The food here is great. I loved the lemonade tea. We had the lunch menu and it was plenty of yummy food.

Small quaint place off six Ave. The best Mac and cheese ever. A little pricey though. To avoid disappointment, a reservation should be placed. Parking may be difficult

Crab cakes are awesome. The burger is decent. Fries are soft and oily. Cookies and cream shake is divine. Craft beer selection is excellent. My 7 year old said that it’s one of the best Fish and Chips in Singapore... and that’s all she eats by the way, a well traveled wee girl.

Food is not too bad and cost is manageable. Nice ambience and not too crowded on a weekend night. No complaints and all is good. Great job to the staff.

Nice place, standard price for cafes.
Had the bbq ribs and pork belly burger. Ribs was nice and tender, but the burger wasn't special. Hand cut fries was good.
If you are in mood for beer, will recommend sticking to the tried and proven brands, not so much on the artisan beers.
Waiters are friendly and responsive. Important for such cafes.
Menu looks pretty standard too.

Ordered their Pigwich sandwich and their popular American Buttermilk fried chicken. Portions were big and taste good. But didn't like their fries, too soft and oily.
They have a weekday 2course lunch special with coffee or tea at $22.50, which I think is very reasonable.
Service was very good. Would definitely recommend this place.

This is a small restaurant next to Sixth Avenue. Limited parking in front of the restaurant so best to park at Guthrie House. There is a wide range of food such as crab cakes, risotto balls, chicken drumlets, pork ribs, fried chicken and burgers. There are also good selection of craft beers. Good service and cosy atmosphere.

Great food! Great service! Price reasonably low. Nice customers around too!

If you're gonna have a last meal before, say maybe getting your wisdom teeth plugged out, this is the place to do so. Grab some friends, get a burger, Mac and cheese and fried chicken, strap on a milkshake, prepare for your heart to explode.

Used to be one of the best places to get quality food at reasonable prices at Bukit Timah area. Utterly disappointing with quality of food with recent visit.
Ordered a mushroom soup and it came being super salty, the kind where you can taste the salt grains on your tongue. Requested to return it, only for it to come back with the soup being overly watery. Clearly they simply tried to dilute the soup with water in a half hearted attempt to remove the saltiness. Ended up with a soup with disgusting watery texture, still salty and totally unpalatable.
This place used to have one of the best mac n cheese in Singapore, as can be found in many online reviews. However, the mac n cheese they serve now is one with cheese where you still can taste the cheese powder, overcooked macaroni that's soggy and as can be seen in the photos, completely drowned in oil.
Serving staff was also seen more interested to engage in a drinking session with his friends than to maintain the quality of food served during the busy Friday dinner service hours. He seemed to be a kitchen staff as the soup returned was brought to him and he brought it back to the kitchen to get it 'rectified'.
Sad that a good dining place has not managed to keep up its quality. Will not return again.

Came for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. We had a Mexicano burger and fish and chips. The doneness of the burger was done correctly (I asked for medium rare), and it was juicy and tender. Portion size was good, although I'm not a fan of burgers so thick that you have to cut it instead of eating it with your hands. The burger was supposed to have caramelized onions, but the onions, while tasty, were only sauted/softened. Caramelized onions means that the sugars inside the onions are caramelized (brown, not translucent)
The hand-cut fries were a bit limp/soft and greasy.
The fish was also a bit greasy on the outside, but the insides were nicely done.
The service was good, but the Cafe tended to be a bit noisy due to all the hard surfaces and high ceiling.

The ambience was good, service too. I had the Shrooms Truffle Burger and the Sweet Potato Fries. The burger was very thick and filled my stomach but the beef was a little overcooked when I ordered a medium. The food took very long too arrive and it was quite pricey (about $30 per person). Perhaps the only more reasonable dish was the cake with ice cream, though I'm not sure if the ice cream had real vanilla in it...

Everything here was fantastic, some of the service we received was a bit sub par but will definitely be coming back for the burgers. The hero was definitely the truffle and shrooms burger and the sweet potato fries which we ordered separately.

A cozy little spot on 6th Avenue for American comfort food. Try the croque madame and mac and cheese for maximum calories.

All the food and drinks are great!! Expected something different/unique from the vegetable, as it was just grilled fresh veggies.
Eunice Foo (02/05/2017 12:48)
Rumor has it that the truffle fries are deep fried IN truffle oil...and from catching a whiff of the tantalizing basket of fries from several meters away, I am inclined to believe it! Apart from being saturated in truffle oil, the fries are well seasoned with salt and dried parsley, which brings the overall taste to a whole new level. The much raved about second generation Mac & cheese lives up to the hype as well - each glorious scoop comes fully loaded with an even spread of wild mushrooms, shell macaroni and ooey gooey CHEESE! But the highlight for me was the Buttermilk Fried Chicken; its toasty and tender insides perfectly complemented the crisp maple-drizzled exterior! It's definitely a must try for all fried chicken lovers out there!
We were unfortunately unable to capitalize on any of their daily promotions, but I would recommend doing so if possible as the food is a little pricey. All in all, It's certainly a perfect place for special occasions where one can splurge and indulge without any guilt whatsoever!

A nice, casual feel with very attentive and polite staff. Despite this, the food was disappointing. Maybe just our choices, one of which was a BL(A)T that is very heavy on Lettuce and lite on Avocado. Despite our 'okay' experience, do give it a try as it is certainly not bad.

Not bad a restaurant... just wished they have mushroom soup during lunch.. haha

Pulled pork wasn't so tasty. Had also the pan fried salmon and it was good, but such a small portion for the price that you pay.

We came for brunch, the restaurant was not crowded. They have a nice name tag for our reservation. Nice little restaurant, no smell of cooking oil in the restaurant. We ordered Croque Madam, Nutella French toast, fish and chips and hangover burger. I would give 5 stars to both French toast and croque Madame. 2 stars for fish and chips and burger. The Chips were soft and soggy. Fish was not tasty. Burger was average, turn out medium rare while we ordered medium. Plain bun was used. Not much sauce on burger. Restaurant was noisy due to the design (cement and wall)

Fantastic food and service. Good variety of craft beers available. Limited seating, reservations highly recommended.

Personalised service and good lunchtime deals. Happy hour all afternoon. Serves craft beer (seasonal menu). Had the wild mushroom soup for starter and snapper for main; fish was crisp and well cooked. Convenient location next to Sixth Ave MRT.

Great selection of dishes. High quality meat and generous portions.
Timothy Teo (10/06/2016 11:52)
Nice place to chill, unwind with friends. Usually not crowded on the weekends. With new Sixth Avenue MRT open, it has become easier to get to
Shiquan Xie (24/05/2016 15:04)
Cosy place. A little pricey. The food I've ordered wasn't really worth the price. Your mileage may vary.
Emily Su (12/05/2016 22:24)
On Tuesdays, burgers go for $15++ & bottled craft beers for $10++. I had a great experience, loved the Shrooms & Truffle Burger, had it done medium rare. My friends, though, had their doneness mixed up so that was quite a shame. But for me, everything was perfect.
Shawn Par (20/12/2015 08:26)
Had a really great experience here, food was great and price was reasonable (although more towards the pricier side). Ambience was lovely as well.
