I had bought a hob and cooker hood recently and would like to compliment Joshua and Nyka for their excellent service. They were prompt in attending to my queries and fixing the installation date. In addition, I approached them regarding a fridge user manual and Nyka was very helpful in sending me softcopy of the manual.

Bought a hob, hood, oven combo and 30l water storage heater the other day. The team was very friendly and prompt in attending to me (especially the lady I first talked to). An online package I wanted was out of stock. The team patiently crafted another package right on the spot with competitive pricing. One thing that could be better might be the tallying of online and offline information.

Super customer service from Lion City. The lady boss is a very accommodating person and provided top rate recommendations when my oven ordered could not fit. Super service. Engineer who installed my oven was also super, with great customer service. Highly recommended!! And will order again in the future.

Dishonest, rude company. Bought a washing machine that took 5hrs to do a load of laundry although it was stated to only take 2-3hrs. Only after going through CASE was I able to get a refund. This was after being insulted and yelled at by the Lion City staff. Never again! Stay away!

I bought a mixer from them recently and selected Self Collection, as they promised a free gift along with it.
After waiting for about 2-3 weeks because they said it was OUT-OF-STOCK, I went to collect and this older-age lady told me that I will not be getting any free gifts. Initially, she did not even want to talk to me directly.
She said that the promotion is over and they did not remove it from their page during the sale. I am not the only one, feel free to look at the other reviews. (Misleading sale).
I then told them that if they had informed me earlier, I would have selected the free delivery.
What she replied gave me an utter shock. She said: "You keep waiting lor, we will just hold your item here forever."
In the end I had no choice but to accept the self collection and no gift. I have not opened the item and plan to submit a claim against them.
Buy from them if you would like to be treated with the lowest priority and as if you owe them the service instead.
Buy from them if you would prefer to deal with the above mentioned attitude and heartache.
Buy from them if you would like your self worth to be dumped down to the lowest bottom sub layer of the Mediterranean Sea.
Buy from them if you would support such a ridiculous company.
P.S. Looking at the past reviews, my advice to Lion City is that, with so much time and money to "SUE" your customers, I would rather you use your resources to improve your service. Maybe go for some ethics and service training?
How about you take the money you scrapped off your customers unethically to take some self improvement lessons?
P.P.S. Yes, your customers are all very free to create "FAKE" accounts to post reviews, as if your reviews need anymore "DEFAMING". You seem to be doing a good job giving yourself a bad name with the things you guys pull off.
P.P.P.S. Just because you are Lion(狮子) City,does not mean you can EAT(吃) your customers. Wake up your bloody idea.

I truthfully regret of not taking the reviews here seriously. A store owner which does take her word and promises seriously then you should not put it there at the first place. Free grinder for self-collection as what you said in Qoo10, so if it is limited stock why don't you say it in the first place. The worst part is when i put up a question for the difference between self-collection and free-delivery, since there is no more free-gift i should have the free-delivery instead right. The reply from the shop "then you don't collect lor, we just leave the item here."
Best attitude and wonderful service that i have ever seen.

Customer service is extremely bad. Wanted to buy a radio alarm clock, and I wanted to open the box to just check the condition of the clock, she said cannot even open else other customers wouldnt want. After paying, i said if i can check if it's working, she said checking is not allowed: just cash and carry. But i asked if it's not working, then i have to come back again to refund? She just said: yah, no choice. I wonder how they can even survive till today. Won't patronise it again ever.

Purchased a Karcher Steam Cleaner 4 from the company. Delivery took over 10 days as the item was on back order (website offered no intel on stock levels so I will advice customers to call up before sticking with online order. By any case I had to call up the company myself to learn of the back order). Fortunately their staff, Luhua was very prompt at replying emails and did what she can to assure me that my item will be shipped soon. Overall, there is a cost for the discounts. Nothing is free.

Horrible!!!! I purchase a cake mixer online via their website. I choose to self-collect. The transaction went thru and I was charged to my credit card. I recv 2 e-mails, an invoice and order form. We made it all the way down to collect. When I arrive, the sale lady told me the item is no longer available and they will not be re-stocking it. !!!! She just refund me in cash. What?!?!?!?! And the best thing, she was not even apologetic about it, just a matter of fact tone.
If you want to check, it is order no. 12321 done on 16 Dec, 10am.
Why sell the item when you don't have stock for it? An order form and invoice was even generated for it...
If I could give 0 stars, i would. :(

Happy to 'exchange' those great discounts with some wait time.
Lioncity really do have the lowest price. I bought a F&P fridge and Bosch washer way before my reno which started a month ago. All arrived, fixed up and in good condition when i shifted back. My humble advice, if want the discount, do some early planning and all will be delivered as promised.

