Great place for food rather than shopping. There are a lot of varieties of food to choose and beside that there is a 24 hours supermarket! But please be aware that the shopping mall is crowded on weekends.

Great mall very big many things to do eat and shop there. Many of the big f&b brands can be found there. But big mall means a lot of people and it can be crowded during peak hours and there will definitely be queues during meal times. The NTUC is big and is always joy to shop after meals. Good place for both the old and young

This place has everything.
- 24 Hour Fairprice, strangely located at the 4th floor, going there in the middle of the night is like walking in an abandoned mall in a zombie apocalypse, sans all the loot
- 24 Hour Gym, no excuses for skipping leg day
- Fast Food Galore, with exception of Burger King...
- Plenty of Restaurants, for those special occasions or if you're just craving for some fine dining
- Public Library
- Electronics/Furniture/Clothing Retail
- Dry Cleaning Services
- Recreational area for pets!
- Movie Theatre, I almost forgot this one
All that jam-packed into one decently-sized mall. They've effectively reduce the need to travel anywhere far if you stay here. Awesome place

Huge mall, with great variety of shops ranging from food, entertainment to fashion stalls. The mall can be quite confusing to get around due to its vast size and you may want to check the directory if you are finding a specific stall. Food here have a good variety of more affordable options like food junction to more high quality restaurants.
Jerry Lai (29/04/2018 16:29)
Large selection of shops, good for day to day purchases. Not many designer boutiques though. Lift lobbies can be hard to find. Roof area is really nice.

Very good place to shop especially food stalls. Japanese food eating places are especially good. This shopping centre is very big and connected with bus terminal and mrt station. Good.

A mall designed and equipped to fulfill your every need. It comes complete with a gaming arcade, a pet safari, a library, a cinema, a 24-hour gym and even a mini water playground where you can get wet and have a lot of fun. Just don’t get too overboard as it’s mainly meant for kids and Singapore is after all quite a conservative country.

Big shopping mall that has lots of variety of shops. There are also lots of restaurants to choose from. The rooftop even has a water-play area if you're bringing your kids there. The rooftop view is great! However recently they have added a barrier so as to not let toddlers go near the rooftop. It is so goddamn wide that I don't think it serves a purpose and just blocks the view. Almost all of the toilets are disgusting. One side of the mall is really quiet too as it is hard to find. I think this does not give a chance to those shop owners that are trying to do business. I suggest you add in a few more attractions at the place near Uniqlo as it is just a dead corner of the mall.

Huge place, poor layout means it's easy to get lost. Lots of things to do, watch movies, eat, shop. Etc etc. Just don't drive here because the parking is horrible. Take the train.
Ryan Vincent Vicente (07/03/2018 01:20)
It's a great place for shopping and dining. There are lots of food choices including a food court. Most of the major brands are available for your shopping needs. There's also a 24 hour grocery. There are also cinemas and play areas for the kids.
Gordon Chia (23/02/2018 11:26)
Fancy some Arcade fun? The arcade at level 4 offers a variety of rides. If you're feeling peckish, any of the famous eateries around will satisfy whatever craving you have. The mall has so many things to do, where will you go Nex? ;)

This shopping mall is a maze if this is your first time here. That aside, it is a foodie paradise. Floors upon floors of eateries, cafes and restaurants. This mall houses major branded outlets which you find in town, so there is no need for most people to travel further. It is the only mall I know which has both NTUC Fairprice and Cold Storage supermarkets under the same roof.
Raymond Yew (17/11/2017 13:43)
Great place, central location and many public transports pass by this place.
Down side is too crowded at time.
Boast a large retail variety, and also good quality shops as well.

