The facilities are really good. The gym and swimming pool are of standard and the rooms are very cool. The toilets are very nicely designed and the breakfast spreads are amazing. The best part about it is that it is only a stones throw away from Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall.

Built in 2007, Nagoya Hill is a largest shopping mall in Batam, it is considered as most crowded and visited by local people in Batam because of the strategic location. Nagoya Hill also became a best choice for tourist destination and attracts lot of tourism in Batam. It is no wonder that the Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall is such a hit with both tourists and locals alike.
Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall is a shopping place that provides fairly complete retail goods with a relatively cheap price. The name of Nagoya Hill is originated from area city named Nagoya in Batam, this region which is also known as Lubuk Baja, and the mall was built in hilly areas is quite large, approximately: 8.9 acres.
Nagoya Hill is to apply the concept of City Walk, a mix of shopping and business means that both local and imported complete in one large area and can be visited on foot. This is a similar concept called as One Stop Travel Shopping.
In Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall superblock there are retail businesses ranging from a variety of electronic goods, clothes, bags, various kinds of food, movie theater or Cinema 21, Hypermart, a cafe with free internet connection, etc. It is equipped with lots of eating places that offer local cuisine from various regions in Indonesia as well as international cuisine.
There are various stores that sell a variety of needs such as clothing, accessories, sports equipment, supplies, etc. There are two big tenants in this mall: Matahari Department Store and Hypermart, giant retail store in Indonesia. Matahari provides high quality fashion products at an affordable price. You can find t-shirts, shirts, blouses, pants, shorts, lingerie, shoes, slippers, socks and kids fashion. Hypermart is largest retail in town which local people purchase their daily need, from fashion apparels, electronics products, grocery, fresh food, household furniture, home appliances, entertainment products and mini pharmacy.
Domestic visitors (from Jakarta) will usually visit to search for cell phone, because here the well-known and complete gadget which may not found in Jakarta. Because Batam is very close to Singapore, an item of goods in Nagoya Hill is not much different from the mall in Singapore and of course with a cheaper price. You can stop by to the Under Ground Floor for the electronics product like DSLR Cameras, Digital Cameras, Mobile Phone, Gaming Equipment, Computers & Laptop with very affordable price.
There is a food street which is located inside the building with an open indoor building; it is look like Bugis Junction in Singapore. There are a wide range of cafes, fresh fruit stalls, fresh cake and restaurants serving different cuisines to your taste like A&W, DingTea, Ochado, Shihlin (Taiwan Street Snacks), Ayam Penyet Ria (Traditional Fried Chicken), KFC, Solaria, Grand Duck, Ayam Goreng Fatmawati (various fried chicken, and side dish like fried tempe, fried tofu, etc), Shuang Hong Ba Kut Teh, Pizza Hut, Sun Bread and other local food.
If you are tired, and need a rest there, you could enjoy your coffee time at several hangout places, such as: J.Co Donuts & Coffee, Gadeno Pizza & Steak Menu, Coffee Town Kaya Toast, Bistro Godiva, Kangen Cafe, Enjoya Cafe, Uncle Yang, Enjoya (yoghurt and coffee), Coffee Luwak Cafe. Or you could consider watching a movie at Studio Hill 21 in toppest floor.
Batam Island enjoys a tropical climate all year round with an average temperature of 26 to 34 degrees celsius. In these hot days, you can chilled yourself with cold drinks, 5′c Fresh Tea, DingTea, Ochado, Teatag.
There is a big trend In Batam for those tourists to come for having relax time, having massage, getting spa course, and facial beauty treatment for woman or mans, even nail pedicure or hair saloon also could be found in here. One of most well known was Eska Spa and Wellness.

Nice hotel, great location just opposite to Nagoya Mall biigest mall in Nagoya, comfortable bed and rooms are clean. Price is quite okay compared to others hotel in the area. Breakfast are quite good and room service foods are superb, should try!