I bought one washing machine, one fridge and two stand fans. To play safe, I called them to check the stock availability, both washing machine & fridge availability checked. I missed out the two stand fans, but i was lazy to call them again therefore i placed the orders together.
The next day, Ms. Shirley called me that the stand fans are out of stocks, she asked me to top up to get 2 more expensive fans with the brand I don't like. I asked if I can cancel the order. She said they won't refund, but I can change to other item if I wish. I told her the items I would like to change twice, nothing has stocks. I felt that she's forcing me to accept the stock they can't sell. Moreover, She kept asking me to top up $29 to install the washing machine. I thought that the installation charges should be told before I place the order. This is called integrity.
I understand that business is hard to be maintained nowadays. But please don't cheat.
They bait you by showing lower price on their website, and then charge you miscellaneous or tell you that the stocks are out and ask you to top up for a more expensive one.
Very uncomfortable to trade with them. Felt like cheated. I will blacklist them from today onward.

Ms. Shirley (lady boss) called me just now, she shouted at me that it was my problem that I didn't check the stock availability before order and it was my fault that I paid them by e-Nets before receiving the goods. She said that she did not force me to pay first. So it is my problem to pay first. She said that she will cancel my order immediately. Before I could ask how can I get my refund, she hang up my phone. I called back to ask, she said accounts executive hasn't reached yet. She even said that please don't "讲鸟话" on website. Oh... very cool experience of online purchase. Hope I can get my refund immediately.

Mr. Ong the boss called me and shouted at me also like posting my experience online is a crime. Very very irritating. He said they got a lots of customer wants to buy. He said "buying cheap thing still want to complain", "small kids, you are not even born yet when I were doing business.", "If you are uncomfortable to trade with us, don't trade la." Ms. Shirley at the background shouted in some dialect which I don't understand, I guessed she said I defamed them because of a few dollars. I need not to defame them, their behavior has already spoken for them.
Conclusion: This is first time ever, I paid and I got shouted. Can't you get a more civilised person to speak to your customer instead of shouting at them like they are your children. If you can't accept comment and you don't understand public relations, why you do business online. Just stay at you shop and scold your customers, nobody will know. Please put a big warning at your website "call to check stock availability before you order!!!"
If you are not buying million dollars value, don't buy from them. They don't have time to entertain chicken pea customer. If they ask you to top up, to change to other items, don't argue, just say yes. Finally you will have a pleasant shopping experience. Remember!! The items they showed you on the website, most of them are out of stocks.

The shop was not very helpful. I got a TV from them them, but turns out that it did not fit my current wall brackets. I called them for assistance for purchase of adapters to fit the wall mount, but they just brushed me off. It feels to me that once they have gotten your business, they have no interest in supporting you further.

Bought an oven and hood yesterday. Nicely attended. A very small shop but plenty to choose from catalog. Let's see how is the after sales service. Now arranging for installation.
Was charged extra for cooker hood for wiring. Was not quite convincing as I already paid $180 for install and deinstalled existing cooker hood. So end up paying $240 for cooker hood installation alone!

Please consider other stores instead of buying from Lion City.
I was looking for a washing machine. $430 quoted by another company with free delivery and disposal. $418 on Lion City website with free delivery, no mention of disposal.
After I paid for the purchase online, they called me to confirm my delivery, and mentioned that disposal was $30. This means I would be paying $448 for machine and disposal. If I had known I would have chosen to buy from the other company instead.
So I called up the company just to give my feedback that if additional payment is needed for disposal, this should be stated clearly on their website so the buyer can make a decision with all the necessary costs included.
The chinese lady who answered told me that this is a management decision and she could not do anything about it. She was clearly not interested to hear my concerns (despite their website asking for feedback so they can do better), and insisted that this was industry practice to charge disposal.
I said two things: 1) her company was free to charge the disposal, but the information should be STATED CLEARLY on the website so the customer can make an informed decision, ESPECIALLY since payment is made online, 2) Other companies didn't necessarily charge for disposal (like Kong Tai, or if you buy from Courts Online no charge for disposal), and those that do charge will state it on their website like Best Denki.
She told me, "then you should buy from other companies". That is precisely my point. If the disposal cost was made available at the point of e-payment, I would not have bought the machine from Lion City. There was no way to make a fair comparison.
Anyway, I got really riled up because she refused to take my point.
Anyway, she was dismissing my point and refusing to listen or send my feedback up to her management. So I got really upset and am ashamed to say I raised my voice at her and I later apologised. I asked to cancel my order and she said ok, and that she would call me back.
Later that evening, she called back, and said she would reduce the charge to $20 and asked me not to haggle over it (!). When I asked to cancel, she said they couldn't as it would be unfair to them, with administrative costs, one transaction like this with so much back and forth was a waste of her time etc. No consideration to the fact that it was unfair to buyers (like me) that the full cost was not disclosed online, and it should be up on the website somewhere, and my time was important too.
When I finally asked to speak to her manager, she said that she was the boss, and she made the final decision, and that's why she could speak to me in this way.
I'm sorry to say this lady boss isn't honest-initially said she couldn't make the decision about adding disposal details on the website (implying she was not in charge) but later said her decision stands because she is the boss.
It was my fault that I didn't read the online reviews about Lion City before paying online since there are several other bad reviews about the way they conduct their business.
The delivery was supposed to be between 10am-12pm, but in the end the delivery only made it at 12.45pm, and I had to call the company up to chase for a reply about the delivery timing.
