Nice place for Mexican cuisine...
Decked up in old world ambience. Considerable if you don't mind a little extra expenses....

My 2nd pleasant experience here. Good Mexican food with slightly pricey tag, but worth it for sure~ must order the cheese fondue w tortilla chips!!

Nice appetizers and margaritas but disappointing main course. Ordered nachos, jalapeno poppers and stuffed poblano peppers. All of them were excellent. The margaritas were good too. For the mains, we ordered vegetarian chimichangas and enchiladas. But instead of the usual grilled veggies and cheese, it had green and purple cabbage with soggy cucumber and tasted horrible. The chimichangas were only and soggy. Complete waste of money. Ideal to go only for drinks and snacks.

Beautifully renovated interior. Amazing food and ambience! Great for special date night, group dinner with friends or stopping by for a drink by the bar.

A bit over priced for what they offer

Very tasty and has a cozy feel and looks even better after the renovation. They seem to keep their staff for a very long time, and they have loads of great choices. I went there with my father and mother for their birthdays and go there for special occasions.
One thing is that is is a bit pricey but worth it.

Food as delicious as ever although portions have gotten slightly smaller since recent renovations.

Great food and ambience - I would say the best food possible at Dempsey Hill. Chicken Fajitas were amazing and the Beer Chile was fabulous (although some where within i will still prefer plain chilled Corona). Nachos were great with a good serving of Salsa! Service was a bit slow and a bit deep on the pockets

I really LOVE the decor. In all the Asian countries/cities I've been this is the best I've seen.
We were the first to be seated for lunch and slowly got busier.
The prices are consistent with the vast majority of Restaurants here. Although, I was very upset paying $16 for the smallest portion of Guacamole. I would think they'd make it table side for that price.
The salsa and guacamole doesn't taste fresh as in made there in-restaurant even though waitress say they are.
We ordered Chicken burrito and chicken enchiladas and both were tasty.
Ordered Strawberry margarita and was good.
For dessert we ordered Mexican fried ice cream. Wow what a huge portion...worth the money paid. HOWEVER, this is supposed to be deep fried and served right away. I don't think it's done like the real way this dessert is intended. I thinks it is friend and kept frozen. Still ok...but not how it's really done in Mexico.
Def a place I'd come back again. Eat Mexican food I've had in Singapore so far.

Wonderful! The staff always remember us and the kids are treated very well. One happy mommy!

Perfect for a date night! The drinks are great and the service is warm and friendly. The place has a nice buzz to it that keeps it casual and relaxed. Food is great. The wife had the chorizo and loved it! 5 stars for great service on a busy night.

Andy Lim's food strikes great balance between healthy, tasty and authentic. Innovative presentation. Great options for vegetarians. Reservations recommended.

Excellent food, not authentic Mexican but that doesn't take a bit of flavor. Do yourself a favor and order margaritas, house specialty. Great ambiance. Book in advance if you're going during peak hours, otherwise you'll wait for 30-45 minutes.

We have been to Margarita's a bunch of times and we have never failed to enjoy it. The problem with Mexican food is that most times it is American style Tex-Mex - which is not a bad thing - but this is far more authentic. Fresh, bright ingredients bursting with flavor and tang. The only watch-out is the spice level. It can be unpleasantly hot if you don't ask for mild. Take the little chilis printed in the menu seriously!

Being in Dempsey gives your dining experience a different one. Ate beef fajitas and the beef is nicely done with pink centre. Margaritas is a must. Nice cosy place for gathering with friends.

Love the ambience and food here. While not halal certified, the restaurant does claim to have zabiha chicken and beef but pls do your questioning too. The Quesadillas are special.

Just pre dinner drinks and snacks but all were damn good. The frozen margarita jugs were a great way to start the night.

This place has great grand margaritas. I would highly recommend the tequila lime chicken, nachos and the kahlua tiramisu. Lovely ambience....definitely worth visiting!

Hygiene alert. As we have baby with us, we always make it a point to wipe the table again. We were shocked to see how dirty their table was (see the wet wipe photo). Wonder when was the last time they wipe their table properly.
Food wise im not impressed. Service was slow, need to remind them repeatedly to refill water.

Great space, nice vibe, overpriced and not so good Mexican. Service was good, drinks were great, my chimichanga was not so great. Fundido was just ok. I will probably not be back as there are better options for Mexican in Singapore.

A little bit far from where i live and long waiting time, but it is really worth it ! I really like the range of the choice at Margarita's, especially their chocolate churros. It is a great place and you should go there times to times. However the restaurant is a bit noisy with the music in the background, but nothing is perfect.

This place has been around for while. Steady drinks and food service. Nice relaxed vibe.
Pawarana Suwanjindar (17/02/2017 10:37)
Great space. Jovial vibe. Delicious margaritas. Pitcher is better value than individual margaritas. Food is good portions but I'm not a believer in upscale Mexican. Decently authentic.

Excellent food...good ambience ....frozen margarita is a must try....the staff is friendly...overall a great experience

Great food, nice restaurant. Kitchen sink burrito is always delicious.
Drinks menu needs a bit of a change. They've taken away Negra Modelo and theres no new one so you've got a choice of crap Corona or average San Miguel.
Ranjan Batra (18/12/2016 15:41)
Good ambience! The food is about average. Not comparable to other Mexican restaurants in Singapore. The lime margarita tastes like lemonade and mango one tastes like some mango fruit drink. Burritos are a big disappointment. The food here is not up to the mark in terms of its Mexican taste and quality.
Staff seems to be courteous though, they can be irritating when they frequently come and interrupt you every now and then especially for taking away the used plates even though you may not be done. Impatience and inexperience is noticeable in their conduct.

Amazing ambience - place looks like a lodge, with very high wooden ceilings. Staff are pleasant and helpful, although perhaps a little inattentive. Food was great though (ordered the chicken fajita, chicken chimichanga, vegetarian burrito, and Pastel Azteca) - all thoroughly enjoyable with good portion sizes.
Leon Sae-Ung (09/11/2016 06:59)
Oh I love the food there. Really authentic. And the frozen margaritas are superb
