We went there 5+ years ago..
This time we went after walk at upper seletar reservoir.
If you are a garlic lover, you’ll love it. Traditionally, the source was made with soybeans but this place with garlic.
The veggies are plenty, the variety is good and the portion is sufficient.
It’s a good place for gathering if all of you have different tastes.. the chicken rice is next door. The drinks are also good.
However, parking is an issue here.. you may park at springleaf park and walk here if no lots available.
Enjoy!!

The serving for 1 person has 10 different pieces in a garlicky sauce that is absolutely delicious. We normally go as a group but order individual plates just so that we can enjoy every bit of the sauce! The shui jiao tang (dumpling soup) is pretty good too!

My favourite place for yong tau foo. Very crispy and crunchy tao kee. With very nice and big wantons. Ladyfinger, bittergourd quail eggs all soaked in the most awesome sauce i ever had. Garlicky starchy. Soaked my rice with the sauce and it was the most satisfying meal ever.

Food tasted authentic and superb and more importantly the Yong Tau Foo sauce is highly addictive! Portion given was more than adequate for the people that are eating. Although the place has limited parking space but it is definitely worth the trip!

Please treat this as a hawker instead of restaurant place.amazing food at amazing price. Be prepared to wait and parking is a problem.

Traditional ampang yong tau food sold here. The only setback is the lack of parking lots.
Leow Zhen Xiang (05/04/2017 11:46)
The dry yong tau foo is nice. But parking can be troublesome.

They sell decent coffee and drinks. The morning food menu is just what I need:
Minced Meat Noodles
Fish ball Noodles
Fuzhou fish ball noodles
Char Kway Teow
Char Kway/Chye Tao Kway (black or white)
Prawn Noodles (new addition)
Laksa
Mini Wok (pork and egg)
They have Mee Kia (fine noodles),
Mee Pok (flat yellow noodles),
Kwayteow (flat rice noodles),
Bee Hoon (rice vermicelli),
Chor Bee Hoon and of course
Ooi Mee (yellow noodles) for the Laksa. I likes 🙋

I used to come here as a child right after a visit to the Mandai zoo. I am surprised to find it still here! Don't be tricked though, there is an imitation stall near it. This is the original one.

Brilliant and satisfying feed as always. Parking spaces are limited (during peak lunchtime) due to constructions of new MRT, which hasn't deter me and never a dull moment. 👍👍
Highly recommend if anyone visits Singapore. This Kiwi will always return for a good 'Yong Tau Fu' feed when visiting Singapore. 😊😊😊

Nice food by place and seatings, esp the plastic stools are really uncomfortable.

Love the yong tau fu in their sauce.. I'll definitely visit this restaurant again.

Ampang Yong Tau, one of the local Chinese's favorite can be found in this shop and two or three more around the corner. The braised duck rice stalls here is of the more traditional variants.

Rude rude and rude. 8/10 times I go there I get ignored. Even when not the douchy uncle would look past me let me wait and take order for an auntie instead. With such arrogance I have walked away more times than u can think. But not having much eating places around time to time I have no choice. And the serving auntie beware she always don't listen to orders to pack or Eat and then backtalk to you to her server which would loudly proclaiming 'jialat lor' such customers. Seriously attitude wise these people should be boycotted then they realise their extreme arrogance!
