This park gives the beautiful view of Singapore and have very unique thing to show. The national animal of Singapore. The merlion or lion.
This park shows the best park of Singapore with one side as the giant flyer and other side Marina Bay Sand. Its also shows the richest banks of the world on the other side. The sky life is so fantastic that one can fall in love any time and when the sun sets, it’s heavenly view.
This place also offers variety of foods which are no doubt tempting. Have a sip of coffee and enjoy your life. Full stars.

Currently there is a light show on the Merlion at the Merlion in conjunction with the Ilight Marina Bay 2018.( from 9 Mar to 1 Apr 2018) . Beautiful place to take photo of the iconic Merlion.
You can also see the nightly laser show of the Marina Bay Sands from here. The timing of the show is 8pm and 9pm nightly , with a additional show at 10pm on Friday and Saturday. You will find a lot of tourist here everyday. Sometimes you will also spot couples taking their wedding photos here .

I tried to take a picture in a different perspective here, instead taking picture of Merlion, I took the picture of the sunrise with sorrounding horizon and iconic Marina Bay Sands at around 6:30AM. I must say the result was not too bad, considering I'm not a photographer. Wonderful Singapore!! Can't wait to my next visit here... 🇸🇬

It was marvelous...I love the view from Merlion. The huge crowd around the Merlion. The park and auditorium are also great and beautiful. The restaurants around the area are also a variety of different countries menus. The location is easily accessible with public transport. During the night the Merlion looks more beautiful than in the morning.

The Merlion Park is wonderful and well maintained. We went there for sunset views and light show at 8 pm. The Merlion is iconic for Singapore. The view areas are busy but manageable. The views were amazing. The light show from the Marina Bay Sands was wonderful.

Tourist destination. I arrived there on 7.30 AM, later on 8 AM There so much people come here for taking photos. The location can reach by bus or by MRT. Just be patient, everyone wants to have nice photo, but you will never find empty spots to take photos.
From here, you can have the perfect view of Marina Bay Sands, Esplanade, Helix Bridge and Singapore Sky Flyer.
The best time taking photos is in the evening.

On Marina Bay, Merlion Park hosts one of Singapore's most recognizable monuments. The Merlion statue is the head of a lion with the body and tail of a fish, and the hybrid creature spouts water from its mouth and into the bay. Measuring 28 feet tall, the statue may seem a bit odd to the naked eye, but the statue is actually a nod to Singapore's history. The head of Merlion represents Singapura, the city's first name, which means 'lion city' in Malay. The fish tail and body symbolizes Singapore's old days as a small fishing town. Even though the statue has claimed all the fame, another notable highlight is the park's panoramic view of the bay. Particularly at night, the urban vista with the spectacular Marina Bay Sands resort impresses visitors.

Kept seeing this in paper and TV from long time. But, directly it's the first time and it is good.
The head is of Lion and body is of a fish.
It's a different kind of sculpture and is maintained well.
The water here is river water, which is clean and neat.
It's a iconic symbol of Singapore.

It is THE iconic landmark of Singapore. To visit Singapore means an obligatory visit to see the impressive Merlion spewing water majestically from it's mouth. The place also gives you a wonderful view of the Marina Baysands hotel. There is a place close-by that hosts open air concerts and other gigs. Definitely worth visiting this area and to soak in the awesomeness of Singapore.

Very amazing touristic place....
Merlion Park located in the business district of the city, the Merlion Park covers an area of almost 2,500 square metres. Visitors to Merlion Park will have a fantastic view of Marina Bay Sands across the water, this integrated resort consists of a hotel, casino, shopping mall, convention centre and museum. The unique design and massive size of Marina Bay Sands has certainly transformed Singapore’s tourism landscape into what it is today.
There are two Merlion statues in this park. The first stands at 8.6 meters tall and the other is 2 metres high. The body of the fish represents the humble origins of the city as a fishing village. Spouting water from the mouth, Merlion statues provide a magnificent view to all spectators.

It rained as we entered. .. but did not stop us from the river cruise. It was a nice ride and got to hear the history along the river side. We got to see twilight and night lighting as well, always good to be there in evening .

An absolute must-visit tourist location when in Singapore, Merlion Park, appropriately named, is home to the Merlion. The half-lion, half-fish mythical being is a symbolic mascot of the country itself.
The park is open 24 hours a day, every day, and offers breathtaking panaromic views of the skyscrapers on the river bed.
While visiting during the day will afford you an opportunity to take pictures with the Merlion anchoring the backdrop, amateur photographers will enjoy paying a visit at night when all the iconic structures, like the Merlion itself, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer and the surrounding buildings are all lit up in a flurry of colors.

Superb ambience... One side Marina sands Bay and on the other side all famous five star hotels of the world and one side regional head quarters of world top banks. One side Singapore Flyer and above all Merlion gushing water out of his mouth... Sitting there sipping beer in classy restaurants... No match
