disappointing with a capital D, my review serves a reminder to avoid this disappointing Nihon Mura at all costs.

Worst and slowest service ever. Came to the restaurant at 4pm on 7 May 2016. Every order take 20-30mins to come. Wonder what the chef is doing in the kitchen. Will NEVER visit again
Tim Zhuang (18/03/2016 18:53)
Just about everything goes for a standard price of $1.60 here. Sushi, drinks, desserts. Average-good quality fare at outstanding value. Service was perfunctory but decent during our busy Friday night visit.
Janelle Lau (14/04/2016 10:00)
Miso soup that came, half filled. Waiter insists it's the usual serving. Salmon belly sashimi is pale orange, does not seem fresh. Chawanmushi has diluted egg taste. Maki was small as compared to the picture. Hana maki was a miniature, too tiny to be worth the price. Handroll looks ok and seaweed was crispy. Overall, not worth the money and definitely would never come again or recommend to anyone!

Fresh succulent sashimi. I like the stick system ordering. The place still have room for improvement.
