Nurses - Excellent! Very caring.
Butler - Better than any 5 star hotel and restaurants. Superb!
Room Attendants - They make your day and clean the room sparkling clean. No worries about germs.
A&E - not more than 10 patients but reception service is akin to old folks home - assigned the wrong specialist despite referral letter and verbal reminders from us.
RMO - WOW Thumbs Up! Unlike SGH, very skillful in needle insertion.
Surprisingly more professional than the old specialist that came.
Doctors - Depends on who you get. We had upon admission informed the hospital about my girl's asthmatic cough condition and the first doctor had advised us to return home to fetch her asthma medicine back to the hospital immediately. I went to fetch her medicine at 3am.
The next doctor who took over the treatment of my daughter diagnosed with pneumonia, was very senior and old. When my daughter was about ready for discharge, she came down with an asthma attack. This is when I found out that during the entire treatment of pneumonia, for 7 days, her asthma medicine has been completely removed - in fact locked up in a cabinet.
We all panicked. RMO rushed down at midnight to check her but did not dare offer asthma medication despite the loud wheezing because it would run counter to the earlier doctor's instructions - which was to have it removed.
My daughter wheezed through the night with no asthma medicine. The next day, we received a defensive lecturing instead of an apology for locking up the poor child's asthmatic medicine - without parent's knowledge.
But why? We were wondering.
We were speechless upon being told that asthma medicine was " not necessary " in this doctor's earnest opinion.
The next doctor who came to salvage my gal was a great comfort to us. He is well versed in both treatment of pneumonia and asthma. His nurse promptly delivered the asthma medicine to the ward personally.
My girl got much better and could finally be discharged.
This doctor is a very lovely and intelligent doctor with his heart in the right place. His rates are very reasonable.
He advised us to make sure asthma medicine be taken on a daily basis - and we know we finally got the right doctor. :)

Summary: It’s more about your money than your health
(+) POSITIVE
(+) Room facilities (the room and bathroom was like in a 4 star hotel)
(+) Friendly staff (Helped with whatever you needed)
(+) Modern equipment (MRI, USG, ...)
(+) Skilled doctors (I felt in very good hands)
(-) NEGATIVE
(-) Price Value Ratio: They did a 4 days 3 nights check up for 18.000 SGD but were unable to find the tumors in my head and belly. A few weeks later in Germany the doctors discovered it just in time for an urgent treatment before it was too late.
(-) After sales: I was promised to receive my blood test results and other test results by email as soon as they are available. I had to call and email a dozen times until someone was kind enough to forward the results that were available for many days already
(-) Doctors refused to answer simple yes/no questions or giving any recommendation on the phone after my extensive check up. “If you have questions come to the hospital please”. They knew I was 2.5h away and my condition was serious. Despite that fact they still refused to help.
(-) The hospital refused to provide me the USG images of my abdomen. The biggest of my tumors was found in my lower belly with an diameter of about 20 cm. I assume they made a mistake by overlooking this huge tumor and therefore refused to provide the images.
SUMMARY
After all I wouldn’t go there again. Next time I have a serious health condition I will fly directly to Germany or Australia (closer to Bali).

Admission is slow and paper work is lengthy.
Two bedded room is pretty small, the room can get very rowdy when there’s too much visitors. No head phone provided for the TV, you cannot really watch with raised volume as it will disturbed your neighbouring bed. You can only watch it using subtitle.
Plus point, locker and safe box provided in the room.
Food wise, selection is wide and food is tasty.
I wonder if it is because it is at Orchard road or there’s really a lot of patients, but ground level is always crowded. Ground level feels more like a shopping mall than hospital.
I was in the isolation room as I was admitted to other hospital before admitted here. If I were to compare, infection control seems to be have some gaps. Visitors were not asked to put on mask when entering. I was not asked to put on mask when leaving the room. The door was always left open.
Services is consider average for the price I have paid for.

Great Staff ! They have the ability to scold patients who paid for the medical service. Truly blessed to observe such hideous behaviour at a supposedly prestigious hospital. The incoherent split of personalities displayed by a few of the Nurses are terrific ways of exploring the many possibilities of how humans can behave. Nonetheless, there are some who are relatively friendly and outgoing, which is greatly appreciated. Above all, being hospitalised here is more of a learning experience above anything else, and I’ve learnt not to return. Great going.

One of the best hospitals I went to. I have a very long medical history have been treated in 4 different countries for brain surgery. My last one was in Mt. Elizabeth hospital. Their service and treatment is world class. Highly recommend this hospital for any treatment, not just brain issues.

My go-to private hospital here in Singapore. They house one of the best sets of professional specialists and patient care team, and is especially convenient along Orchard Road.

Old hospital with rigid staff although the doctor's are decent enough. Not a good impression. Also, parking charges here run up to $4/ half an hour. Daylight robbery. Wouldn't come back here.

This is one of the first class hospitals in Singapore. There are various nationals come here for examinations and treatments. The physicians, nurses, and staff are professional. The parking lot is wide; and right in front of the hospital there is Paragon Shopping Center, and the lively Orchard Road is only a few minutes walk.

Very efficient, professional, knowledgeable doctors. Prices are above average, but professional service is very high. thinking along with the client, finding solutions and schedules that make it possible to plan a visit, stay a few days in a hotel outside, and obtain full service.

It is one of the best hospitals in Singapore. My father usually goes here for check ups. I am happy with how friendly the staffs and doctors are at this hospital. The food in the cafeteria is decent. It is also close to Paragon Mall so you can go shopping right after a check up.

Spacious, well-organized, and not too crowded. Staff were courteous and attentive, though the location is not ideal - too close to Orchard Road, with significant traffic. Elevators are difficult to navigate.

I needed surgery during my holiday in Indonesia and needed ongoing treatment back in Singapore. Choose Mount Elizabeth Hospital due to good reviews and they had a specialist in the area i needed it.
After waiting for more than one hour for my appointment the doctor was very arrogant and unfriendly (starting at not greeting me, continuing to criticising the surgent in Indonesia and giving me wrong advice as another doctor told me later).
Also the nurses were not very careful. I had an open fracture and there was still a wound. The nurse decided to just wear one glove and by turning my hand she was not careful enough to not touch the wound with her hand without glove. The wrapping they made was way to tight so that I woke up several times at night due to pain and I had to go to another doctor the next day to change the wrapping. I got charged an enormous amount for a short simple follow up treatment.
Overall a very bad experience, especially after I got very good and careful treating in Indonesia, I would have expected similar in Singapore.
After all I went to Raffels Hospital were I finally got good, careful and very satisfying treatment.
