Dr Vanessa and her staff are a very kind-hearted and highly experienced group of people who always does their best when it comes to the care and health of every animal that goes through the clinic doors.
We’ve been clients/patients of My Family Vet since 3 years ago when we got our first dog and we’ve been recommending family and friends here ever since despite the long waiting time.

Dr Vanessa Lin is a very experienced and detailed Vet. She is also very passionate about her work, making sure that our fur kid is well taken care of and also giving us advices on what to look out for his condition. We had met a lot of pawrents coming from all the way from the east and all over the island just to get their fur kid (both dogs and cats) check up and diagnose by Dr Lin herself. Kudos to Dr Lin and her team! 👍🏼

Dr Vanessa Lin is such a professional and meticulous Vet. She treat all her paw patient as if like her own pet. She handle them with care and making sure she could give the best help to your sick pet. My dog was handled well by her every visit and she really go all out making sure everything is okay and advise us clearly on what to follow up and on the intake of the medication. Had a chat with the other customer while waiting for my turn, and everyone actually have the same thought as me and that explains why everyone goes back to her. She deserve really more than just a compliment. Kudos to My Family Vet!

Super friendly, professional vet. Brought in my new kitten for case of fungal and ear mites. The vet exhibited such professionalism that is so hard to find nowadays.
Extremely patient and understanding and only wants whats best for your pet. Highly recommended! !
Ignore whatever the hell petty people say about this vet, this vet is awesome, friendly and super understanding
Will come again in the future for sure to have Dr V have a look at my kitten

Took my kitten there first time, if you see a lot of people waiting that's because this clinic don't allow appointment so everyone walk-in and take queue number (very disorganized, read on), pet owner can walk-in and say my pet emergency and she will let you cut queue! Vet don't say sorry when she let people cut your queue, she would say the previous one is emergency and expect you to take it or leave it. Consultation room has paper thin walls that everything she said to pet owners can be clearly heard outside. Not sure why she thinks this is appropriate for others to hear your pet's consultation but you need to leave the room for her to examine your pet. It's one thing to wear makeup for work to look presentable but it's another to show up with thick makeup (more suited for clubbing) and then told us she was late because gastric. But had time and strength to put on full makeup??? Appeared judgmental when found out my kitten is not rescue and adopt. Her table has loose dog fur shaved from the previous patient who suffers from skin problem, did not look like she sterilize the table before seeing our kitten. Did tests on my kitten told us he has mites (no signs before we visited vet). Went home applied medication and condition worse, kitten started losing fur in patches. Felt to me that she has more 'love' for dogs than cats. Most unprofessional vet I've ever seen. No way in hell we will go back, we found a good vet clinic in Jurong and now both my cats see the vets there. Major thumbs down.

My mom had such a bad experience with Dr Vanessa. Her lack of good prognosis, good diagnostic skills had left my mom's dog in a worse state than before. It has been a horrible ordeal especially when her dog was so sick and Dr Vanessa could not offer a good treatment plan nor solution. Just prescribed medication which is expensive and did not work. Or suggested another surgery. After which, I advised my mom to just go ahead and switch to Mount Pleasant at Whitley. As it turned out, doctors there are way more professional and competent. Given the five stars review, I think there's a need for a realistic different opinion on this clinic. Seriously would not recommend unless you're in ride. I wish I could give zero star.

Dr Lin is an extremely efficient, knowledgeabe and skilled vet who takes the time to educate and explain to pet owners how to take better care of their furkids, and her great compassion for all creatures big and small shines through.
Extremely grateful to her and her staff for responding rapidly to an emergency when one of our cats fell very sick and nursed him back to health.

Good experienced vet, we went to another vet who is expensive and apparently did not give the right diagnosis. This vet is very experienced and our dog is well and happy.

A unique experience for my first visit to this clinic to see Dr Van...a clinic that issues no queue numbers so tis jus walk in and wait to be seen. Fair practice indeed!Good! Waited for more than an hour but it was all worth it to see a veterinarian Dr Van who is very focussed on the issue at hand n she gives a very vivid explanation of the issue followed by explicit procedure she would adopt to alleviate n ease my JR's bloating prob. She explains the importance n need for further review n even the costs envisaged. A very understanding vet who embraces the issues of costs n necessary action needed putting dog owners at ease. Dr Van knows her stuff well n is sharp to understand the underlying problems n sufferings of my pet. She is steadfast in her duty n dishes out candid advice n follow-up reviews with pure intentions to nip the problem in the bud. Tis the first time I see a vet examining animals alone while owners are gracefully ushered out and the animals behaved well during clinical examination without a whine or bark. Really amazing isn't it or perhaps the animals were mesmerised or cast under her spell of a beau with a kind heart and loads of patience n love for animals.Equally amazed was to see a patient receptionist who is a dutiful n efficient young Malay girl who handles animals so well n answers pet owners questions promptly. Well done Dr Van and her staff! Thank you for the immaculate service in allaying my fears in my JR's problems who finds the clinic comfortable. Keep up the good work!

the BEST vet I have seen to date! Dr Van is not only thorough in checking my pet Ginger, but has also given a very clear account on what are the diagnosis and what the prescribed medication can do to treat Ginger. None of the 3 vets I have seen previously offered to shave my dog to have a closer investigation at her sensitive skin/paws. I was expecting common reply like it's a common complaint about sensitive skin in Shih Tze. I was so happy that I made the decision to come down for a last attempt on vet as Dr Van was highly recommended by my neighbour. She's indeed a really good vet with a heart! Oh, she's pretty too.

The vet is very pretty and patience. Friendly vet who cares for the dog. Cost of medicine and consultation is reasonable. Now my dog ear infection is cured. Good service and reasonable price. Only cons is waiting time cox long queue.
