Not the best but definitely can’t go wrong. Reasonable prices. Good variety of side dishes.

Right for my taste. Rich soup not diluted. Limited Parallel parking only. So watch out for bookings every 2 hours.
Went in the morning. Nice and cooling

Very nice Bak Kut Teh, peppery and tingles the ears. Get the premium rib. This shop has been running since the late 70s, haven't tasted any similar.
Warning, don't bother with the liver, disappointing-then again you shouldn't be going there for liver.

Amazing Bak Kut Teh. They provided unlimited soup that is served hot from the kettle near you. The staff are friendly and provide good service.

Good ba kut teh even after being bought over by Jumbo. Warning: super spicy. I always go for the spare ribs. Top up soup as many times as you want. Just don't waste food!

Teochew style pork rib soup (spicy)... a very nice place to eat

$$:S$15-20. Good Bak Kut Teh shop. Not salty brown peppery soup. I ordered "Premium Bak Kut Teh", "Pork Rib Bak Kut Teh" and "Liver & Kidney Combo". "Pork Rib Bak Kut Teh" was stewed well and very soft as not to chew. It is worth to come and try. But Premium was a bit different from what I expected. So I prefer Pork Rib much more than Premium this time. Kidney was also nice.

Good for those who like a very peppery bak ku teh. Place is clean and service is quick.

Always a great place to bring friends and family.
Broth is peppery and savoury. Best paired with mee sua.

Nice and peppery, definitely packs a punch. Food quality-wise it's about the same as Song Fa. Price is reasonable for this sort of eatery, about 10 dollars for pork ribs soup and rice. Service was good (when there's less crowd I presume) as the waitress took the initiative to top up our soups. Location is less than desirable if you're taking public transport. The nearest train station is about 10 mins away by foot. Nevertheless, it's worth the visit for its authentic taste and old Singapore vibe.

The soup is of the teochew peppery kind, but the broth is not peppery white. I think they mixed a bit of soy in it. The soup is peppery strong and the meat is oh so fatty and tender. The place itself is clean in a quiet neighbourhood, good place to chill. Oh and enjoy free soup refill!

A nice place to have breakfast. The best bak kut teh in town
Joseph Chiam (10/11/2017 06:24)
Soup is peppery. Bak kut teh is tasty and delicious.
Eng Cher Chiew (24/10/2017 02:54)
The quality has been consistent through the years. It is still amongst the favourite bak kut teh restaurant.

Great bak kut teh with spacious seats.

Really peppery spare pork ribs soup. Order 2 braised eggs which just tasty salty and very bitter Shui Siah Tea ☕️ definitely too bitter for my taste.
Stick with the Bak Kut Teh 👍🏻

Great place for ba ku teh. I ordered premium pork ribs, intestines, you tiao, Xiao Bai Cai and bean curd with tau pob.
The meat on the pork ribs peeled off easily. The soup however is too peppery and fiery for my liking. My wife agreed but she loves that. So I guess it's subjective.
The intestines were quite well cleaned and I didn't pick up any offending smell. My wife loves the Youtiao and it's very crispy and it goes well with the soup. The vegetables is simple yet delicious with the garlic.

I must say it taste and feels different after being sold to Jumbo Group. Good Bak Kut Teh nevertheless.

The BKT here is awesome and the Chilli are great! Can't wait to come here once a week!
Elvin Lin (08/07/2017 10:52)
If you like the peppery kind of bak kut teh, this is the place you should be visiting. Part of the JUMBO restaurant group, Ng Ah Sio BKT has good customer service and a pleasant family place to dine in!

One of my favorite bak kut teh places in Singapore, and one I visit regularly. Would have given 5 stars but the soup on my last visit was too peppery (so much so that it overwhelmed all the other flavors). However, the large and small intestines were great, as were the Xiao Bai Chai and Dao Pok and Tofu. The service was prompt, and the ambience nice.
Gary Elsworth (31/05/2017 04:31)
Hadn't been here for a long time, my recent visit made me wonder why. The pork ribs are juicy, the soup so tasty. The standard never varies, always reliable, always great. Even if you're not close by, go there! It's usually busy, you'll probably have to queue, but it's worth it.

Very peppery bak kut teh. Not to my liking. Meat too hard. Soup given is too little.
Rachel Ho (26/04/2017 15:41)
Best white bak ku teh. Don't really like white based soup but this is exception!
Win Myat Thu (25/02/2017 02:49)
Peppery taste, small portion but taste good.
We had Bak Kut Teh (got only 2 pcs of ribs), pig trotter (not impressive), pig intestine (quite good), lime juice (fantastic). Soup was re filled. I did enjoy very much having this soup over and over again. Overall my experience was above average. If the portion of Bak Kut Teh is bigger, I would rate 5 stars.
Pornlert Kulprasootdilok (21/02/2017 06:42)
Nice broth with pepper based. The price is quite steep though, especially the drink.
Jeremy Koh (07/01/2017 13:10)
Peppery soup with the right kind of flavor. Does have the oomph feel in it. Personally I love spicy food so drinking the soup with the bah kut plus small chili is just heavenly. The only drawback is the meat is not as tender as other joints. Other than that, it's definitely worth coming back.
Pichaya Viwatrujirapong (11/12/2016 02:36)
Love the soup here. Porkand liver are so soft. Ribs is good as well.
The food comes pretty fast comparing to how pack this place is.
Ck Teng (05/11/2016 01:24)
We went to try out the place after our singapore host repeatedly recommended it. He claimed this is one of the TOP few 肉骨茶 shops in Singapore. However, we were completely disappointed.... Food wise, the soup was too peppery and tasted like we were drinking soup made of gun powder. The meat was smelly- tasted 'porky' and rancid, it was also very tough(柴)and not marinated. Not to mentioned We ordered the more expensive version - the 招牌排骨, shudder to think if we ordered the cheaper version. The side dishes were also not nice at all. 油條 was soggy, the peanut and 咸菜 tasted like canned food.
The restaurant was not well ventilated and was very stuffy in the afternoon. The toilet was 'atrocious', it was so dirty and definitely not what we would expect a Singapore toilet would be. There are soiled toilet papers littered all over the toilet.
Definitely not recommending this place.

A place for nice bak kut teh! The soup is definitely rich and peppery for my taste bud. Service is good.

Busy place. Good bak kut teh for Singapore.
Peng Yu Goh (14/09/2016 11:47)
Still the best peppery bak kut teh in Singapore. Been to a few of their other outlets , wasn't as good as the one in rangoon red.
Ferry Sutanto (08/07/2016 14:49)
Bakut was very delicious. Rou Gu Cha was one the best.
DingXiang Tan (08/07/2016 14:31)
Decent bak kut teh experience. Soup could be less salty.
Ervin Yeo (08/07/2016 08:58)
They serve the pepper style Bak Kut Teh. Tasty but not very suitable if you have children (and adults) who cannot handle the strong pepper taste.
Wai Leung Choi (05/07/2016 17:55)
The Bak Kut Teh here was very nice, I like the very rich taste of them, you can refill the soup and thet gave me a lot of garlic, I like the rich pepper taste of their soup instead of other famous brand of Bak Kut Teh.
Sean Jeremiah (30/06/2016 07:05)
With such strong pepper and garlic flavors, the bak kut teh might not be everyone's bowl of soup. If it suits your palate, free refills of soup are available. Although I did enjoy the bak kut teh, I felt the mee sua to be a little out of place. The mushrooms are good but are nothing to shout about. Recommended order: bak kut teh, plain rice, fried bread stick, (and maybe vege).