A heartland mall suitable for people staying in that area. Other than that it is super crowded! People queue to get up the escalator. Pretty confusing layout for those who don't frequent there. Definitely not a place to go if you hate crowd!
Melvin Sim (13/11/2017 18:59)
Lots of food options available mainly for families in the heartlands. It has the various fast food joints as well as a few popular all-you-can-eat places which would be popular with the younger set and students as well. A food court is also available for cheaper and/or local fare.
Shopping options are also tailored to be more family friendly or youth orientated as well and not so much toward the high end.
The mall is conveniently located atop of Serangoon MRT Station and bus interchange, it also has parking but can get crowded on the weekends.
Thaddeus Heng (15/10/2017 06:19)
Very pet-friendly. Good for a day out with the family. However, location is a bit secluded and hard to access, being in the North. Toilet could be slightly cleaner. Rate a 3.75.
Scottz Lip (15/09/2017 16:51)
This is a mall that has all the services and products you are looking for! Including pet grooming service at the TOP level. Family friendly. Entertainment includes a movie place, arcade center, karaoke, library (which closes on Sunday) and a roof TOP water playground. Amazing place.
Khad B. (11/09/2017 10:03)
Decent mall. U can do a one stop shop for everything here and eat comfortably. There is something for everyone. Roof waterpark. Huge gym (A.Fitness) Restaurants. Library.
Dave Daves (10/09/2017 13:45)
NEX is one of my favourite study spots. The reasons are simple; it offers a public library where I can go to study, has many great food outlets available, and is conveniently located next to a bus interchange and a MRT station which has two train lines. Lastly, even when I'm taking a break from studying, there are several well known retail outlets where I can do my window shopping or even buy something. However, it would be great if the library could include more seats as it can get really packed during weekends and sometimes I have to sit on the floor. Also, the mall should consider lowering the prices of the items sold at the food courts as I feel that they are a little too expensive.

