I had my Health Check at Lifescan Medical Centre Paragon and it was beyond my imagination that such a place could exist in Singapore! There were mainly groups of "tourist" patients from other countries and this was probably the reason why I had to wait 3 hours in total before the staff asked me if I can come again another day, otherwise I would have to come back in the afternoon (appointment scheduled at 9!) as there are still groups of patients before me. Really outrageous! On this first day of examination, I was consulted by a female Doctor and she was professional. In my report, it was mentioned that I had blood in my urine which was also one of the reasons I came for the health check initially. As there was still blood in my urine after the test, she suggested in the report to repeat the test (which I could read in the report!). However, when I return for the review, I saw another (male) Doctor who had pushed on me the fact that everything is OK with my health and therefore also with my urine (despite the result in the urine test!). I tried discussing with him but he just keep saying there would be no need for another test because he thinks that there was blood because the test was after my period (which I told him was not true!). I left the place with such anger because not only this is not a hospital, but a factory to squeeze in as much patients as possible which the only objectif: make as much money as possible. But what frightens me the most is the fact that even some of the Doctors working here have no ethics! How can you be a Doctor if you lack the most important thing? I don't wanna name anyone here but please, think a bit about your practice! It's shockingly disgraceful!