Nagoya hill hotel has the best service overall. This is my 3rd visit to this hotel. Very convenient to the shopping mall as well, just a short walking distance of 5mins

You can't request online transportation pickup here, have to walk to the street and wait there. How the hell this happened? What if the guests have baggage? I stayed at hotel and have to use the not-so-friendly-expensive-barbaric-taxi? Not recommended, just choose other hotel if you wanna stay more than 1 day

Hotel is clean. Room size is reasonable. Price is a bit costly. Location is great as it is just beside the shopping mall

If you are in Batam and shopping is your main itinerary, this hotel is the perfect location. It is just besides the shopping mall and alot of other shops

1.The toilet room and lobby smelled like a sewer and
2.The receptionist are unhelpful, dishonest.
The room that i booked was "not ready" and the person has not "checked out yet." When they assigned us to s temporary room, I saw the supervisor at the 7th flr passing by and asked him about the availability of the room we booked. He said it was ready a long time ago, and for the second room that we request also not blocked yet based on his list... contradictory to what the receptionist and sales staf told me.
3. The swimming pool small, reasonably short although not very deep.
4. The breakfast not very exciting
5.The lobby smell of smoke NOT like 4 stars hotel
Thankfully WE stayed there just one night.
For those going to Batam to enjoy a short gateway my advice you can book Grand I Hotel, a hotel is on the same side of Nagoya Shopping mall. They give us early check in, Friendly and understanding receptionist, warm welcome drink. Full carpeted room and Glorious breakfast.

A pretty new hotel in the middle of town. Nagoya hill is just a minutes away from this hotel, you can find foods, leisure, shopping, movies easily when you choose to stay in this hotel. As for pricewise, it might not be cheap but considering the conveniency , this hotel is definitely a good option

Hotel facilities is great. Clean room and swimming pool. Services rendered are exceptional. Mini bar comes compliment. Location just beside nagoya hill shopping mall. What can you asked for more?

We tried it when it first opened. The food is so so and the room is standard. There's no cable yet at the time but it has smart TVs and wifi so you can at least watch some YouTube. Parking is not good but it is really close to the mall which is nice I suppose.
It has nice interior decor but I'd not explored the place fully yet to know what they have.
From what I heard the pricing had shot up drastically after a few months even for small rooms, so it'd be highly unlikely for us to visit again.

I was quite impress that there are security Guards outside the hotel but after I checked in, it's really disappointed with the hotel. The hotel receptionist made an unacceptable mistake during check in. They assigned me a room whereby it is already been occupied by another traveller. When I open the room door, I was shock to see other people's belongings in the room. Luckily there are no one in the room if not I will be invading others people privacy and i will not know will happen next. This is an unacceptable mistake whereby it should not happened in this hospitality industry. How will I be able to trust the staff that they won't assign my room to other traveller?? The management really have to look into this matter seriously and to educate the staffs to take every steps to prevent such things to happen again.

good location. just cross a main road to nagoya shopping. Pub and massage nearby. room is average.. a bit smelly and occasional smell of cigarette even though in non smoking floor.. maybe due to centralised aircon. TV got international channels. breakfast is good.

Hotel is clean and spacious for the triple delux room. Toilet ventilation not so good, a bit of a musky smell. Overall a comfortable stay

Near to Nagoya Hill shopping mall, there is even a sheltered link-way to the mall in a 5 min walking distance. Superb room that allowed an extra bed. Nice breakfast buffet. Friendly staff and good service.

An amazing stay and a great location - just beside Nagoya Hill Shopping mall.
The room is clean, spacious and well lit. Breakfast spread is impressive and would satisfy even the fussiest eater.
Service level is impressive as well.

Very friendly staff. Taxi drivers in the area are a bit annoying though as you walk around. Every 20ft or so their is another one asking you if you need a ride.

Close to Nagoya Hill Mall, where I can buy variety food and culinary and sightseeing, friendly staff, clean room. I spent 3 nights in this hotel. Good job!!!

I booked 6room for 2nights holiday....cosy n clean hotel,satisfied n near to go shopping anytime u like....breakfast fantastic... will come again for the forth tyme....soon:)