Good place for neighbourhood shopping..
But feel strongly that the toilets in this mall need to be renovate. The design for each cubicle is simply too small esp for a shopping mall. I have to squeeze myself to the dirty side wall of the cubicle holding my bag n shopping bag in order to close the door... 🤤
Sean Michael Yip (02/08/2017 05:42)
Nice Shopping Mall, convenient location, good mix of shops.
Well maintained overall. Toilets could be improved slightly but the condition is to be expected, considering the volume of people visiting this mall.
Good selection of food choices, plenty of choices for retail shopping, 2 supermarkets in one mall as well.
Only problem is parking in the mall is an absolute nightmare during peak hours. Avoid at parking here at all costs.
Walter Loo (05/07/2017 07:20)
A worthy mega mall. There are enough food outlets for everyone, traditional as well as theme-based version.
The air-con is good. Crowd level is medium so one does not feel lonely and yet feel too crowded.
One day of window shopping is not enough!
felicia ten (02/07/2017 13:49)
The environment is comfortable. UOB staffs are professional and good in customer services. However the beauty products' sales girls are too aggressive and one of them was trying to sell me a scrub without giving me a room of consideration, she's really annoying.
Clayton Chua (28/06/2017 10:45)
Located in the heartlands, right beside Serangoon MRT. Easily accessible with the Circle line or North East line. Has a 24 hours Cold Storage and NTUC for the grocery needs. Wide variety of dining options for meals. Decent amount of shops ranging from fashion to home appliances. Has a cinema and library too!
Mui Zhen Ho (20/06/2017 18:50)
A shopping mall to do your last minute shopping for clothes for tomorrow's job interview, h&ms, cotton on, g2000, etc., and with wide variety of food, you will never go hungry. But it can be quite crowded compared to other neighbourhood malls. Carpark lots are limited too, you may consider taking public transport since its quite convenient (Serangoon Interchange)
Darren Sim (28/05/2017 03:10)
It's such a good place because it's located in the middle of Singapore and is easily accessible by train. Plus it has a large variety of products from clothes to food. Basically all the more common stalls can be found here.
Neo Er Jyn (08/05/2017 17:20)
Love this mall. But too many choke points near escalator. Management team should review their planning
Mike n Ruth Smith (04/05/2017 14:36)
So ramen -food great - ambience lousy. Staff seem to think it is fun to shout welcome in Japanese at top of their voices. Just disturbs diners. Service very average - no thank you. Not for me
Kino Ong (18/04/2017 13:52)
Always love this mall for the variety of dining options and brands. And as a dog person, definitely love the doggy park at the rooftop area.
Ashok Kizhepat (17/04/2017 09:35)
A nice shopping mall that is at the heart of Serangoon central town center. Hosts good eateries and shops for the young urban. Ambience at the food republic is cool and trendy. Great place to hang out.
Ong Tze Wee (12/04/2017 14:41)
Great food variety options. Things to note. Starbucks under renovation. Last checked on 12 april 2017. Library is quiet and conducive
Madankumar Balakrishnan (05/03/2017 09:45)
Big mall with lots of shops, restaurants and cinema. Able to find pretty much anything you need in one place. Also a transport hub with bus interchange and 2 train lines, NEL and Circle Line.
Steven L Santoso (24/02/2017 01:48)
A great mall with lots of food shops - there's even two food courts. There's also an arcade and a cinema somewhere at the top floor.
Ian Matthias Ng (01/02/2017 15:28)
Good variety of food, shopping and entertainment options. Unfortunately the mall is laid out like a maze so shops can be hard to track down. Signage is poor. Be prepared to get lost often.
Rellangis One (15/01/2017 08:38)
Big shopping centre with lots of shops, restaurants and cinema theatre. There is even a nice library and water playground at the top of the building. Family friendly although there is a huge crowd of people every weekend. Best to explore during weekdays.
Ratini Tini (26/10/2016 23:52)
Ever time i change in mrt seranggon good and nice to walk from mrt sengkang
Jeremy Tan (09/10/2016 08:18)
Biggest heartland mall in the Northeast area. Well connected via circle and nel mrt lines and a bus interchange.
Anything you need in one location. Cinema, ntuc and cold storage super/hypermarket, both budget and restaurant food options, plenty of snack shops, fashion, toys, games, bookstore, services (telco, clinic, library, etc.)
If this is your first trip, you can spend a good four to six hours here.
Meng Tak Chong (09/10/2016 03:31)
Great food and shopping selections with anchor tenants like Shaw and Ntuc. Parking can be quite a challenged during peak hours and weekends. Can park at nex, old interchange ( level 2 and 3) or the open carpet behind the old interchange. Roads do get congested during evening hours.
Andrew Lim (03/10/2016 15:41)
Great place to shop and huge mall that brings in the crowds. I went there on a weekday (working hours) and I was shocked to see that it is packed. Good shop selections and food too.
My boy got his school supplies for the new term but the parking can be crazy so we parked off the property and walked over from the adjacent housing estate. Overall, very impressed with this shopping centre.
Justin Chan (29/09/2016 15:18)
Food and shopping options are great, but parking here can be challenging. For the sake of simplicity, there are essentially two parking spaces: the shopping centre's, which you can access from the Cotton On/Uniqlo side, or the adjoining HDB multi-storey carpark, which you can access from an exit at the Pandora shop. Do find your own markers to identify the carpark exits, trust me, you will get lost if you don't!
Samson Ong (10/07/2016 03:22)
Nice shopping mall. Serangoon MRT right under it. Got NTUC supermarket, cinema, lots of restaurants and shops, Isetan, Courts etc. Everything under one roof.
Yuan Xi Oh (08/07/2016 10:10)
Convenient location! Right above and MRT interchange (Serrangoon Station), this mall had plenty to offer. Numerous number of eateries, and it even has 2 food courts on different levels of the mall. There's also a play area for kids on the roof of the building, and one for pets too!
Benjamin Yang (28/06/2016 10:44)
This place has got everything (having 2 different supermarkets for example) you'd want and sits right atop an MRT sation and a bus interchange. It is no wonder it is busy most of the time. But definitely worth checking out for something you need.
Chi Wei Koh (14/06/2016 05:42)
Lots of shops for the family including a huge Pets Lover Center, FairPrice Xtra, Cold Storage, Popular Bookstore, Courts and Isetan. Large selection of food outlets including Sushi Tei, Qiji, Sushi Express, Nandos and 2 food courts. Parking is not very convenient though, limited space available. Need to queue to get into the Carpark on Weekends.
Ang Weilun (11/06/2016 08:27)
I like that there are sometimes there are special events for the locals but the organisation is quite messy making it quite hard to navigate. Also the carpark may be one of the worst. A long line can be commonly seen outside of the mall this could mean the lack of carpark space. However Nex variety of food is very big
